Week 10 of the 2025 NFL Season is about over, and this league truly never disappoints. While many of the finishes here were not particularly close, there was still some drama and again some upsets to talk about as well.
As we enter the final chunk of the season, divisional rates are going to heat up and playoff berths will officially be clinched. It is a heated race in both the AFC and the NFC, as the AFC holds the only three eight-win teams in the NFL, but the NFC has a done of great teams.
We've got our latest installment of our NFL power rankings. As we always do, we primarily factor in the total body of work for our rankings but do put a notable emphasis on this week's results. Let's get into it.
NFL Power Rankings, Week 11: Pair of NFC West teams ascend to the top
32. Tennessee Titans (1-8)
Titans are on their bye in Week 10
Arguably the worst team in the NFL, the Tennessee Titans entered the Week 10 bye with a putrid 1-8 record and are heading toward a full rebuild. Rookie QB Cam Ward has dealt with a lot this year, but he’s also been bad himself, and it almost feels like this situation is a historically bad one when you consider high-profile rookie QBs.
Titans’ GM Mike Borgonzi is going to have to hit this offseason out of the park. He’ll get to hand-pick his next head coach and is going to have another offseason to craft the roster in his image. The 2026 season is going to be huge for this team, as the Titans are angling toward having one of the first two picks in the 2026 NFL Draft.
They simply have to get some blue-chip talent on this team and also find a staff that can develop Cam Ward to at least his ceiling in the NFL.
31. Cleveland Browns (2-7)
A stinker of a loss to the New York Jets honestly tells us nothing new with the Cleveland Browns. This is one of, if not, the worst team in the NFL, and it’s going to stay that way until this team does something notable at the QB position.
The Browns do have two first-round picks in the 2026 NFL Draft, as the Jacksonville Jaguars’ own pick belongs to them. That might be this franchise’s only chance to get something going here in the future.
30. New York Jets (2-7)
When bad teams win games this late into the season, it does not really change much in the grand scheme of things. Bad teams have a ton of issues from top to bottom, and the New York Jets recently did something that we simply do not see happen much in the NFL - a total fire sale.
At the deadline, New York traded Sauce Gardner and Quinnen Williams and was able to acquire, among other things, three first-round picks, which is awesome work by GM Darren Mougey. The Jets are going to struggle to win two more games this year, but it’s also abundantly clear that team is building for the future.
A win in Week 10 of the 2025 NFL Season against another bad team does not change things for the Jets. The hope is that Mougey can hit on these draft picks.
29. Las Vegas Raiders (2-7)
Could this regime be one-and-done? With how bad the Las Vegas Raiders have looked this year, it could be hard to imagine that Pete Carroll gets into 2026, but there is a good chance that Carroll is getting paid a ton of money, so he probably is not going anywhere.
On Thursday Night Football, the Raiders held the Denver Broncos to just 10 points, but they weren’t able to score double-digits themselves. Defensively, that unit played well, and a ton of credit goes to them, but the offense was, yet again, disastrous.
Geno Smith threw another interception and now has 12 on the season, and this unit just does not have good personnel. Jakobi Meyers is out of the picture, and the only player who can really save things here is Brock Bowers, who is an alien at the tight end position.
The Raiders don’t have a path to many more wins in the 2025 NFL Season and will continue to be ranked quite low in our NFL power rankings. It’s another loss season for a once-proud franchise.
28. New Orleans Saints (2-8)
How about the New Orleans Saints? Tyler Shough, their rookie QB, got his first win of his NFL career, and it was an interesting one. The Saints went into Carolina and beat a 5-4 Panthers’ team, now dropping to 5-5 with the loss.
It was not the prettiest of games, and as we just mentioned, bad teams winning this late in the season does not change much, but it’s encouraging for Shough if nothing else. The Saints have a ton of roster issue, and GM Mickey Loomis has a huge rebuild ahead of him.
But if you ask me, Loomis should not be the one calling the shots going forward. The Saints need some fresh blood in the building, as they have truly been a bad franchise ever since losing Sean Payton. Loomis has pushed this rebuild down the line, and it’s not doing the team any good.
