There are nine teams in the NFL that have at least 10 wins, so the double-digit win teams are beginning to become more common as the regular season finishes. We are also approaching a scenario where there could be multiple teams with at least 10 wins that do not make the playoffs.
Back in 2024, there was just one team with double-digit wins that didn't make the playoffs, and it was the 10-7 Seattle Seahawks. In the coming weeks, we will see more playoff-clinching scenarios develop, and some heated divisional races could come to an end.
Now that Week 15 of the 2025 NFL Season is over, let's power rank these double-digit win teams. Who stands at the top?
Power ranking every double-digit win team in the NFL following Week 15 action
9. Los Angeles Chargers (10-4)
The Los Angeles Chargers have had some major offensive line concerns for weeks now, as both Joe Alt and Rashawn Slater have been out for the year. Without a strong offensive line, no NFL team is going to do any damage in the playoffs. Furthermore, quarterback Justin Herbert just has not played all that well this year and is putting the ball in harm's way a lot more than he used to. The Chargers are going to make the playoffs as a Wild Card team and are likely staring at another one-and-done season.
8. San Francisco 49ers (10-4)
The San Francisco 49ers have maxed out their roster talent thus far, as the team is again banged up, and even when this squad is healthy, the overall talent just is not overwhelming. Now sitting at 10-4 on the season, the Niners are actually still very much alive in the NFC West, but it feels unlikely. San Fran is a good team - they are not great by any means, but this has been a pretty successful season thus far, all things considered. San Fran is no. 8 in our power rankings.
7. Chicago Bears (10-4)
The Chicago Bears blew out the Cleveland Browns in Week 15 of the 2025 NFL Season, and with the Green Bay Packers losing to the Denver Broncos, the Bears are again in first place in the NFC North. Caleb Williams has been fine this year, but the completion percentage being below 60% is just not ideal. He's actually been virtually identical production-wise from his rookie season.
If nothing else, Williams does not throw many interceptions and doesn't really do anything to actively lose games. He's probably a franchise QB, but the Bears are still a year or so away from being a legitimate contender. It's been a great season thus far, though.
6. Jacksonville Jaguars (10-4)
The Jacksonville Jaguars' offense is heating up at the right time. Trevor Lawrence has played extremely well in recent weeks, tossing five touchdown passes against the New York Jets at home. The Jaguars obviously control their own destiny for the AFC South title, and they are indeed still alive for the no. 1 overall seed in the AFC if you can believe that.
The first year of the Liam Coen era has been great for the Jags. This team is set up well for the future, and there are a lot of great pieces to build on for the long-term here.
5. Seattle Seahawks (11-3)
The Seattle Seahawks actually got a bit of a scare from the Indianapolis Colts in Week 15, but a win is a win. Seattle is a great team and very well-rounded overall. Sam Darnold not being able to show up in big games could prematurely end their season, though.
4. Buffalo Bills (10-4)
The Buffalo Bills mounted a 21-point comeback against the New England Patriots and stayed alive in the AFC East race for the time being. Buffalo has had some defensive concerns this year, but Josh Allen is still Josh Allen, and the Bills could enter the playoffs with things on their side, as they have a ton of postseason experience compared to other teams we're going to see.
Buffalo is no. 4 in our power rankings.
3. New England Patriots (11-3)
The New England Patriots blew a 21-point lead to the Buffalo Bills at home, perhaps proving that they simply aren't there yet. The Patriots are still 11-3 despite the loss, but this team did have the AFC East locked up in the first half given how big the lead was.
Drake Maye was not great in Week 15, and despite his second-year breakout, you wonder if he'll be able to perform in big moments down the stretch. New England all of a sudden finds itself in a position where they have to now play their best football of the season to ensure the Buffalo Bills do not mount a massive comeback and take back the division yet again.
The Patriots are still an excellent team, so let's not overthink this at the end of the day.
2. Los Angeles Rams (11-3)
The Los Angeles Rams beat the Detroit Lions and moved to 11-3 on the season. Los Angeles became the first NFC team to clinch a playoff spot in the 2025 NFL Season. They are in first place right now and would earn that bye and homefield advantage throughout, which is ideal, obviously.
Matthew Stafford might just be the MVP of the NFL right now. He's absolutely been the best quarterback in the NFL this year, and it's nice to see the veteran getting all of this MVP love. He's closer to 40 than 35 at this point and is probably down to the final few years of his potential-Hall of Fame NFL career.
1. Denver Broncos (12-2)
The Denver Broncos have the best record in the NFL and are the best team in the league. Bo Nix was surgical against a very good Green Bay Packers' defense in Week 15 as Denver won their 11th game in a row. Not having lost since September, the Broncos are proving that they are for real and aren't some hollow team that is getting by with lucky outcomes.
Denver is in first place in the AFC right now and could wrap up the AFC West as early as Week 16 if they beat the Jaguars and if the Chargers lose to the Dallas Cowboys.
