Unless you slept through it all, you were present for some major trade deadline deals that went down on Tuesday, and it did not disappoint. There were several trades that happened on Tuesday afternoon alone, and some big-name players are now on new teams.

These trades definitely changed the NFL hierarchy a bit, as a team like the New York Jets are clearly in a 'tank' mode, but teams like the Indianapolis Colts and Seattle Seahawks are trying to win now and make a run at things.

Let's get into a brand-new NFL power rankings after the dust has settled from the insane action at the NFL trade deadline.

Updated NFL power rankings following intense trade deadline action

32. Tennessee Titans (1-8)

The Titans can't do much of anything right, and they are, unquestionably, the worst team in football. It would not be shocking to see this team finish 1-16.

31. New York Jets (1-7)

The New York Jets traded Sauce Gardner and Quinnen Williams on Tuesday, so this team is clearly building for the future and depleted their roster of its two best players. This was a major shift for the Jets' franchise.

30. New Orleans Saints (1-8)

Another team that might not win another game this season is the 1-8 New Orleans Saints, who have handed the reigns over to Tyler Shough.

29. Miami Dolphins (2-7)

Trading Jaelan Phillips to the Philadelphia Eagles, it's honestly a bit of a shock Miami wasn't able to offload any other players of note.

28. Las Vegas Raiders (2-6)

The Raiders traded Jakobi Meyers to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Tuesday and got a respectable haul for the WR, who was not in their future plans.

27. Washington Commanders (3-6)

With Jayden Daniels again set to miss time, it's hard to envision how this Commanders' team doesn't continue to be among the worst in football.

26. Cleveland Browns (2-6)

If nothing else, the Cleveland Browns do have a playoff-caliber defense, and that has to be good for something.

25. Cincinnati Bengals (3-6)

If nothing else, the Cincinnati Bengals do have a playoff-caliber offense, and that has to be good for something...

24. Atlanta Falcons (3-5)

It's a shame with the Atlanta Falcons, as this team does have considerable roster talent, but the coaching is simply not good enough, and this team could clean house following the 2025 NFL Season. Atlanta is one of the more disappointing teams this year by a mile.

23. New York Giants (2-7)

The Jaxson Dart era has gotten off to an interesting start, as he's played quite well and honestly might be something worthwhile, but the Giants are poorly-coached and aren't going to win many more games. Unless a major change comes, it would not shock me to see Brian Daboll getting fired.

22. Arizona Cardinals (3-5)

Jacoby Brissett should remain the Arizona Cardinals' starting QB for the rest of the season, as this team is playing well with him under center. Kyler Murray probably gets traded in the offseason.

21. Houston Texans (3-5)

The Houston Texans lost to the Denver Broncos in Week 9 and were unable to even-up their record. It'll be an uphill battle for this team to get back into the playoff picture.

20. Minnesota Vikings (4-4)

Even though the Minnesota Vikings won in Week 9, this team still has a massive question mark at the QB position, so let's not pretend that all of their questions just got answered. The Vikings are a fine team but still have much to prove.

19. Carolina Panthers (5-4)

A walk-off win against the Green Bay Packers has to have the Carolina Panthers feeling good, but we definitely need to see more from QB Bryce Young. He hasn't really broken out yet, and he might not ever...

18. Los Angeles Chargers (6-3)

The Los Angeles Chargers are now down Joe Alt for the rest of the season and have been without Rashawn Slater. I do not envision this team being able to close the deal down the stretch. Them missing the playoffs entirely would not shock me, honestly.

17. Kansas City Chiefs (5-4)

A shaky loss to the Buffalo Bills drops the Kansas City Chiefs to 5-4, and I am tired of people thinking these are the Chiefs of old. They're 5-4 for a reason, and are also 0-4 in one-score games...

16. Jacksonville Jaguars (5-3)

I am still uncertain about the Jacksonville Jaguars, as, despite the solid win in Week 9, this team still hasn't seen their QB do much of anything notable here in 2025, and I simply have to wonder if we're closing in on Trevor Lawrence just not being that good. Something has to give, either way. Jacksonville is an average team right now.

15. Chicago Bears (5-3)

A dramatic comeback win for the Chicago Bears sees them improve to 5-3. Three teams in the NFC North now all have five wins, so this division is truly up for grabs. Chicago has played quite well under first-year head coach Ben Johnson.

14. Dallas Cowboys (3-5-1)

The Dallas Cowboys added Quinnen Williams and Logan Wilson to their defense on Tuesday, so they did make notable improvements. Sure, you might not agree with how the Cowboys went about their business, but they got better at two positions of need and should be able to stack a few wins down the stretch. This team does have one of the best offenses in the NFL.

13. San Francisco 49ers (6-3)

Despite all the injuries, the San Francisco 49ers are 6-3 and have a legitimate shot at not only making the playoffs, but even winning the NFC West depending on how things shake out down the stretch, but their ceiling feels quite low.

12. Pittsburgh Steelers (5-3)

I was shocked to see the Pittsburgh Steelers beating the Indianapolis Colts in Week 9. That was a great win, and it keeps them at a safe distance in the AFC North as well.

11. Green Bay Packers (5-2-1)

A brutal loss to the Carolina Panthers leaves me wondering if the Green Bay Packers are truly as good as many of us thought coming into the season.

10. Detroit Lions (5-3)

Speaking of brutal losses, you simply can't lose at home to the JJ McCarthy-led Minnesota Vikings. That was as bad of a loss as you'll ever see this Lions' team have. They'll improve.

9. Baltimore Ravens (3-5)

This might seem quite high, but with a healthy Lamar Jackson and the rest of the defense getting better, the Ravens might truly emerge as the top-10 team we all know they are.

8. Buffalo Bills (6-2)

The Buffalo Bills again beat the Kansas City Chiefs in the regular season, but they tend to not beat them when the playoffs roll around. I will say this, though, both Buffalo and KC are each not leading their divisions at the moment, so that's a thing...

7. Philadelphia Eagles (6-2)

On their bye in Week 9, the Eagles won two games in a row after losing two in a row. Jalen Hurts has taken care of the ball well this year, and they did add some players on defense to take that unit to the next level. Philly will be just fine.

6. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-2)

Another 6-2 team in the NFC, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are led by a top-tier QB in Baker Mayfield and could again win the NFC South, which would again guarantee them a top-4 seed in the NFC and a home playoff game. Tampa could make a deep run this year.

5. New England Patriots (7-2)

Winners of six games in a row, the New England Patriots are powered by second-year QB Drake Maye and are beating up on their ultra-soft schedule, which is what they should be doing. I am not sure how far this team can go given their low-quality of wins, but you don't get to a 7-2 record without being a good, well-coached team.

4. Denver Broncos (7-2)

Speaking of six-game winning streaks in the AFC, the Denver Broncos have notched a ton of comeback wins and are just magicians when the fourth quarter rolls around. The Broncos have to figure out how to play a bit better in the first three quarters, though.

3. Indianapolis Colts (7-2)

Adding Sauce Gardner is great work by GM Chris Ballard, and this move really does give Indy a top-5 roster in the NFL and sends a message to the rest of the AFC.

2. Seattle Seahawks (6-2)

A blowout win over the Washington Commanders on Sunday Night Football proved to all of us that this team is for real, and they added WR Rashid Shaheed at the deadline, a field-stretching WR that reunites with Klint Kubiak.

1. Los Angeles Rams (6-2)

The best team in the NFL right now, though, is the Los Angeles Rams. Matthew Stafford should be viewed as the MVP right now, and there might not be a better head coach in this league than Sean McVay.