The Saints rise a bit in our latest NFL power rankings.
27. New York Giants (2-8)
Yet another late-game collapse from the New York Giants keeps us asking ‘what if.’ What if the Giants had been able to close out some of these games this year? What if they didn’t squander leads to the Denver Broncos and now the Chicago Bears.
Rookie QB Jaxson Dart left this game with a concussion as well, so that’s another issue the G-Men will have to work around in the coming days. Now at 2-8, it’s hard to imagine that head coach Brian Daboll is going to survive much longer. GM Joe Schoen seems to have found something with Dart, and that might be enough to warrant him coming back for another year.
That’s really the only positive thing that has come from the Giants’ 2025 season. Jaxson Dart might be legit.
26. Arizona Cardinals (3-6)
The Arizona Cardinals fall to 3-6 on the season after their latest loss, this one coming in Week 10 against the Seattle Seahawks. This wasn’t really much of a contest, either, as the Seahawks outmatched the Cardinals everywhere, and Arizona’s 2025 season continues to spiral down the drain.
It’s also a bit of a shame, as the Cardinals were 2-0 through two weeks but have since gone 1-6, which is almost as bad as you can possibly get in today’s NFL. It’s unclear what direction this franchise will go in, as the status of Kyler Murray with the team is not guaranteed beyond this season.
It feels like Arizona wants to move on from Murray in a trade, but who would take him? We’re still multiple months away from that, but it’s a worthwhile discussion to begin having now. The Cardinals felt like a fringe playoff team coming into the 2025 NFL Season, having won eight games in 2024 and adding a ton of DL talent this offseason.
It’s just not worked like that. I would have honestly expected them to be a lot closer to 6-3 at this point than where they are now. It’s been a season to forget for the franchise.
25. Washington Commanders (3-7)
A bad loss for the Washington Commanders drops them to 3-7 on the season, and I really do not think this team needs to even think about putting Jayden Daniels back out there. This is a lost season, officially, as they could have hung around with a win, but they got blown out by the Detroit Lions.
Washington has 3-7 on the season and is now among the worst teams in the NFL - the injuries have piled up, and Daniels has not been able to stay consistently healthy this year. Washington next plays in Week 13 against the Denver Broncos, and I would be floored if the coaches put their second-year QB back out there.
This team needs to shut him down for the rest of 2025 and build toward 2026 and beyond. GM Adam Peters has to begin filling this roster with young talent, as he clearly made a push this offseason, but he made a push with older players.
It was not a wise roster-building method in hindsight, and I think he’s realizing that right now. Going 12-5 in the 2024 NFL Season, Washington is going to struggle to reach half of their 2024 win total here in 2025, sadly.
24. Carolina Panthers (5-5)
This was as disappointing of a loss as I think the Carolina Panthers have had in years, and that i saying something. This team went into Green Bay in Week 9 and beat the Packers on a last-second field goal. They had an amazing opportunity to go to 6-4 and begin to get some breathing room with their record in Week 10.
All they had to do was beat the New Orleans Saints!
Dave Canales, their second-year head coach, has largely done an awesome job this year, but the QB situation is still an issue, and it’s not getting any better. At this point, unless a major period of growth happens, which feels unlikely, the Panthers are going to be in the market for another QB in the 2026 NFL Offseason.
I cannot stress how disastrous of a loss this was for the Panthers’ franchise.
23. Minnesota Vikings (4-5)
Yes, it’s still, in a way, JJ McCarthy’s rookie season, but it’s been a season to forget, and it feels like we need to pump the brakes with McCarthy and the Minnesota Vikings right now. It felt like after their fourth quarter comeback against the Bears weeks ago, the media and NFL world at large really went overboard with their praise for McCarthy.
He’s been a bad quarterback in the 2025 season, and that isn’t really controversial or much of a discussion, but he can improve! This is how rookie QBs typically look unless they are simply ahead of the curve. McCarthy now has five touchdown passes against a whopping six interceptions this year, so it’s not been good, and it’s been less than ideal even for a typical rookie QB situation.
