Does mock draft season ever go away? Probably not. Let's dive into this 2025 NFL mock draft, which is two rounds long and includes trades. The 2024 NFL Draft only ended about two months ago, but here we are rolling out 2025 mock drafts.
One thing seems certain in 2025; the QB class does not appear to be nearly as talented as 2024's, so that could lead to some drama at the top of next year's draft. With six quarterbacks going in the first round, that could pave the way for some new QB-needy teams to make some noise in 2025. There is still so much unknown, but it never hurts to try and get a pulse on what other teams might do.
Another wrinkle that could impact the 2025 NFL Draft are some of the same teams picking high. Teams like the Patriots and Commanders picked in the top three this year and both took QBs. Both teams could end up being in line for some struggles in 2024, which could propel them to the top of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Let's try to make some sense of what could happen with this two-round 2025 NFL Mock Draft.
2024 NFL mock draft: Entire two round mock draft predictions
1. Carolina Panthers - Carson Beck, QB, Georgia
There is nothing tying the new regime in Carolina to Bryce Young. Former GM Scott Fitterer made this selection in he 2023 NFL Draft, and if Young cannot show enough in year two, I would not be shocked to see the Panthers reset at the position with Carson Beck, who is clearly the best QB in the country heading into next season.
2. Tennessee Titans - Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
Will Levis was nothing special as a prospect coming out of college, and with the current offensive personnel situation in Tennessee, it’s easy to see why Levis might have a rough year two in the NFL. Titans GM Ran Carthon might see a higher ceiling and better overall prospect in Shedeur Sanders from Colorado, who, despite the unwanted attention his father brings, is a darn good football player.
3. New England Patriots - Luther Burden, WR, Missouri
The New England Patriots could also go with a tackle here, but they cannot resist Luther Burden from Missouri, who is likely the best WR in the country. The Patriots will still need to address their offensive line later in the 2025 NFL Draft.
4. Arizona Cardinals (via DEN) - Deone Walker, DT, Kentucky
The Arizona Cardinals trade inside the top-5 with the Denver Broncos, and take Deone Walker from Kentucky, who could be the first defensive tackle off the board in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Cardinals need another strong offseason to improve their roster to get back into relevancy.
5. Las Vegas Raiders - Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State
The Las Vegas Raiders are in no man’s land here. There isn’t another QB on the board who can warrant a top-5 selection, so they’ll opt to beef up their defensive front under new head coach Antonio Pierce. Abdul Carter joins Christian Wilkins and Maxx Crosby on the Raiders DL.
6. Seattle Seahawks (via NYG) - Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona
The Seattle Seahawks are in a similar boat as the Las Vegas Raiders, kind of in no man’s land. With Tyler Lockett getting older and perhaps an uncertain future with DK Metcalf, the Seahawks opt to boost their WR room with Tetairoa McMillian from Arizona.
Seattle could go in a number of directions with their first-round draft pick. Them moving on from QB Geno Smith and trying to reset at the position is something that is in play. However, there isn't a clear-cut QB available for them with the sixth overall pick.
7. Denver Broncos (via ARI) - Mason Graham, DT, Michigan
Trading down a few slots, the Denver Broncos fill a huge need and get a stud defensive tackle prospect in Mason Graham. Another small win here is that Graham did play for Jim Harbaugh, so perhaps the Chargers had him on their own radar. Well, Sean Payton and the Broncos decide to make sure that doesn’t happen.
The team would then hope for QB Bo Nix to make a year two leap in 2025.
8. Washington Commanders - Will Johnson, CB, Michigan
Another stud defensive player from Michigan, the Washington Commanders opt to beef up their secondary with Will Johnson, who is easily the best cornerback in this year’s class. With Dan Quinn running the show, you can expect he’ll be pounding the table for a defensive prospect after the team did take Jayden Daniels in the 2024 NFL Draft.
9. New Orleans Saints - James Pearce Jr, EDGE, Tennessee
The New Orleans Saints simply need a rebuild, so they need to get young and cheap talent on both sides of the ball. James Pearce Jr being available to them with the ninth overall pick is something that the front office cannot pass up. If the Saints have another disappointing season, I would not be surprised to see GM Mickey Loomis lose his job.
10. Minnesota Vikings - Walter Nolen, DT, Ole Miss
The Minnesota Vikings might be on the doorstep of being a competitive team. They did take JJ McCarthy in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft and do have a solid roster on both sides of the ball. General Manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah might be on the cusp of building a great team, and one way to finish that off is to ensure his team is strong in the trenches, so with the 10th overall pick, they opt to beef that unit up with Walter Nolen.
11. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers did have a surprisingly good season in 2023, winning nine games, the NFC South title, and a playoff game. They re-signed both Baker Mayfield and Mike Evans, so they clearly want to run this thing back. Tampa also traded CB Carlton Davis to the Detroit Lions, so they could use some help in that unit.
12. New York Giants (via SEA) - Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado
Who knows what position Travis Hunter is going to play in the NFL. Only time will tell what position is best for his long-term viability in this league. The New York Jets have done a nice job at re-tooling this roster to go all-in with Aaron Rodgers, but Jets GM Joe Douglas cannot neglect building the team for the long-term as well.
Travis Hunter could end up being one of the very best NFL Draft prospects next year.
13. Indianapolis Colts - Harold Perkins, LB, LSU
The Indianapolis Colts may have something cooking on offense with Shane Steichen and Anthony Richardson, who missed most of his rookie season. I would expect the Colts offense to be prolific in 2024, but their defense is still a bit of a question mark. GM Chris Ballard puts what could be the finishing touches on the defense with a first-round ILB in Harold Perkins.
14. Pittsburgh Steelers - Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State
A wide receiver! It’s no secret that the Pittsburgh Steelers have been searching far and wide for an upgrade at wide receiver, and perhaps they are not able to trade for one now or during the 2024 NFL Season. The best long-term play here might be to target a first-round WR in the 2025 NFL Draft, and Emeka Egbuka comes from a very prolific WR school in Ohio State.
15. Jacksonville Jaguars - Earnest Greene III, OT, Georgia
The Jacksonville Jaguars just extended Trevor Lawrence on a contract worth $55 million per season, clearly banking on him cementing himself as an elite QB, whenever that may be. Well, they can give him some upgrades at tackle and could star with Earnest Greene III from Georgia. I tend to believe their tackle situation is less stable than their iOL situation.
16. Cleveland Browns - Kelvin Banks Jr, OT, Texas
The Cleveland Browns are another team that has a bit of a shaky tackle situation, so I do not think this is a bad idea here. The bigger story for the Browns heading into 2024 is whether or not QB Deshaun Watson can return to his old form. At the moment, it does not look like he will, so this could force the Browns to make a huge decision with their QB spot.
In the meantime, they will look to stabilize their tackle situation with Kelvin Banks Jr from Texas.
17. Los Angeles Rams - Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan
The Los Angeles Rams had apparently wanted to trade up to select Brock Bowers during the 2024 NFL Draft, but they weren’t able to. Well, LA can see if Colston Loveland from Michigan can be their go-to guy at this position.
With how well the Rams have drafted recently, Loveland could be another home-run pick.
18. Los Angeles Chargers - Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan
Jim Harbaugh simply cannot help himself by taking players from Michigan. The LA Chargers don’t have as good of a roster as you might think, and I don’t believe this team is going to be a playoff club in 2024.
There are valid concerns about Justin Herbert, and LA needs another strong offseason next year to get in a good place where they can indeed compete for the postseason.
19. Chicago Bears - Princely Umanmielen, EDGE, Ole Miss
Ideally, Caleb Williams plays well enough in his rookie season to give the Chicago Bears every single reason to go all-in and build around the player. Chicago could still currently use another body along the defensive front, but perhaps addressing this need in the first-round of the 2025 NFL Draft is a wiser move.
They used their two first-round picks on Rome Odunze and Williams in 2024, so maybe 2025 will be all about the defense.
20. Atlanta Falcons - Denzel Burke, CB, Ohio State
It’s hard to justify what the Atlanta Falcons did at quarterback this offseason with some gaping holes on defense. Well, Kirk Cousins should at least keep them relevant enough to stay in the playoff chase. GM Terry Fontenot should look to bolster the backend of the defense which still needs a good bit of help.
Denzel Burke is the selection here with the 20th overall pick.
21. Miami Dolphins - Malaki Starks, S, Georgia
The Miami Dolphins continue to load up this offseason. Well, next year, they could have another long-term need on the backend at both cornerback and safety. To pair up with stud safety Jevon Holland, they take Malaki Starks from Georgia.
Miami Dolphins Chris Grier may have an opening this season to capture the AFC East title over the Buffalo Bills. He's loaded up on the defensive side of the ball with a slew of veteran players, and has also made some respectable decisions in the NFL Draft as well.
