There is no better example of why you should expect the unexpected in the NFL than what we saw go down in Week 6. The Eagles lost on Thursday night, the Broncos nearly got upset by the Jets, and the hapless Dolphins had the Chargers on the brink...until they didn't.

Our latest NFL Power Rankings are going to take a state of the league ahead of Week 7 action that is all-encompassing of what each team has shown up to this point, head-to-head matchups, and who might be passing the "eye test" at this stage. These rankings are going to come across somewhat similar to the way college football teams might be ranked on a week-to-week basis with quality of opponents factored slightly, each team's talent level, and a bit of projection.

We've got a lot to unpack, so let's dive right into this week's NFL Power Rankings.

Week 7 NFL Power Rankings: Eagles falling fast, Buccaneers vaulting into top-3

32. New York Jets

The New York Jets gave the Denver Broncos a run for their money overseas in London, but couldn’t pull a rabbit out of their hat in the 4th quarter.

And pulling a literal rabbit out of a hat might have been an easier task than completing a pass against the Denver Broncos’ defense. Justin Fields took nine sacks against Denver’s defense, and the Jets finished with -10 net passing yards. I mean, when you talk about an atrocity, that’s about as bad as it gets.

The Jets might have to find an alternative, because Fields was horrible out there. The Jets’ defense welcomed Jermaine Johnson back into the fold, and he had their lone sack in the game, but the offensive ineptitude is going to be impossible to overcome for this team long-term.

31. Tennessee Titans

The talent gap between the Titans and everyone they play is just evident every single week. Obviously, this team is not winless at this point, but even in their win, they literally needed the ball to bounce their way – multiple times – to get in the win column.

Nobody is under the illusion that this is some sort of perfect roster, by any stretch. What’s going to be fun to see is what the Titans and first-year GM Mike Borgonzi do to add some future draft capital at the trade deadline. I wouldn’t be surprised if teams come calling on Calvin Ridley, Chig Okonkwo, and maybe even players like Cody Barton on defense.

The Titans’ cupboard isn’t bare at this point, but they are one of those teams that you watch and you can just feel the lack of talent on that roster coming through your screen. It’s going to get worse before it gets better for Cam Ward, whose head coach for the long-term may also not be on that sideline right now.

30. Cleveland Browns

At this point, we all know what the Cleveland Browns are. This is a rebuilding team that is capable of an occasionally impressive defensive performance. Heck, the Browns’ signature win this year against the Packers might actually end up being one of the most impressive wins of the season when all is said and done. With that in mind, the Browns came crashing back to earth in a rough loss to the Steelers on Sunday.

If nothing else, the Browns are getting a good look at Dillon Gabriel after the trade sending Joe Flacco to the Cincinnati Bengals. Gabriel threw a whopping 52 passes against the Steelers on Sunday and took six sacks on top of it. Come to think of it, the fact that Gabriel threw 50-plus passes and was barely able to eclipse 200 yards probably speaks volumes.

Harold Fannin led the team in receiving, and Carson Schwesinger continues to look like a dude defensively.

This year is all about finding pieces this team can build around going forward, and the Browns are slowly finding those. Mason Graham and Schwesinger have been great, and the discovery process is going fine on offense. This team should be selling before the deadline pretty significantly.

29. Cincinnati Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals put up a better fight against the Green Bay Packers this weekend than expected, but the last-ditch effort with Joe Flacco at quarterback is off to an 0-1 start.

The Bengals brought Flacco in via trade with the Browns -- the first-ever trade between those two franchises, in hopes that he could at least get the playmakers involved. And to Flacco's credit, he was able to do that. But there is a ceiling on what he provides.

The Bengals made the deal to acquire Flacco when they did because they weren't going to throw in the towel on this season just like that after re-signing Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, Mike Gesicki, and Trey Hendrickson. This franchise has never spent so much money on players, so I get the process here. But ultimately, it feels like a half-hearted attempt at saving face more than it does doing whatever it takes to capitalize on the window you're in.

28. Baltimore Ravens

Who would have possibly thought that things could get this bad for the Baltimore Ravens? The Ravens are now 1-5 this season, and not only are they falling way behind in the AFC North race, but they just benched backup quarterback Cooper Rush after a dismal performance against the Los Angeles Rams.

The state of the Ravens, even considering the impact of a Lamar Jackson injury, is rather staggering.