The Vikings fell to the Baltimore Ravens at home, and that was a game they absolutely were capable of winning. It’s going to be interesting to see how McCarthy improves down the stretch. If he does, the franchise can buy into him in 2026, but if not, they’ll again be looking for a QB. Do they regret letting Sam Darnold leave in the offseason?
22. Miami Dolphins (3-7)
The upset of Week 10 belongs to the Miami Dolphins, and it was a 17-point victory, which is also a blowout in NFL terms. The Buffalo Bills were simply horrendous in Week 10, but the Dolphins were simply outstanding.
It’s clear that the players are still ‘playing for’ head coach Mike McDaniel despite the change they have undergone. GM Chris Grier is out, and pass-rusher Jaelan Phillips was traded to the Eagles, so everyone saw that this team was heading toward punting on the season.
But they still showed up to play and honestly made the entire AFC playoff picture a lot more interesting. Miami isn’t going to make the playoffs or anything, but Buffalo dropping to 6-3 does muddy things up a bit. The Patriots also won in Week 10, so Buffalo falls further behind the Pats, and they are running out of time.
Good for the Miami Dolphins - they have been through a lot lately but are still playing hard.
21. Cincinnati Bengals (3-6)
Bengals are on their bye in Week 10
You cannot truly overstate how bad of a loss the Cincinnati Bengals had in Week 9 of the 2025 NFL Season. Their defense feels historically bad at this point, and a win, had they been able to close it out like 99% of other NFL teams could, would have given them a bit of hope at 4-5.
Now at 3-6, it’s hard to imagine that any sort of bye week changes are going to be enough to get this team on the right track. The offense has been great, and it honestly feels like it’s been better under Joe Flacco than it was under Joe Burrow. Flacco has been slinging the ball all over the place and is simply finding Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.
Defensively, though, it’s more of the same, and until the Bengals bring in a legitimate defensive coordinator and get some NFL-caliber players on this unit, it’s going to continue to be among the worst in the league.
Heck, even Zac Taylor, their head coach, might be out the door after the 2025 season, as it feels like he has run his course with this franchise. It’s just another yucky season for the Bengals.
20. Atlanta Falcons (3-6)
The Atlanta Falcons kept it close, which was impressive, but they also played a horrific game at the same time. The defense let the team down late and could not keep the Colts from scoring multiple times to tie the game and eventually win in overtime.
Michael Penix Jr has also largely looked awful this year, and with all the weapons he has at his disposal, you’d have hoped for more at this point. Overall, the Falcons being 3-6 is a huge disappointment, no matter how you slice it.
Head coach Raheem Morris is honestly coaching his way out of the situation in 2026, but Penix hasn’t done much to inspire confidence in his abilities as a franchise QB. Even in the weak NFC South, the Falcons feel like they’re far away from getting back into the race.
This team would likely have to finish 10-7 if they hoped to sniff the playoffs, and a 7-1 finish over the final eight games feels impossible. It’s yet another horrible loss for the Atlanta Falcons, and at this point in a season, this is the type of team they will continue to be.
19. Jacksonville Jaguars (5-4)
When you talk about bad losses and what those look like in the NFL, you look at what the Jacksonville Jaguars just did in Week 10, squandering a huge fourth quarter lead to the division rival Houston Texans.
The Jags are still 5-4 and in the playoff picture, but it’s clear how flawed this team is, and they really should have closed the deal - that isn’t up for discussion. Trevor Lawrence has honestly been pretty dreadful this year even without considering the drops he’s dealt with.
Jacksonville is led by first-year head coach Liam Coen, and while this loss stings, the Jags are still overperforming if we’re being honest. This team does not have 5-4 talent, so it could be a sign of things to come if GM James Gladstone is able to hit on some draft picks.
The epic collapse could have been prevented, and the Jags could have really done themselves a huge favor by improving to 6-3. With Houston now 4-5, the Jaguars have to be careful.
18. Dallas Cowboys (3-5-1)
Cowboys are on their bye in Week 10
You have to give credit where it’s due; Jerry Jones told the NFL world that he had some trades cooking, and he was not lying. Not only did the Dallas Cowboys trade for linebacker Logan Wilson, but they also swung a trade for defensive tackle Quinnen Williams.
