It's officially 2024 NFL Draft week, and the final mock drafts will be abundant. In this mock draft, it's a full four-rounds and has some insane trades. Besides the draft itself and the careful study of the prospects, players already in the league could shake the draft up. Could the 49ers trade Brandon Aiyuk?

Could the Bengals trade Tee Higgins? And if so, which teams would have interest? The draft does go beyond the college prospects sometimes. For example, former Titan AJ Brown was traded to the Eagles a few years ago. That certainly should the draft up. Anyway, in our longest mock draft to date, let's get started with a full two-round mock draft with some groundbreaking trades.

2024 NFL Mock Draft: Full two-round mock with groundbreaking trades

1. Chicago Bears - Caleb Williams, QB, USC

Next.

2. Washington Commanders - Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU

From what I have personally read, Jayden Daniels is very likely going with the second overall pick. I'd be shocked if this didn't happen and don't think the Commanders are even thinking about trading out of this selection, either.

3. New York Giants (via NE) - Drake Maye, QB, UNC

How about this?  The New York Giants have been rumored to be interested in a QB during the 2024 NFL Draft, but there’s also reports out there saying they aren’t interested in one this early.  Well, what if Patriots de-facto GM Eliot Wolf is interested in moving down a bit?  If so, the Giants could offer a strong enough package to move up to the third overall spot to take Drake Maye.

4. New England Patriots (via ARI) - JJ McCarthy, QB, Michigan

So, the Patriots moved down to six initially, but they decided they wanted to try and trade up a couple of picks with the Arizona Cardinals.  The Pats moved down and moved back up, and they did this to net a QB they are high on and to net some draft picks.  JJ McCarthy is the fourth QB off the board.

5. Los Angeles Chargers - Marvin Harrison Jr, WR, OSU

With how dramatic the top four picks were, the LA Chargers get to stand pat at five and select Marvin Harrison Jr.  An offensive tackle is a very common position also mocked to the Chargers with this spot.

6. Arizona Cardinals (via NE) - Malik Nabers, WR, LSU

The Arizona Cardinals moved down two slots from their original first-round pick and are still able to land Malik Nabers, arguably the best WR in the 2024 NFL Draft.  The Cardinals get Kyler Murray a true WR1 on the outside.

7. Tennessee Titans - Joe Alt, OT, Notre Drame

I’d perrsonally be shocked if Joe Alt did not go to the Tennessee Titans at the seventh pick.  The Titans have a huge need at LT and have invested a ton of money into their OL this offseason when they signed Lloyd Cushenberry.

8. Indianapolis Colts (via ATL) - Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia

Trade!  The Indianapolis Colts want Brock Bowers enough to make a huge trade up the NFL Draft board for Brock Bowers.  The Atlanta Falcons move down in this scenario and allow the Colts to come up to draft the best TE for Shane Steichen and Anthony Richardson.

9. Cincinnati Bengals (via CHI) - Rome Odunze, WR, Washington

Trade!  Now it’s the Cincinnati Bengals moving up with the Chicago Bears.  The are somehow able to get Rome Odunze, but did have to trade up eight selections to do so.  Odunze coming onto the Bengals could mean that the team is ready to trade Tee Higgins.

10. Pittsburgh Steelers (via NYJ) - Olu Fashanu, OT, Penn State

Another trade here with the Pittsburgh Steelers moving up 10 slots to take Olu Fashanu from Penn State.  With an urgent need at tackle, the Steelers hope that Fashanu can be a stabilizing force on the left side, and he’ll likely be tasked with blocking for Russell Wilson.

11. Minnesota Vikings - Terrion Arnold, CB, Alabama

The Vikings are not able to get one of the top four QBs in this mock draft, but in sticking with the 11th pick, they land Terrion Arnold from Alabama.  While many mock drafts have the Vikings taking a first-round QB, they do also have a big need at CB.

12. Philadelphia Eagles (via DEN) - Quinyon Mitchell, CB, Toledo

The Denver Broncos are able to move down from their 12th pick, and the Eagles decide they want to come up for Quinyon Mitchell from Toledo.  The Eagles took a step back in 2023 and had shaky CB play, so Mitchell can bring a spark to that unit.