The Ravens kept it close with the Rams in a defensive battle as long as they could, but the war on attrition has also significantly impacted the Baltimore defense so far this season. At this stage, you wonder if the Ravens are going to become sellers at the NFL trade deadline. They have a number of notable players on expiring contracts who could get them some decent value, but they probably won’t sell until the very last minute, if at all.

27. Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins snatched defeat from the jaws of victory on Sunday at home against the Los Angeles Chargers, and you can only wonder if that was the final straw for head coach Mike McDaniel.

There have been a ton of rumors floating around about McDaniel’s future with the Dolphins, and it just feels like he’s on the hottest seat of any head coach in the NFL right now, maybe right there alongside Titans head coach Brian Callahan. But this type of loss, especially the way it ended, and the game being played at home, is going to leave a terrible taste in the mouth of all the top decision-makers in the organization.

Miami’s comeback against the Chargers was admirable, but not being able to close the deal likely puts this team firmly in the “sell” mode at the trade deadline, and it would be a shocker if McDaniel is around to have to deal with it.

26. Las Vegas Raiders

It only took 6 games for Geno Smith to throw 10 interceptions this season, putting him on pace to blow away the 15 interceptions he threw last season. While Geno needs a couple of weeks in a row without throwing a pick, the Raiders got a much-needed win at home against the Titans in Week 6.

Michael Mayer stepped up nicely in the absence of superstar tight end Brock Bowers, who continues to deal with an injury, and Ashton Jeanty forced his way to 75 yards on a whopping 23 carries.

The Raiders were able to take advantage of just how sloppy and bad the Titans are, forcing three turnovers on the game overall and scoring seven points off the first, taking points off the board (in an end-of-half situation) on the second, and finishing the game with the third.

That’s got to be the formula for the Raiders going forward: Forcing turnovers. This Raiders team is a bit of a hodge-podge of failed former top picks and projects of the coaching staff, but sometimes, those teams can be really tough matchups. At 2-4, there’s a lot of climbing to be done for this team in the AFC West, but this was a start.

25. New Orleans Saints

This feels like it might have been a “last straw” type of game for the New Orleans Saints. On Sunday morning, before all the action got going, NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport went on TV and said that the Saints actually approached running back Alvin Kamara and asked if he wanted to be in New Orleans or if he would rather they explored a trade.

Something is bubbling beneath the surface for this team, and we could see a mass exodus before the November 4 trade deadline.

For the time being, the Saints continue to show some fight under Kellen Moore. I think it’s safe to say that this team is getting graded on a bit of a curve each week based on the preseason expectations of this team, but the results have been pretty much what everyone expected in the win-loss column.

24. Arizona Cardinals

After another loss, the Arizona Cardinals now find themselves a disappointing 2-4 and way behind the rest of the NFC West. There are some folks out there calling for Jonathan Gannon to lose his job, but I’m not sure we’re quite there yet. If the Cardinals can climb out of this hole, which they still have time to do, Gannon can get back on the good graces of the fan base (and perhaps the organization).

Until that happens, however, the expectation of the Cardinals making a jump this season appear to have been premature.

Arizona’s loss in Week 6 came at the hands of Gannon’s old pal and fellow former Eagles assistant Shane Steichen, and it’s clear based on this matchup that these two guys have teams trending in completely opposite directions. The Arizona offense actually didn’t look too bad with Jacoby Brissett out there in place of the injured Kyler Murray, either…

23. Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys’ offense giveth, and the Dallas Cowboys’ defense taketh…

After giving up 30 points to the Carolina Panthers in Week 6, the Cowboys have now allowed 30 or more points in four of their last five games. They have allowed 24 or more points in five of their first six games. The only game in which the Cowboys gave up less than 24 was last week in a win against the New York Jets.

The Jets are the same team that just had -10 net passing yards in London against the Denver Broncos.

This Dallas offense is too strong for this team to falter because of the defense. Now at 2-3-1 this season, the Cowboys are just trying to keep pace with the rest of their division. The Giants have shown signs of life, the Commanders are coming on, and the Eagles are still the Eagles. Dallas’s matchup this coming week against Washington is going to be season-altering, for better or worse.