Jones and the Cowboys added two plus-players at their respective positions, and with Dallas being on their bye in Week 10, Wilson and Williams will have time to get acclimated to the defense. You still get the feeling that another addition is probably necessary, but Wilson and Williams are good, even great football players, period.
Dallas is fielding a playoff-caliber offense that is good enough to win multiple games, but, like the Cincinnati Bengals, is fielding a bottom-tier defense, and that’s the issue. You still have to applaud Dallas for being proactive, and whether it works or not is not the discussion right now.
The Cowboys weren’t going to figure out one way or another unless they actually went out and made the moves. I would not expect Dallas to make the playoffs this year, but they did position themselves to field a more competent defense and perhaps stack a few wins.
I get the sense that 10 wins is probably what Dallas has to hit in order to get into the postseason, so Dallas probably needs to win seven of their final eight games, which is likely not possible.
17. Houston Texans (4-5)
Once 0-3, the Houston Texans have since gone 4-2 and are improving before our eyes. The issues with this team are obviously along the offensive line, and there isn’t a realistic way for that unit to improve until the offseason.
It doesn’t feel like the Texans are a legitimate playoff team, but their defense is just magical and could lead this team down the stretch. Likely having to get to 10 wins to make the postseason, Houston would have to win six of their final eight games, which could happen.
However, the AFC South title is likely out of reach unless the Colts collapse big-time, but the Wild Card might still be something. CJ Stroud was not in this game, as he got a concussion in Week 9 after a legal hit from Broncos’ CB Kris Abrams-Draine.
Houston is slowly climbing in our NFL power rankings. This is a team to watch out for down the stretch.
16. Pittsburgh Steelers (5-3)
Steelers will have played the Chargers on Sunday Night Football
The Pittsburgh Steelers will have squared-off against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday Night Football. My thoughts before the game happens is that the Steelers do have a chance to win here, as the Chargers are going to be without tackle Joe Alt for the rest of the season, so the offensive line is in rough shape, and the Steelers can, if nothing else, get to the QB. Speaking of QB, Aaron Rodgers has been really sharp this year and has done his job, so the Steelers should be able to put up points in this one.
And honestly, this game could be a coin flip given how beat up the Chargers’ OL is. I have actually predicted a Steelers’ win, but I am prepared to be wrong. Pittsburgh has been about as expected this year - they aren’t a spectacular team by any means, but are again winning more than they are losing, and that is always tough to do in the NFL.
However, just like the previous several seasons, this team is simply not good enough to make a playoff run and is trending toward going one-and-done in the playoffs for the millionth time in a row.
Is that the standard with this franchise?
15. Baltimore Ravens (4-5)
Don’t look now, but the Baltimore Ravens are now 4-5 on the season and doing what many people thought they could do now that Lamar Jackson is back in the picture. It was not a blowout or anything, but the Ravens took care of business against a shaky Vikings’ team.
The Ravens have to keep stacking wins and likely have to win 10 games to get into the playoffs this year, and I really do believe they have a legitimate shot at winning the AFC North. The team is remarkably healthier than they were just a few weeks ago, which is wild to think about.
This team has also stacked a ton of success in the regular season, and it would simply be unprecedented to see this team missing the playoffs. The Ravens still have a ton of work to do, and it’s not like they’ve ‘made it’ or anything, but they have begun to confirm what most of us thought about being able to stack wins.
The Ravens gradually rise in our power rankings and could make a huge jump in the coming weeks. Don’t rule this team out.
14. San Francisco 49ers (6-4)
It’s honestly pretty impressive that the San Francisco 49ers are 6-4. They’ve dealt with a ton of injuries this year on both sides of the ball and just aren’t working with much. Guys like Nick Bosa, Fred Warner, and Brock Purdy have missed a chunk of the season, and other injuries to lesser players have also contributed to this situation as well.
The 49ers are still in a good spot to earn a Wild Card spot in the NFC playoffs this year, and they did win just six games all of 2024, so they are already at their win total from last season. The injuries have been a huge factor that has not allowed head coach Kyle Shanahan to sustain success, as it feels like this team gets seriously hurt every other season.
