The NFC has effectively flipped every offseason narrative on its head so far this season, looking like the far superior overall conference so far compared to the AFC. The reigning NFC and Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles are back on top of the conference, but a number of teams are right on their heels.

There are even a handful of teams within the NFC that have more losses at this point than expected, and they are arguably better than even the best teams in the AFC at this point.

In our latest NFL Power Rankings ahead of Week 11, we're going to be taking a look at the entire NFC and how each team stacks up right now after a wild 10 weeks of the NFL season. These rankings will obviously be based on what each team has done up to this point, but with a heavier emphasis on how each team has played in the past couple of weeks.

NFL Power Rankings, Week 11: Seahawks rise to top of NFC rankings

16. New York Giants

After surprisingly firing head coach Brian Daboll, the New York Giants take over the last spot on our weekly NFC Power Rankings. Obviously, the organization had reasons to move on from Daboll before Sunday's events, but the loss to the Bears in combination with the latest concussion for quarterback Jaxson Dart really pushed the organization's brass over the edge.

With Daboll gone and the best young core pieces of this team dealing with injuries, this is about as "down bad" as the Giants could possibly be. But the night is always darkest before the dawn. Or something.

15. New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints have been at the bottom of these rankings for the majority of the 2025 season, but after a win with young quarterback Tyler Shough under center, they get a one spot bump for at least a week. The Saints are trying to figure out if their franchise QB of the future is on the roster already, or if they're going to need to move on and get someone with their top pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.

As of right now, the Saints just gave up the #1 pick in next year's draft to the Tennessee Titans, who would be a huge threat to trade that pick to another team for the right to draft -- at this point -- Fernando Mendoza out of Indiana.

14. Washington Commanders

After reaching the NFC Championship Game just last season, the Washington Commanders took a couple of steps back this season. Not only are they bad in terms of their record right now (3-7), but they have been dealing with injuries to the worst possible player on the roster: Jayden Daniels.

Nobody wants to be dealing with injuries at the quarterback position, but least of all a team like the Commanders, whose quarterback is obviously one of the most talented in the entire league as a dual threat. The injuries to Daniels at this point are concerning, but everyone felt like the Commanders were ahead of schedule last year regardless. Development is not always linear in the NFL.

13. Atlanta Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons have now lost four straight games and it feels like they are maybe the most disappointing teams in the NFL so far this season. Not only are the Falcons struggling this year, but the development of Michael Penix Jr. just hasn't been there, and the organization doesn't have a 1st-round pick to work with in 2026.

It feels like it's going to get worse before it gets better. Luckily for the Falcons, there's still time left in this season. The Buccaneers do have three losses right now and are dealing with some injuries, and the Falcons have a chance to quickly get back to .500 with games against the Panthers, Saints, and Jets coming up next.

12. Arizona Cardinals

I think the Cardinals should honestly be a bit lower on this list. They are getting carried here by the win they had against the Cowboys a couple of weeks ago, but they aren't even good enough right now to be ranked above Dallas.

The decision by the Cardinals to bench Kyler Murray in favor of Jacoby Brissett felt right at the time, but it might turn out to be shortsighted decision by head coach Jonathan Gannon. They got absolutely dog-walked against the Seahawks in their last game and it just doesn't feel like you can really take this team seriously right now.

11. Dallas Cowboys

It's been a while since the Dallas Cowboys last played, but it hasn't been quite as long since they made some big splashes. The Cowboys lost on Monday Night Football to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 9, then followed that up by trading for linebacker Logan Wilson and defensive lineman Quinnen Williams. The Williams trade, in particular, was a blockbuster at the deadline.

Jerry Jones seems more and more inclined to make those wild trades. The Cowboys are running out of time. They have five losses this season, which is brutal in the NFC right now, but if those additions can give that defense a significant enough boost, this team should be one of the most interesting in the NFL in the second half.

10. Minnesota Vikings

After an absolutely shocking win against the Detroit Lions, the Vikings had to face off against Lamar Jackson and the Ravens, and couldn't find a way to win. That's understandable given the opponent, but any losses at this point feel critical for a Vikings team that is hanging on by a thread in its own division.

Not to mention, the Vikings are now dealing with yet another injury to quarterback JJ McCarthy. The next three weeks will make or break the season for the Vikings, who are now 4-5. They face off against the Bears in Minneapolis, then go on the road to play the Packers and Seahawks to close out the month of November.

9. Carolina Panthers

Just when I started to really buy the Carolina Panthers, we saw them fall completely flat against the New Orleans Saints. The offense for the Panthers has been explosive, especially in the running game, at times this season. It just hasn't been sustainably good at all. The Panthers rank 28th in the NFL in scoring offense, and they haven't scored more than 16 points in a game since October 12 against the brutal Dallas Cowboys defense.