22. Dallas Cowboys (via GB) - Quinshon Judkins, RB, Ohio State
The Dallas Cowboys simply cannot help themselves. Instead of taking an actual positon worthy of a first-round pick, they trade up a few spots with the Green Bay Packers and decide that RB Quinshon Judkins from Ohio State is the answer to their recent woes.
Jerry Jones just cannot learn his lesson, can he? Currently, Jones needs to figure out how to navigate the contract situations with Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, and Micah Parsons.
23. Cincinnati Bengals (via NYJ) - Nic Scourton, EDGE, Texas A&M
The Cincinnati Bengals may end up having some turnover in the near future along their defensive front, so they traded up a few spots with the New York Jets to select Nic Scourton from Texas A&M. Can the Bengals get back to the Super Bowl in the Joe Burrow era?
24. Houston Texans - Tyleik Williams, DT, Ohio State
The Houston Texans clearly know how to build a winning football team. GM Nick Caserio has this machine humming on all cylinders. Well, he should continue to keep his philosophy present, so continuing to prioritize the trenches is a smart idea. With their first-round pick, the Texans will take Tyleik Williams from Ohio State.
25. Green Bay Packers (via DAL) - Tyler Onyedim, DT, Iowa State
Trading down a few slots with the Dallas Cowboys, the Green Bay Packers could be coming off an amazing season heading into the 2025 NFL Draft. In 2024, the young Packers team made a run to the NFC Divisional Round, taking down the Cowboys in the Wild Card round and giving the San Francisco 49ers a tough time.
It’s no exaggeration to suggest that the Packers could be a dark-horse Super Bowl team in 2025. If so, expect them to add as much talent as possible.
26. Philadelphia Eagles - Barrett Carter, LB, Clemson
The Philadelphia Eagles have had some inconsistencies at the inside linebacker position for some time now. If nothing else, you cannot fault GM Howie Roseman for just how aggressive he is in trying to fix his team year after year.
In 2023, it seemed to not be a shortage of talent, but instead some deficiencies at the offensive and defensive coordinator positions. Nonetheless, they still need some help at LB, so Barrett Carter is the pick here.
27. New York Jets (via CIN) - Evan Stewart, WR, Oregon
The New York Jets decided to trade down a few slots and will take Evan Stewart from Oregon. We’ll see what position the Jets are in at this point next year, but I truly do not believe Aaron Rodgers has any intentions of retiring, and I think he’ll hold the Jets hostage as their starting QB for as long as he wants.
If that is the case, it would be wise for the Jets to continue invest on the offensive side of the ball.
28. Buffalo Bills - Nic Anderson, WR, Oklahoma
The Buffalo Bills need to keep rebuilding their WR room, so they’ll again use a top pick on a wide receiver, but this time, it’ll be Nic Anderson from Oklahoma. The Bills do need some extra bodies along the defensive line and in the secondary, but GM Brandon Beane opts to give Josh Allen another weapon.
And I would not at all fault him, as Josh Allen is a turnover-happy player who was at his best in Buffalo with an elite wide receiver.
29. Detroit Lions - Dani Dennis-Sutton, EDGE, Penn State
The Detroit Lions might be able to go in a number of directions with their first-round pick in 2025, including trading it. General Manager Brad Holmes has done a marvelous job at rebuilding his roster, and I am not sure if there is another team in the NFL with a roster as good as the Lions.
So why not continue to add to the defensive front? I could see Detroit having a bit of turnover at wide receiver, so don’t count that position out with their first-round pick next year.
30. Baltimore Ravens - Will Campbell, OT, LSU
Someone tell me how Will Campbell fell this low to the Baltimore Ravens? In a shocking event, the Ravens are able to take Campbell at the bottom of the first round, and this is a huge answered prayer for Baltimore, as they do have some cloudy long-term tackle situations.
Ronnie Stanley cannot stay healthy, and is anyone going to emerge as the starting right tackle?
31. San Francisco 49ers - Tacario Davis, CB, Arizona
The San Francisco 49ers know how to build Super Bowl-caliber football teams, that’s for sure. Whatever head coach Kyle Shanahan and General Manager John Lynch want to do, I would not question it.
The Niners have needed some more quality bodies at the cornerback position, so that could be a realistic target for them in the 2025 NFL Draft. At some point, you’d think that the 49ers could get over the hump and win the Super Bowl, right?