With the Rams and Seahawks significantly better, the Niners’ quest at the NFC West title feels about over. Brock Purdy’s return to the lineup could help, but Mac Jones has played very well with Purdy being out.
Heck, I would not be shocked if the 49ers had a long discussion about the QB situation when the 2025 NFL Season is over.
13. Buffalo Bills (6-3)
Bad. Ugly. Terrible. The Buffalo Bills do this a couple of times a year, so I guess they got one of these out of the way after Week 10. It was a horrendous loss to the Miami Dolphins, and I think it’s time we stop looking at the Bills as being a legitimate contender. Heck, this team might not even win the division this year, so let’s pump the brakes.
The Dolphins averaged seven yards per play and gashed Buffalo on the ground, which was the main issue here, and the Bills’ defense has been an issue this entire season. Unless some radical change happens, you don’t get the sense that the Bills are going to become threats in the playoffs.
And just because “they’ve done it before,” doesn’t mean 2025 will bring a similar result. Both Buffalo and Kansas City have regressed this year, honestly. The Bills fall in our latest NFL power rankings, and this team is truly nothing special.
12. Chicago Bears (6-3)
The Chicago Bears got it done against the New York Giants in Week 10, and the Bears, of all teams, are 6-3. It’s been a great year thus far for first-year head coach Ben Johnson. The defense is still a bit shaky, but the record is what it is.
Chicago could get into the NFC playoffs with 10 wins in my opinion, but they might have the NFC North title in mind. No matter what happens in Week 10, Chicago isn’t going to lose any ground in the division because of their win.
Things have to get cleaned up, but you can’t argue with the results. Caleb Williams now has 13 touchdowns on the season against four interceptions, so he continues to take good care of the football and has just 10 interceptions across his career, which is sensational.
If Williams is able to keep the ball out of harm’s way like this early in his career, it could translate into something truly special later in his career. The Bears are building something good here, folks.
11. Los Angeles Chargers (6-3)
Chargers will have played the Steelers on Sunday Night Football
It feels like the Los Angeles Chargers are honestly hanging by a thread - this team has dealt with a ton of injuries and are now officially without Joe Alt for the rest of the 2025 NFL Season. He has another ankle injury.
With Rashawn Slater having been out, the Chargers are down to scraps along the offensive line, as their interior was already a problem to begin with. LA is still 6-3 heading into Sunday Night Football but are set to face a fierce Steelers’ pass rush and a defense that is known for the splash play.
I am actually predicting a Chargers’ loss in this one, but they are 6-3 for a reason. The main concern now with the Bolts is how banged-up they are, and they do not have the depth to make up for all of the personnel losses.
LA might see their chances at the AFC West title slip away if they fall to the Steelers on SNF and if the Chiefs can stack some wins. The Denver Broncos are first in the division at 8-2, and a 6-4 record would be hard to make up this late in the season. LA is on the cusp of something, whether good or bad.
10. Green Bay Packers (5-2-1)
Packers play on Monday Night Football against the Eagles
A huge Monday Night Football game awaits the Green Bay Packers. This team, through their first eight games, just do not look all that special. They have two losses against the Cleveland Browns and Carolina Panthers, and a tie against the Dallas Cowboys.
Being able to beat the Philadelphia Eagles on MNF would do wonders for this team in the second half of the 2025 season, as Green Bay has been in that ‘good not great’ tier for multiple years now, and that Micah Parsons trade almost felt like it was the franchise sending a message to the rest of the NFL.
But it’s not turned out that way. The Packers have been good this year, though, and will stack enough wins to make the playoffs. They won nine regular season games in 2023 and 10 in 2024, so it’s reasonable to think they’ll finish with about 10 this year unless they really turn it on.
Jordan Love has played well this year and could emerge as an MVP candidate if the Packers can beat the Eagles and go on a bit of a run. Their roster is also quite solid, so it’s not really a talent issue.
9. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-3)
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers went back-and-forth with an AFC juggernaut in the New England Patriots, and this game may have told us way more about the Patriots. Tampa is more of a proven commodity, but I am a bit shocked they lost this game.
