There are a ton of high-end wide receivers in the NFL. We power ranked them ahead of the 2025 NFL Season. It really does feel like the NFL is becoming a wide receiver league, and it feels like there has never been more WR talent across the NFL.
NFL defenses are trying to stop the passing attack, so we have also seen a revival of the run game. At the end of the day, the old saying of "...defense wins championships" still applies, but you have to wonder if all of these high-powered offense can sustain themselves for the long-term.
We power ranked the best receivers in the NFL approaching the 2025 season. Let's get into it here.
Power ranking the best wide receivers in the NFL for the 2025 season
10. Nico Collins, Houston Texans
Breaking out in 2023, Nico Collins has nearly 150 receptions and just over 2,300 yards in the last two seasons for the Houston Texans, but he's done this in just 27 total regular season games. Collins has established himself as a no. 1 WR and a true "X" at the position.
He's a true alpha and one of the best receivers in the NFL.
9. Malik Nabers, New York Giants
Malik Nabers being out to catch over 100 passes for over 1,200 yards with the QB play the New York Giants had in 2024 is a flat-out miracle and might honestly be more of a testament to how good Nabers truly is.
It feels like it's only a matter of time before he's catching passes from rookie QB Jaxson Dart. Nabers averaged 80.3 yards per game and caught an impressive 64.1% of his targets from the below-average Giants' QBs in the 2024 NFL Season. He's just inside the top-10 in our receiver power rankings approaching the 2025 NFL Season.
Nabers was targeted a whopping 170 times in his rookie season, and that number could honestly jump in 2025.
8. Drake London, Atlanta Falcons
Drake London was a modestly-productive wide receiver in his first two years in the NFL, but he put it all together in the 2024 NFL Season, as he caught 100 passes for 1,271 yards and nine touchdowns.
London has missed just one game in his NFL career and is going to be a huge target for second-year QB Michael Penix Jr for 2025 and beyond. The Falcons do have a legitimate no. 1 on their hands with London. He's been targeted at least 110 times in every season of his NFL.
7. Tyreek Hill, Miami Dolphins
Tyree Hill was not able to put up a high-end season in 2024 with the Miami Dolphins, but Miami was dealing with poor QB play. However, in his three-year career with the Dolphins, Hill has caught 319 passes for 4,468 yards and 26 touchdowns. He had four-straight 1,000-yard seasons from 2020-2023 as well.
Back in 2023, Tyreek Hill led the NFL in yards, touchdowns, and yards per game, and you have to think that he's got another solid year or two in him, as it seems like he could retire in the near future. A future Hall of Famer. Tyreek Hill is seventh in our power rankings.
6. Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams
Making the Pro Bowl as a rookie, Puka Nacua had caught 105 receptions for 1,486 yards and six touchdowns. Nacua was only able to suit up for 11 games in the 2024 NFL Season, but the key here is that he averaged an entire reception more per game and about 2.5 more yards per game compared to his rookie season.
Had Nacua played a full 17 games, he would have likely not only made the Pro Bowl, but also been named to an All-Pro team as well. He's got just under 2,500 yards through his first two seasons in the NFL and is going to feast alongside Davante Adams in the 2025 NFL Season. Nacua is sixth in our WR power rankings.
5. AJ Brown, Philadelphia Eagles
A three-time Pro Bowler AJ Brown has 7,026 yards through his first six seasons in the NFL, and he might just be the most physically dominant receiver in the NFL. Despite playing with a below-average passer in Jalen Hurts, Brown has managed to catch 261 passes for 4,031 yards and 25 touchdowns during his Philly tenure.
He also caught a career-high 69.1% of his targets in the 2024 NFL Season, and is only set to enter his age-28 season in the NFL. AJ Brown is a top-5 receiver in the NFL, period.
4. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions
A three-time Pro Bowler and a two-time All-Pro, Amon-Ra St. Brown is simply outstanding and already has 430 receptions through his first four seasons in the NFL. He caught 90 passes as a rookie and a career-high 119 passes in the 2023 NFL Season. Forming an elite connection with Jared Goff, St. Brown has a 114.6 passer rating when targeted, and in 2024, had a 129.4 passer rating when targeted.
St. Brown has also broken 22 tackles in his career, which is impressive. He's fourth in our power rankings.
3. CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys
We're now getting into the very best and some receivers who could be future Hall of Famers without question. CeeDee Lamb has four Pro Bowls and one All-Pro to his name and is just 26 years old. He's got 38 touchdown receptions over his career and nearly 500 receptions.
Lamb has four-straight seasons with at least 1,100 yards and has caught at least five touchdowns in each season of his NFL career.
2. Ja'Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals
Winning the WR triple crown in the 2024 NFL Season, Ja'Marr Chase could be the best WR in the NFL, but he's second in our power rankings. Through four years in the NFL, Chase has four Pro Bowls and also led the NFL in yards per game in 2024.
He's formed an elite connection with Joe Burrow and already has 46 touchdown receptions in just 62 career regular season games. Chase caught 72.6% of his targets in the 2024 season and could only be set to get better.
1. Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings
Justin Jefferson is the best wide receiver in the NFL, period. Only set to enter his age-26 season, Jefferson has 495 receptions for 7,432 yards and 40 touchdowns. His 96.5 yards per game average is also the highest in the history of the NFL right now. Jefferson has averaged more than 100 yards per game in two seasons of his career and led the NFL with 128 receptions and 1,809 yards in the 2022 campaign.
There really isn't a single flaw in his game. He's also got a 108.4 career passer rating when targeted.
