After the conclusion of the 2023 NFL regular season, the top 10 picks of the 2024 NFL Draft have officially been set. What does the top 10 look like? Fourteen teams have clinched playoff spots now and the seeding has been officially set as well. The other 18 teams will try and figure out how to get back into the postseason.

The two longest playoff drought streaks in the NFL belong to the New York Jets and the Denver Broncos. In the 2024 NFL Draft, there is really a ton of uncertainty, and much of that surrounds the Chicago Bears and their decision with the No. 1 overall pick, which they got from the Carolina Panthers.

What the Bears do with that top pick will have a huge impact on the rest of the first round. Let's take a look at what the top 10 picks in the 2024 NFL Draft look like with the order officially being set.

2024 NFL Draft: Top 10 picks are officially set
10. New York Jets

I think it's pretty obvious what position the New York Jets select with their first-round pick. To me, it has to be an offensive tackle or wide receiver, two positions that were huge weaknesses for the Jets in 2024, and both make life for Aaron Rodgers easier.

9. Chicago Bears

See the No. 1 overall pick for analysis on the Chicago Bears first-round draft picks in 2024.

8. Atlanta Falcons

Three-straight years, three-straight 7-10 seasons. The Atlanta Falcons have become the model of consistency but in a bad way. The Falcons desperately need a franchise QB, as Desmond Ridder did not take that leap in year two.

7. Tennessee Titans

The Tennessee Titans definitely need to add some help on offense, and I think they are going to roll with Will Levis for year two. Getting Levis some help along the offensive line and at wide receiver is going to be a huge priority for this team.

6. New York Giants

The New York Giants won nine games last year and managed to scrape by with six wins this year. It's clear that injuries played a huge part in the Giants' lack of success, but not having a good roster was also a huge issue.

5. Los Angeles Chargers

The Los Angeles Chargers have a decent QB in Justin Herbert. This next regime is going to be all about getting the host out of Herbert before he gets frustrated and wants to leave. Adding some help at wide receiver and getting the defense fixed are huge things on their to-do list in 2024.

4. Arizona Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals won four games this year but were a very frisky team that could upset anyone. The Cardinals have their franchise quarterback and are clearly missing a ton of talent. This was going to be a lean year for the Cardinals, so look for them to take another step in 2024. I think the 2025 season is going to be the year for the Cardinals.

3. New England Patriots

The New England Patriots desperately need a franchise QB. There is no saving Mac Jones or trying to make it work. It'd be best for Jones and New England to get a fresh start. The Pats are also severely lacking talent at wide receiver and along their offensive line. That seems to be a trend among many teams picking inside the top 10.

2. Washington Commanders

The Commanders fired Ron Rivera on Monday in a move that I do not think should have happened in the first place. Rivera is probably going to be replaced by an offensive-minded coach. Washington started Sam Howell this year, but Howell put the ball in harm's way too often.

1. Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears have a ton of control in the 2024 NFL Draft. If they decide to stick it out with Justin Fields, they would likely trade down from this selection, adding way more draft capital, and adding more talent. They could also trade Justin Fields for a draft pick and take a QB with the No. 1 pick. They would be wise to move on from Fields, who has not developed into a franchise passer.

The Bears have a ton of cap space and would get the privilege of resetting their quarterback contract by drafting a rookie. Getting a cost-controlled rookie passer is one of the biggest advantages in all of sports.