Anyway, Tampa is still 6-3 on the season, and, with the Panthers losing, can breathe a little bit. The Falcons also lost, so the division continues to be a bit dysfunctional. However, you don’t get the sense that Tampa is going to be a huge threat in the NFC playoffs in their current form.
The defense is just alright, and the offense has been banged-up this year, so this team is flawed a bit. I have said for a while is Tampa is one of the most ‘good not great’ teams in the NFL, and I think we did see that here in Week 10. The Buccaneers drop a bit in our power rankings and have a few questions they need to answer going forward if they want to be viewed as contenders.
8. Kansas City Chiefs (5-4)
Chiefs are on their bye in Week 10
The Kansas City Chiefs are an interesting team. A loss in Week 9 against the Buffalo Bills kind of stalled out what was a bit of a resurgence. The team had started 0-2 and then proceeded to go 5-1 over their next six games, so many had figured they’d take care of Buffalo, who has not looked great this year.
Now flirting with a .500 record more than halfway into the season, the Chiefs have to get serious. They play the 8-2 Denver Broncos in Week 11, a team riding a seven-game win streak. Denver also has not lost at home in over a calendar year, so that’s a giant mountain KC will have to climb.
And if the Chiefs lose that game, it would be hard to envision the 5-5 Chiefs, already being down one game to the Broncos, making up ground on a 9-2 team with seven games to play. It’s not an exaggeration to say that this Week 11 game could be their most important of the season.
The Chiefs have a flawed roster and are all of a sudden not winning the one-score games they did in the 2024 season. Talent-wise, this group is nothing special, and it’s really no shock they’re 5-4.
But, at the end of the day, the Chiefs still have Patrick Mahomes, and he’s good for some magic here and there.
7. Detroit Lions (6-3)
The Detroit Lions were expected to win this game, and they did. The Lions actually seemed to make a major change, as Dan Campbell was calling the plays in this one, not offensive coordinator John Morton, who they hired to replace the departed Ben Johnson this past offseason.
And it’s no surprise that the Lions had one of their best offensive outputs of the Campbell era. Morton was clearly not getting the job done, so Campbell saw that and made the change. It would shock me if “Motor City Dan” didn’t continue calling the plays for the rest of the season, but I really do not think he wants to for the long-term.
The Lions improve to 6-3 on the season and hang with the Chicago Bears in the NFC North, which is not something I expected to be saying here in 2025. The Lions should be able to pull away here, as they’ve got the best roster in the division and the best QB as well.
Detroit has flirted with a Super Bowl berth these past couple of seasons and might have another realistic shot at it in 2025, but the health of this team is a huge factor here, as they were super banged up in 2024 and are pretty injured here in 2025.
6. New England Patriots (8-2)
This was a huge game for the New England Patriots in Week 10. The Pats, coming into this week, had beaten up on a lot of bad teams, and many had wondered if they’d be able to hang with a mainstay like the Buccaneers.
And did they ever. New England has now won seven games in a row and maintains pace with the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos atop the AFC. It’s going to be a three-horse race here down the stretch to see if the trio can win their divisions and keep pace atop the conference.
Second-year QB Drake Maye has been outstanding this year and might have taken a huge stride toward the NFL MVP award this year. It did feel like New England needed a signature win, and they got it.
The next question should now be will this team be able to close out the AFC East race and win a playoff game or two? It’s quite insane how far this team has done in the 2025 NFL Season under Mike Vrabel, but everything is working.
The Patriots continue to rise in our power rankings and don’t seem to have many flaws when you think about it.
5. Philadelphia Eagles (6-2)
Eagles play on Monday Night Football against the Packers
The Philadelphia Eagles are coming off their Week 9 bye and are in Lambeau Field to play the Green Bay Packers in Week 10, and this game promises to be awesome. However, neither Philly nor Green Bay has been all that special this offseason.
The Eagles have been streaky - the offense has yet to establish week-to-week consistency, but this team is also 6-2, and it’s hard to argue that. Philly began the year 4-0, lost two in a row, but then won their next two heading into the bye.