32. Kansas City Chiefs - Andrew Mukuba, S, Texas
Kansas City Chiefs fans may think his pick is a bit odd, as KC does have a strong reputation of being able to draft and develop mid-late round defensive backs. Well, why not use a first-round pick on one?
Andrew Mukuba had 42 total tackles and six passes defended in the 2023 college football season.
Round 2
33. Denver Broncos (via CHI) - Derrick Moore, EDGE, Michigan
Trade! The Denver Broncos now make it two players from Michigan in the 2025 NFL Draft, taking an EDGE rusher in Derrick Moore next. The Broncos are clearly trying to rebuild their defensive front, and this could be the perfect path for them to take, as they do have better personnel overall on offense.
Could the Broncos put the league on notice in 2025?
34. Tennessee Titans - Parker Brailsford, OC, Alabama
The Tennessee Titans could maybe shift arker Brailsford to guard, as they did just sign free agent center Lloyd Cushenberry to a $50 million deal. The Titans do still have a huge need along their offensive line, and with a new quarterback in the picture, it’d be wise for the front office to protect him.
35. New England Patriots - Jonah Savaiinaea, OT, Arizona
The New England Patriots are trying to usher in a new era on offense. In the 2024 NFL Draft, it was Drake Maye at QB. Now, in 2025, they’ve got WR Luther Burden with the third overall pick and a new tackle in Jonah Savaiinaea with their second-round pick.
De-facto GM Eliot Wolf is clearly trying to build something that can be sustainable for the long-term, but only time will tell if it actually works out for them
36. Chicago Bears (via DEN) - Jordan Hancock, CB, Ohio State
The Chicago Bears traded down a bit with the Denver Broncos and will take Jordan Hancock from Ohio State with their second-round pick. GM Ryan Poles is making a huge effort to boost the defensive side of the ball here in hopes that the unit can take a huge step into stardom for 2025.
The Bears could realistically address the rest of their offensive needs in free agency. I would not be shocked to see Chicago prioritize the iOL at some point next offseason.
37. Las Vegas Raiders - Ollie Gordon IV, RB, Oklahoma State
The Raiders lost Josh Jacobs in free agency this past offseason, so perhaps they want to re-do their RB room and find a true RB1 for the long-term Perhaps the Raiders should have taken a QB here, but they opt to invest in the backfield with Ollie Gordon IV from Oklahoma State.
38. New York Giants - TreVeyon Henderson, RB, Ohio State
You have to wonder what is going on in the New York Giants front office at this point. At pick 38, the Giants take TreVeyon Henderson from Ohio State. Giants GM Joe Schoen dropped the ball on the Danie Jones extension but rightfully did not re-sign Saquon Barkley.
Perhaps the recent young talent added on offense can help the Giants turn a corner on that side of the ball.
39. Denver Broncos (via ARI) - Isaiah Bond, WR, Alabama
The Denver Broncos are again picking in the second round and decide to add yet another body at wide receiver, but this does make a ton of sense. All of Courtland Sutton, Tim Patrick, and Josh Reynolds are one or more of old, in the last year of their deal, or within the last two years of their deal, so the Broncos do need to build for the future here.
The team has Troy Franklin and Marvin Mims Jr, the two younger wide receivers on the roster. Them coupled with Isaiah Bond could make for a lethal trio in no time.
40. Washington Commanders - Emery Jones, OT, LSU
Yes, a tackle! The Washington Commanders offseason this year was an odd one, as I am not sure what their plan was at the tackle positions. I guess they hope that rookie Brandon Coleman can turn into someone? Who knows. Washington does have a huge need at tackle and can hope to answer that with Emery Jones from LSU in the second round.
41. New Orleans Saints - Jalen Milroe, QB, Alabama
Quarterback! The New Orleans Saints took Spencer Rattler in the 2024 NFL Draft, and will now double-down on the position with Jalen Milroe. In this scenario, the team likely moves on from Derek Carr, who honestly should not have ever been signed in the first place.
Could this be a new era for the Saints?
42. Buffalo Bills - Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia
Buffalo will surely add more talent to their defensive front next offseason as they look to continue to re-tool their roster in the Josh Allen era. This offseason, Buffalo had to part with some veteran players to get their cap situation in a good spot. Now, the next part of the Josh Allen era is them trying to re-tool the roster with some younger and cheaper talent.
43. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Gabe Jacas, EDGE, Illinois
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers might be back to square one next offseason if Baker Mayfield is not able to play as well as he did in 2023. Losing former offensive coordinator Dave Canales is going to be a huge loss, so we’ll see if Mayfield can continue to play well. In the meantime, though, the Buccaneers could bolster their defensive front with Gabe Jacas from Illinois.