22. New York Giants

As the 2025 offseason went along, we talked on a variety of occasions how the New York Giants couldn’t spend too much time this season on the Russell Wilson experiment. Unless he was playing at an elite level, there’s virtually no reason to sacrifice the opportunity to get Jaxson Dart time on task.

Now, six games into the 2025 season, it’s clear that even three weeks of a Russell Wilson experiment were worthless for the Giants. Jaxson Dart is a stud, and he got his first signature win against an NFC East opponent with the Giants kind of taking it to the Eagles on a short week.

The Giants got such great contributions from their rookie class last year, and it’s wild to see that happen again in 2025 without the 2024 class making the same level of impact alongside them. No Malik Nabers puts a damper on the long-term outlook here, but the play of Dart and Cam Skattebo gives the Giants a chance to be a fun team in the NFC.

21. Houston Texans

Texans were on a bye week in Week 6

After playing a tough trio of games to start the year against the Rams, Buccaneers, and Jaguars, the Texans had a couple of much-needed “get right” games in Week 4 and 5 against the Titans and Ravens.

In the NFL, there’s no such thing as playing a Division II cupcake, but playing against a rookie quarterback on the worst roster in the league, as well as the beaten and broken Ravens, is about as close as it gets. And for Houston, it was a desperately needed bit of proof that this team can still play at an elite level. They’ve used the last two games against the Titans and Ravens to establish themselves as the #1 scoring defense in the NFL, and we’ve seen CJ Stroud and the offense execute much better than the first three weeks.

It’s fair to still be skeptical of the Texans at this point, but they’ll get a much better test coming out of the bye week, going on the road to face off against the Seahawks.

20. Minnesota Vikings

Vikings were on a bye week in Week 6

The bye week being so early in the season is usually a major inconvenience, but for the Minnesota Vikings, it probably couldn’t have been more perfectly timed. The Vikings spent two weeks overseas with games against the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns, and they’ve got to feel pretty good about coming away 1-1 with backup Carson Wentz starting both games.

The impact of head coach Kevin O’Connell cannot be overstated for the Vikings and the way he’s managed his roster over the past few years makes him worth his weight in gold (and then some). This team is going to be a problem all year thanks to O’Connell, and maybe no thanks to injuries and offensive personnel.

The Vikings are missing a number of key starters, and they’ll come out of the bye week playing the Eagles on extended rest. That will be a major test.

19. Atlanta Falcons

Falcons play Monday night vs. Bills

Coming off of a Week 5 bye, the Atlanta Falcons have a really good opportunity before them with a home game against the Buffalo Bills on Monday night. At this point, though, it’s kind of impossible to figure out “what” this Falcons team is.

They beat the Jayden Daniels-less Washington Commanders in Week 4, but they got shut out by the Panthers in Week 3. They absolutely dominated the JJ McCarthy-led Vikings in Week 2, but the defense has struggled to atone for the offense’s inconsistency so far.

What we saw most recently from the Falcons was great balance offensively and getting a lot of different guys involved in the offense. If they can keep that up and keep Bijan Robinson hot, they’re going to be tough to beat. And Michael Penix Jr.’s job is a lot easier.

18. Carolina Panthers

You’ve got to tip your cap to Dave Canales, whose team just keeps on fighting. The Panthers are now 3-3 this season after a stunning win against the Dallas Cowboys, in which Rico Dowdle put bulletin board material out there and then backed it up.

Dowdle has been a catalyst for the Panthers winning their past couple of games as he ran for over 200 yards last week, and then had a whopping 183 rushing yards on 30 carries for the Panthers this week. Not only that, but Dowdle led the Panthers with 56 yards receiving and a touchdown against his old team.

The Panthers are quietly putting something impressive together and Canales has his guys playing great “team” football. There’s no other way to put it. The defense still had some lapses against Dallas, but they made just enough plays to win and get to .500.

17. Chicago Bears

Bears play Monday night vs. Commanders

Just before they hit their bye week in Week 5, the Chicago Bears were playing some really improved football, especially offensively. We’ve already seen both ends of the extreme for this team defensively in the 2025 season, as the Chicago defense has allowed 52 points to the Lions and collapsed badly in Week 1 against the Vikings, but then they played great against the Dallas Cowboys’ high-flying offense.