The Panthers feel like a team that's capable of "finding ways" to win on a week-to-week basis, but do they have the firepower to beat teams like the Falcons, 49ers, and Rams coming up? I'm not buying it.

8. San Francisco 49ers

Obviously, the 49ers have been dealing with one bad injury after another this season. They should be getting Brock Purdy back soon, but is the quarterback position really the reason why this team got beat on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams. Mac Jones has been fantastic for the 49ers this season, and obviously, he's helped keep this team's ship afloat with Brock Purdy on the mend.

The 49ers just need to get healthy everywhere else on the roster, and not have to play against the best teams in the league every single week. Hey, speaking of -- the 49ers' next three games are against the Cardinals, Panthers, and Browns. Even with the Arizona and Cleveland games on the road, this is a chance for the 49ers to put pressure on the Rams and Seahawks.

7. Chicago Bears

In his first year as head coach of the Chicago Bears, Ben Johnson has his offense playing at a top-10 level overall. The Bears are the 7th-best scoring offense in the NFL, so that unit really isn't a major problem at this point. After giving up 52 points earlier this season against the Detroit Lions, it looked like the defense was going to be a huge issue, and then they turned things around.

But two weeks ago against the Bengals, they gave up 42 points and seemingly endless yards against Joe Flacco and company. The defense is a concern, but Chicago is making a run. They've only got one loss since mid-September, and they'll be kicking themselves for it, because it came against the Snoop Huntley-led Ravens.

6. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

After the 5-1 run the Cardiac Bucs went on to start off the 2025 season, they've found themselves in need of a bit of a jolt back to life in recent weeks. The Bucs have lost to the Lions and Patriots in two of the last three weeks, sandwiching a blowout win over the New Orleans Saints.

This Buccaneers team just doesn't have the same feel that we saw earlier in the season. They obviously can compete with anyone, but now they have to go on the road to face off against both the Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Rams in back-to-back weeks. That's not a great draw for this team trying to protect its division lead.

5. Green Bay Packers

We've started to see a bit of a disturbing trend with the Green Bay Packers' offense as of the last couple of weeks. NFL teams are allowed to struggle against good defenses, of course, but the Packers now have three games this season in which they have really struggled to put up points.

They scored 10 point against the Browns earlier this year in a loss. They scored just 13 points against the Panthers two weeks ago, also in a loss. On Monday night, they scored just seven points in a loss against the Eagles. An offensive juggernaut like the Packers, at least from what we've seen at times this season, should not be struggling that bad. There is at least a yellow light of concern with the Packers now after two straight losses and only 20 points scored in total.

4. Detroit Lions

I'm so torn on the Detroit Lions right now. Obviously, getting a big win this past weekend against the Commanders was a huge step in the right direction. Beating the Commanders doesn't carry the same weight as it might have last season, but for Detroit, it was representative of a number of things.

First of all, the offense looked like it had the get-right game it needed. Second, the team made a huge change with Dan Campbell calling plays instead of John Morton. Campbell will get a huge test in the chess game he now has to play against Philadelphia Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio. Things will not get any easier for Detroit but the NFC North is very much there for the taking. It'll be one of the best divisions to watch unfold in the second half of the season.

3. Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles just won a barn-burner against the Green Bay Packers on Monday night, and in the NFL, you're never going to apologize for winning. The Eagles have the best record in the NFC (tied for it at least), and if the season ended today, they'd be the #1 seed in the conference. But right now, they have a number of other really good teams nipping at their heels and playing better all-around football at this point in the season.

Still, this is an Eagles team that consistently finds ways to win, and they should be considered the biggest overall threat in the NFC regardless of how the standings play out. This team knows how to win in January, but are they going to be hitting a stride at the right time?

2. Seattle Seahawks

There is only one team in the NFL playing as good of complementary football in the NFL right now as the Seattle Seahawks. And it just so happens to be another team in their division. The Seahawks have looked like legitimate Super Bowl contenders this season with Sam Darnold at the quarterback position, and Mike Macdonald should be a front-runner for NFL Coach of the Year. He's done a tremendous job even with wholesale (and unpopular) changes on the offensive side of the ball.

Seattle has the ability to beat you in so many ways, and they got even stronger at the NFL trade deadline with the addition of Rashid Shaheed and his vertical speed at the wide receiver position. This team is legit.

1. Los Angeles Rams

No team in the NFL looks as good as the Los Angeles Rams right now. They are incredible. The only issue you could be looking at with the Rams is them peaking at the wrong time, but seeing them play like this, we all know what they are capable of when we get into the month of January.

At this point, I wouldn't be shocked to see the Rams run the table in the playoffs and win the whole thing. Sean McVay and Matthew Stafford have reached that pinnacle in the past, and obviously this is a team that's capable of doing it again.

They're on a four-game winning streak right now in which they have outscored opponents 128-46, an average victory in that timeframe of 32-12.