44. New York Giants (via SEA) - Donovan Jackson, OG, Ohio State
The New York Giants continue to add pieces to their offense, and this time fortify their interior offensive line with Donovan Jackson from Ohio State. Who knows where GM Joe Schoen will go to find his franchise QB. Maybe he’ll make a huge run at Dak Prescott if the QB hits free agency.
Maybe there’s another QB trade to be had somewhere. Daniel Jones has really set this franchise back for years, and Schoen needs to move on from him as soon as possible.
45. Indianapolis Colts - Ephesians Prysock, CB, Washington
The defense is going to be the main focus next offseason for the Colts. I do have an interesting question though; what do the Colts do at QB if Anthony Richardson ends up not making a big enough leap in year two? What if he is downright awful? Maybe Colts GM Chris Ballard would have to figure out another QB plan in that case.
Until then, they’ll add more bodies on defense.
46. Pittsburgh Steelers - Tyler Booker, OG, Alabama
The Pittsburgh Steelers have usually always had a strong offensive line. In the 2024 NFL Draft, they took Troy Fautanu and Zach Frazier, and those two are expected to start along the OL in Pittsburgh. They also recently took Broderick Jones at tackle and could continue to prioritize the OL if they took Tyler Booker in the second round.
47. Jacksonville Jaguars - Omarion Hampton, RB, North Carolina
The Jaguars might be in a great position next offseason. The team recently locked up Trevor Lawrence for the long-term, and if the Jags can be as good as their potential, this team could be dangerous and might kick it into high gear next offseason and go all-in. Could the Jags add another weapon out of the backfield for Trevor Lawrence?
48. Cleveland Browns - Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
The Browns might have to cut ties with Nick Chubb at some point. Chubb was so good for years, but the recent major knee injury he suffered could force the Browns to go in a different direction. If so, they could target Boise State’s Ashton Jeanty in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
The Browns might be another team to follow with their QB situation, as Deshaun Watson has not looked good. My guess is that Watson ends up figuring it out, which would give GM Andrew Berry way more flexibility to improve the roster.
49. Carolina Panthers - Barion Brown, WR, Kentucky
More wide receivers! Well, the Carolina Panthers have a need QB in town with Carson Beck, so General Manager Dan Morgan, a year after investing a ton of money into the offensive line, will now bring in some wide receivers for his rookie QB. Barion Brown has 93 receptions and eight touchdowns through two years at Kentucky.
50. Los Angeles Chargers - Mitchell Evans, TE, Notre Dame
The LA Chargers hope to be competitive in year one under Jim Harbaugh. In fact, Harbaugh has found success at every head coaching stop of his career. The Chargers could be in a great spot in 2025 to go all-in and try to make some headway in the AFC. Well, getting Justin Herbert some more weapons would be a good way to do that.
Mitchell Evans is a tight end from Notre Dame, so you kind of have to figure he’ll be a very good prospect.
51. Chicago Bears - Will Sheppard, WR, Colorado
Will Shepphard heads to Colorado after four years at Wake Forest. In those four years, Sheppard caught 152 passes and 21 touchdowns, catching 17 scores after the last two seasons. He never hit the 1,000-yard mark at Wake Forest, but he could have a good shot to do that catching passes from Shedeur Sanders at Colorado.
52. Atlanta Falcons - Xavier Nwankpa, S, Iowa
The Atlanta Falcons will invest a good bit into their secondary next offseason, I guarantee it. GM Terry Fontenot has build a solid team, but has made some odd decisions with some of his draft picks. Frankly, he needs to quit overthinking this and just pick the positions that his team needs to fill the most.
He made a good decision bringing in Raheem Morris as the head coach, so as long as he doesn’t blow it in the NFL Draft, the Falcons should be a decent team.
53. Miami Dolphins - Dontay Corleone, DT, Cincinnati
More bodies on the defensive side of the ball for the Miami Dolphins, as GM Chris Grier looks to cement the defensive front after losing Christian Wilkins in free agency this offseason to the Las Vegas Raiders. It’s unclear whether QB Tua Tagovailoa is going to be able to make progress in the AFC, but overall, the Dolphins have a very talented roster, as Grier has built a nice squad.