The Bears’ showdown on Monday night against Jayden Daniels and the Commanders will be fun, but it will also teach us a lot about the working relationship between Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams. With so much time to prepare for an opponent, the expectation should be for the Bears to come out looking really sharp offensively, and for Williams to match Daniels play-for-play.

16. Jacksonville Jaguars

The last seven days have been a bit of a whirlwind for Jacksonville Jaguars fans. I don’t care what the Chiefs’ record is, if you can get a win against Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid in primetime, you’re feeling good about yourself. The Jaguars were able to seal the deal on Monday night with one of the funniest game-winning touchdowns you’ll ever see (Trevor Lawrence falling after the ball was snapped), but they couldn’t follow up that performance properly against the Seahawks.

Playing at home, the Jaguars struggled with protection (Lawrence was sacked six times) and mistakes offensively. Brian Thomas Jr. had a horrendous drop against Seattle, and the Jaguars had a brutal 10 penalties in this one. It just wasn’t a good performance coming off of an emotional win, and now the Jags are feeling the pressure with the Colts getting their 5th win of the season in Week 6.

15. San Francisco 49ers

I really don’t want to bury the 49ers like this, but there is a little bit of projecting involved in these rankings as well as considering every team’s body of work at this point. Realistically speaking, we’ve doubted the 49ers plenty because of their plethora of injuries this season, but the latest might be the straw that broke the camel’s back.

Losing Fred Warner to an absolutely devastating injury, one nobody wants to see, is yet another massive blow to this 49ers defense. The 49ers are already dealing with the loss of star pass rusher Nick Bosa, and now Warner is out?

It’s not looking good for the 49ers, who continue to show fight with Mac Jones under center. In the long term, Jones has probably made himself a bunch of money. The 49ers will get a chance to bounce back against the Falcons next and a matchup with old friend DeMeco Ryans after that.

14. Los Angeles Chargers

The Los Angeles Chargers made it interesting against the Miami Dolphins, but ultimately, Justin Herbert was able to put the team on his back when it mattered most.

In a more literal sense, Herbert won the game for the Chargers with Jaelan Phillips on his back. The Dolphins’ pass rusher was draped all over Herbert for a sack when Herbert pulled off a disappearing act, got outside the pocket, and found Ladd McConkey for a huge gain to set up Cameron Dicker’s game-winning field goal.

When it comes to the injuries the Chargers are dealing with, you just can’t help but wonder at what point they are going to slide a bit. But for now, the Chargers are still in the driver’s seat of the AFC West at 4-2 (with the Broncos knocking at the door) and a 4-0 record against AFC teams this season.

13. New England Patriots

It’s rare that you see a plan come together so seamlessly, but for the New England Patriots, pretty much everything is going according to plan at this point, isn’t it?

The return of Josh McDaniels has been huge for the offense as a whole. Drake Maye has taken the next step in his game overall, maybe even a couple of steps. Mike Vrabel’s impact as a head coach is being felt substantially. Stefon Diggs is playing like it’s 2021.

And more important than anything else, the Patriots have let the Buffalo Bills know that they’ve arrived, and already beat their division rivals this season. A win on Sunday against the Saints pushed this team to 4-2 on the season, and this New England team is firmly a threat in the AFC, which started slow as a conference but has picked things up as of late.

12. Kansas City Chiefs

After the Chiefs blew it late against the Jacksonvile Jaguars on Monday night, it looked like they were getting arguably the worst possible draw at the worst possible time with the Lions coming to town on Sunday.

And then the Chiefs did what the Chiefs do. They responded in a big situation against a great team, and kind of had their way with the Lions. It was a great effort from Kansas City on both sides of the ball with Patrick Mahomes spreading the ball around, Travis Kelce making some outstanding plays, and Kansas City's second level of defense (Nick Bolton, Leo Chenal, and Drue Tranquill) making a massive impact on the game.

The Chiefs are still 3-3 this season, so we're not going to throw them into the top 10 again just yet, but they are on their way back. They have the Raiders and Commanders next before going on the road to face Buffalo.

When Mahomes plays like we saw on Sunday against the Lions, this Chiefs team is an obvious favorite in the AFC.

11. Philadelphia Eagles

After losing just one game in their previous 20 going into last Sunday’s matchup against the Denver Broncos, the Philadelphia Eagles have now shockingly lost two games in a row and are, dare I say, reeling.