Jalen Hurts has not been great this year, but he’s only thrown one interception, and that has to be good for something. The defense is missing the pass rush juice they used to have, and even RB Saquon Barkley has seemingly lost a step.
Overall, Philly feels a lot closer to a 4-4 or 5-3 team, so I do believe their record is doing a lot of heavy-lifting here, but a win over the Packers in Week 10 would change how I feel about this team. Another NFC East title seems to also be in the cards.
4. Denver Broncos (8-2)
It’s hard to get a good read on the Denver Broncos, as this team has now won seven games in a row, but the offense has looked quite bad for the most part, and they only got into the end zone one time against the lowly Las Vegas Raiders.
Second-year QB Bo Nix appears to have regressed a bit this year, but he is still scoring a lot, if that is any consolation. The defense, though, is top-tier and plenty good enough to win the Super Bowl. It’s not hard to see just how good this team can be, as the offense really just needs to improve a little bit, and the Broncos will make a deep run.
With this latest win, Denver improves to 8-2 on the season and continue to stand atop the AFC West. In Week 11, the Broncos host the Kansas City Chiefs, who are on their bye in Week 10. Both Denver and KC will be coming off some extended rest, so these two clubs are going to be fresh.
If the Broncos are able to beat the Chiefs in Week 11 and enter their bye at 9-2 and send KC to 5-5 in the process, the AFC West title would be incredibly hard for Denver to not win. At the end of the day, an 8-2 record is an 8-2 record.
3. Indianapolis Colts (8-2)
This game was weird. The Indianapolis Colts took down the Atlanta Falcons in Berlin, but it was not without some drama. Jonathan Taylor ran wild in this game, rushing for 244 yards and three touchdowns, which is honestly three of four games worth of production in one afternoon. While Taylor was amazing, Daniel Jones was again not playing at his best.
He threw another interception and was sacked seven times. The Colts lost last week, and Jones did show some signs of the old QB he once was. Now doing it for the second game in a row, you have to wonder if the wheels are slowly but surely falling off.
That is absolutely something to keep an eye out for as the season goes on, but the Colts managed to eek out a win in overtime on a neutral site, moving to 8-2 on the season and keeping a strong pace to win the AFC South and earn the top seed in the conference.
Jonathan Taylor should be looked at as the MVP right now, as he’s doing the heavy-lifting here, and I would begin to be a little bit worried about Daniel Jones, who has not been great the past two weeks for Indy.
2. Los Angeles Rams (7-2)
The Los Angeles Rams took it to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 10, and this was such a huge win, as the Rams did lose the first game between these two teams earlier in the season, so a loss would have dropped LA to 6-3, improved San Fran to 7-3, and also given the Niners the season sweep.
This was a massive win for the Rams, and they come in as the no. 2 team in our power rankings, only trailing another top NFC West team, and if you ask me, the Rams and Seattle Seahawks could be the NFC Championship Game this year.
These are the two most complete teams in the NFL and are simply excellent at QB and have stellar coaching staffs. The Rams did win the Super Bowl back in the 2021 NFL Season and are in a position to make another Super Bowl run.
Matthew Stafford is playing the best football of his career and should probably be the MVP favorite alongside Jonathan Taylor of the Indianapolis Colts.
This Rams’ team here in 2025 could be better than the 2021 team that won it all, and I truly believe that.
1. Seattle Seahawks (7-2)
Alright, I am convinced. The Seattle Seahawks are the best team in the NFL and might not do a single thing poorly at this point. Another blowout win thrusts Seattle to the top of our latest power rankings.
The Seahawks are not only capable of winning the NFC West this year, but they could make a deep playoff run and even win the NFC. The defense is punishing and explosive, and the offense can rip the ball down the field and create big plays with ease.
QB Sam Darnold has been great thus far, and now at 7-2, the Seahawks are beginning to stack wins and give themselves a ton of wiggle room down the stretch here. I’ve said it before and I will say it again; I was wrong on the Seahawks and really did not see much to love going into the 2025 NFL Season.
It’s safe to say that I could not have been more wrong. Good for the Seahawks.