54. Green Bay Packers - Trevor Etienne, RB, Georgia
You know, it would be neat for the Jaguars to unite the Etienne brothers on the same team, but they recently took a RB in the 2025 NFL Draft, so the Packers will look to give Jordan Love another weapon with Trevor Etienne who has rushed for 1,472 yards in two years at Florida. He’s got 15 total touchdowns during those two years as well.
55. New York Jets - Landon Jackson, EDGE, Arkansas
Joe Douglas missing on Zach Wilson a few years ago is still impacting their draft decisions today. Well, the Jets defensive front has undergone some change this offseason. They lost both Bryce Huff and John Franklin-Myers, so they have a huge need at the position. Landon Jackson had 13.5 tackles for loss in 2023 at Arkansas.
56. Houston Texans - Dane Key, WR, Kentucky
How about another wide receiver? The Houston Texans did trade for Stefon Diggs this offseason, but he’s only a short-term option, so GM Nick Caserio should not get lazy at this position, even with their other young WRs in Nico Collins, who just signed an extension, and Tank Dell.
I predict that the Texans will win the Super Bowl this year, but until a team can prove to be able to knock off the Chiefs, KC stillt has to be the favorite.
57. Dallas Cowboys - Jaishawn Barham, LB, Michigan
The Cowboys might need to reset a bit defensively since Mike Zimmer is now the defensive coordinator. He could pound the table for certain prospects during the 2025 NFL Draft. Maybe Jaishawn Barham from Michigan is a player that they could covet. Heck, the Cowboys might end up blowing it all up at the end of the season.
58. Philadelphia Eagles - Jalon Walker, EDGE, Georgia
You got to love Howie Roseman. He loves adding players along the defensive front. In 2023, Jalon Walker had five sacks and 5.5 tackles for loss. And yeah, he’s a defensive player from Georgia, so you know Roseman has him on his radar.
I do think the QB position, believe it or not, could end up being a huge problem for Philly if Jalen Hurts again struggles in 2024.
59. Cincinnati Bengals - Jaeden Roberts, OG, Alabama
The Cincinnati Bengals might be running out of time to keep Joe Burrow upright and healthy. You hope that this isn’t another Carson Palmer situation. If the Bengals are still unable to field a competent offensive line, Burrow should realize that maybe this franchise isn’t the one for him.
Well, the Bengals can take Jaeden Roberts from Alabama and help shore up the iOL. The Bengals did add two notable bodies to the offense line this offseason in Trent Brown and Amarius Mims, their first-round draft pick in 2024.
60. Buffalo Bills - Rod Moore, S, Michigan
The Buffalo Bills add safety Rod Moore from Michigan in the 2025 NFL Draft. In 2023, Moore had 38 total tackles, two interceptions, and three passes defended. Buffalo knows just how important having two very good safeties were for their defense, so GM Brandon Beane hopes to usher in a new era on the backend with Moore and some of their other additions.
61. Detroit Lions - Oronde Gadsden II, WR, Syracuse
The Detroit Lions add Oronda Gadsden II from Syracuse at the bottom of the second round i the 2025 NFL Draft. The Lions might have the best roster in the league and do have enough talent to make the Super Bowl this year. QB Jared Goff signed an extension with the team this offseason.
62. Baltimore Ravens - Tez Johnson, WR, Oregon
Two-straight picks at wide receiver, the Baltimore Ravens have always seemed to have a small hole at this position. Rashod Bateman, one of their current wide receivers, is again being hyped up, but let’s face it; the Ravens need a consistent WR1 on this team, as Lamar Jackson really hasn’t had that during his career with the team.
63. San Francisco 49ers - Patrick Payton, EDGE, Florida State
The Niners have gotten to where they have atop the NFL hierarchy because of just how strongly they build their defensive lines. Why stop now? The 49ers take Patrick Payton from Florida State with the 63rd overall pick.
The 49ers did have to do a bit of reshuffling along their defensive line this offseason. Leonard Floyd and Maliek Collins are the two new notable additions to this unit.
64. Kansas City Chiefs - Elic Ayomanor, WR, Stanford
In 2023, Elic Ayomanor had 62 receptions, 1,013 yards, and six touchdowns. Averaging over 16 yards per reception could be a sign that he could be an explosive player at the NFL level. Yes, the Chiefs did add Xavier Worthy and Hollywood Brown this offseason, but why stop there?
Really, the Chiefs WR spot might be their only roster weakness.
Exhale. OK, there you have it, a full, two-round, 2025 NFL Mock Draft. The 2025 NFL Draft is still 10 months away, but it’s clear that next April’s draft is going to again be filled with quite a bit of talent.