There is more than just losing on the field that the Eagles have to worry about right now. You’ve got a disgruntled pair of superstar wide receivers. The losses this team sustained on the defensive front in the 2025 offseason are officially making an impact, and obviously in a negative way. Now, we’re seeing the war on attrition get to the Eagles in other ways, with Quinyon Mitchell’s injury on Thursday night raising new levels of long-term concern for this team.

The Eagles need this break to refocus after a loss on the road against Jaxson Dart and the Giants. There’s so much time left this season for the Eagles to right the ship, but they’ve got a lot of issues right now offensively that have to be corrected fast.

10. Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos traveled to London immediately after their win last week against the Philadelphia Eagles, and they still looked a little jet-lagged on Sunday morning. Well, to be fair, Sean Payton and some of his staff looked jet-lagged. The Broncos’ defense put together a marvelous performance that shouldn’t go unnoticed.

The Broncos had nine sacks of Justin Fields in this particular game, giving them 30 sacks so far this season, which would put them on pace to shatter the NFL all-time record for a team.

Offensively, the Broncos seemingly had the Jets on the ropes multiple times in this one, but penalties and horrendous play-calling from Payton limited them overall. Whether or not the Broncos are a true contender remains to be seen. They need to be more consistent offensively, which might require some adjustments from Payton.

9. Washington Commanders

Commanders play Monday night vs. Bears

The Washington Commanders might not have the most impressive roster in the loaded NFC, but they are just one of those teams that is a great sum of all its parts. They play complementary football. Dan Quinn gets the most out of his guys, Kliff Kingsbury is clearly a great offensive coordinator, and this Commanders team looks like it’s going to be able to make some noise in the NFC East after the Eagles have faltered a little bit.

This is the Commanders’ chance to push for a division title. They’ve got a tough task going up against a Bears team that’s had extended rest and ample time to prepare coming off of a bye, but now is Jayden Daniels’ opportunity to prove he’s truly one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL.

The pressure is on this Washington team tremendously, and getting to 4-2 against the Bears would go a long way toward helping this team believe it can overthrow Philadelphia as NFC East champs.

8. Seattle Seahawks

Going on the road and playing on the East Coast is never an easy task for West Coast teams (as I’ve mentioned a million times before), but the Seattle Seahawks went into Jacksonville and halted the momentum of the previously hot Jaguars.

The Jaxon Smith-Njigba takeover is real. I don’t understand why teams in the NFL are overthinking Ohio State receivers at this point, but both Smith-Njigba and Emeka Egbuka lasting past the 10th overall pick is ridiculous.

The Seahawks won’t be complaining anytime soon as Smith-Njigba racked up 162 receiving yards on eight receptions with a touchdown, and he’s quickly become Sam Darnold’s new favorite target in Seattle.

The Seahawks sacked Trevor Lawrence a whopping seven times in this game as well, but need to address third-down efficiency going forward. They were just 1-of-12 against Jacksonville on Sunday.

7. Los Angeles Rams

Nobody said wins in the NFL have to be aesthetically pleasing, and the Rams didn’t win “pretty” on the road against the Ravens in Week 6. But if you had told the Rams going into the year that they were going to Baltimore and win by 14 points, they probably would have taken that scenario with no questions asked.

The Rams had issues in this game as far as Matthew Stafford losing a fumble and six penalties. They also struggled to run the ball and finished with just 74 yards on the ground. But again, coming off of that loss against the 49ers last Thursday, the Rams would have probably taken any sort of win to get back on track.

Now, the Rams will head off to London to face off against the Jaguars next week with a great chance to get to 5-2 and keep pace with the Seahawks. Something to monitor this whole week will be the status of Puka Nacua, who had a foot injury against the Ravens.

6. Pittsburgh Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers came out of their bye week and got a relatively stress-free win against the Cleveland Browns in Week 6. And that may be somewhat of a theme for Pittsburgh going forward:

Stress-free.

This year is going to be the final season in the NFL for Aaron Rodgers. As of right now, it looks like Rodgers is going to be able to help the Steelers coast to a division title. They are 4-1 now after beating the Browns by a final score of 23-9, and Rodgers had himself another pair of touchdown passes, including one to his new #1 target DK Metcalf.

There is still plenty for Pittsburgh to clean up after this one, including committing 10 penalties (4 of which resulted in first downs for the Browns). There are no “gimmes” in the NFL, but the Steelers will face a beaten-up Bengals team next week before a gauntlet of games against the Packers, Colts, and Chargers.

Again, the theme is stress-free, but only because of the distance the Steelers have created in the AFC North early this season. That gap can close in a hurry.

5. Indianapolis Colts

At this point, I just don’t know how you can ignore what the Indianapolis Colts are doing. The Colts are 5-1 this season and they’ve been outstanding now for the better part of the last two months with Daniel Jones at the helm.

It might have been one of the most improbable of the possibilities going into the season, but it’s the reality we’re living in.

Part of what makes this Colts team so special is beyond just the way Jones is playing, but how awesome Jonathan Taylor has been as well. The Colts have so many good playmakers on the offensive side of the ball, and the guys they have are all stepping up so far this season. With the kind of balance we’ve seen from the Colts already this season, it would be a shocker to see them really cool off. There are too many guys to pick up the slack, and Shane Steichen has done an awesome job with this roster. He won the battle of former Eagles coordinators against Jonathan Gannon, so he’s also got bragging rights.

4. Green Bay Packers

The Packers might have gotten a little dejá vu going up against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 6, thanks to the Bengals making a trade to acquire Joe Flacco. Flacco was already part of an upset of the Packers this season while he was starting for the Cleveland Browns, but lightning did not strike the same place twice.

The Packers handled Flacco in his first start with the Bengals, even though the Bengals kind of made things interesting in the second half. Coming off of a bye week, the Packers were a little sloppy. They gave the Bengals three free first downs in this game via penalties and Jordan Love’s interception was the game’s only turnover.

But ultimately, Josh Jacobs was too much for the Bengals to handle late in this game. Maybe the most exciting for the Packers and their fans in this game was the explosive element added by rookie Matthew Golden. Golden had a career-high 102 yards from scrimmage on just five touches. He’s been unlocked.

3. Detroit Lions

Back in Week 1, the Detroit Lions got their teeth knocked in by the Green Bay Packers. I get it that it feels wrong a little bit for Packers fans to have the Lions above Green Bay in these power rankings, but the overall body of work is a little better for Detroit at this point.

The Lions just got smacked around a little bit on Sunday night against the Kansas City Chiefs, and even with Kansas City entering that game at 2-3 on the season, you're not holding that one against Detroit too much.

Yes, you'd love to see the Lions show up and show out better than what they did, but Patrick Mahomes was locked in and Detroit couldn't do much about that Kansas City offense. I'm still very much buying this Lions team going forward and how dynamic that offense is capable of being. The Chiefs playing at home with their backs against the wall is a tough draw. It's not going to get any easier with the Bucs on deck, followed by the Vikings, Commanders, and Eagles. This gauntlet will test the Lions in a big way.

2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The “Cardiac Bucs” are not called upon when you’re able to win the game by double digits. But the Bucs were still clutch against the battered and broken 49ers.

Baker Mayfield continues to play like an MVP with another pair of touchdown passes as well as no interceptions, and Mayfield is cooking with all the ingredients in the kitchen. We saw touchdowns this week from rookie Tez Johnson as well as Kameron Johnson, who led the team in receiving yards.

The Bucs just have so many ways to beat you right now, it doesn’t feel fair. Todd Bowles’s defense came through with some clutch plays against 49ers QB Mac Jones, including a couple of interceptions that led to 10 points in an 11-point win. We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, but the Bucs are very clearly contenders in the NFC this year, especially with Mayfield taking care of the ball better than he ever has in the NFL.

1. Buffalo Bills

Bills play Monday night vs. Falcons

The long-term projection for the Bills isn’t changing at all. Now that we’re at Week 6, the Bills are close to getting a couple of reinforcements for their defensive front with Larry Ogunjobi and Michael Hoecht set to come off of suspensions soon.

Buffalo lost to the Patriots last Sunday night, and that loss undoubtedly left a bad taste in their mouths. It’s the latest bit of proof that this team cannot let its guard down all year. They want the AFC to run through Buffalo, and has there ever been a clearer chance for that to happen? The Chiefs already have more losses than all of last year. The Ravens are depleted and broken right now.

Buffalo has a chance to go on the road against the Falcons and atone for their mistakes against the Patriots. They’ve got to take advantage of the opportunity that’s before them in the AFC.