13. Las Vegas Raiders - Taliese Fuaga, OT, Oregon State

The Las Vegas Raiders just might take a chance on a QB later on in this mock draft, but for now, they’ll bolster their offensive line with Taliese Fuaga, who can be a day one starter at the right tackle position.

14. New Orleans Saints - Amarius Mims, OT, Georgia

The New Orleans Saints need help at both tackle spots, so taking one of the first-round caliber tackles would be a wise move.  With New Orleans headed toward a rebuild at some point, adding young talent in the trenches in a good place to start.

15. Atlanta Falcons (via IND) - Dallas Turner, EDGE, Alabama

The Atlanta Falcons somehow traded down seven picks and landed Dallas Turner, who many have mocked to them with their original 8th overall pick.  This is excellent value for the Falcons, who get extra capital and their top defensive player on their board.

16. Seattle Seahawks - Troy Fautanu, OT, Washington

Troy Fautanu can play both guard and tackle in the NFL it seems, and with Seattle maybe needing both tackle and guard help, Fautanu can be a perfect pick for the franchise in their first year without Pete Carroll in quite some time.

17. Jacksonville Jaguars - JC Latham, OT, Alabama

You can’t fault GM Trent Baakle for being aggressive in free agency.  The Jaguars need to get better at tackle in my opinion, so JC Latham is the selection here.  If the Jaguars can shore up their trenches with the NFL Draft and maybe one last free agency wave, this team can continue to build on their breakout season in 2022.

18. Chicago Bears (via CIN) - Laiatu Latu, EDGE, UCLA

The Chicago Bears make their second first-round pick here and will take Laiatu Latu, an insanely athletic pass rusher who would pair nicely with Montez Sweat.  One more force along the defensive front could be all that the Bears are missing in their quest to launch back into relevancy.

19. Los Angeles Rams - Jared Verse, EDGE, Florida State

The LA Rams lose Aaron Donald to retirement, so they’ll need to add more bodies along the defensive front.  Their first pick in trying to do that is Jared Verse from Florida State, but the Rams might not be done quite yet.

20. New York Jets (via PIT) - Brian Thomas Jr, WR, LSU

Trading down 10 picks with the Steelers, the New York Jets opt to take a WR with their first-round pick and all of a sudden have a nice trio of pass-catchers with Garrett Wilson and Mike Williams.  If Williams can stay healthy, that unit can make life quite easy for Aaron Rodgers in 2024.

21. Miami Dolphins - Johnny Newton, DT, Illinois

Losing Christian Wilkins in free agency hurts, but they can try to replace him with Johnny Newton from Illinois.  The team needs to shed their “can’t play in cold weather” label, and shoring up the trenches is a good place to do just that.

22. Denver Broncos (via PHI) - Byron Murphy II, DT, Texas

The Denver Broncos do not take a QB with their first-round pick but instead take Byron Murphy II in their trade-down with the Eagles.  Denver is back picking in the second round due to them trading down with Philly, so maybe they can address the QB spot there.

23. Minnesota Vikings - Graham Barton, OG, Duke

The Vikings have two very good tackles but could use one more quality player along the interior offensive line.  Graham Barton is another piece to their puzzle, and at this point, all that seems to be missing is the quarterback, but where will the Vikings find him?

24. Dallas Cowboys - Jackson Powers-Johnson, OC, Oregon

Losing multiple starters along the offensive line hurts, but the Dallas Cowboys can fix one of those spots with Jackson Powers-Johnson in the first round.  Dallas might go heavy on the offensive side of the ball as they still need to address their RB and WR rooms.

25. Green Bay Packers - Nate Wiggins, CB, Clemson

The Green Bay Packers roster is quietly very good, but they could use some help in the secondary, so Nate Wiggins with their first-round pick would be a wise selection.  Can they build on their breakout 2023 season?

26. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Chop Robinson, EDGE, Penn State

The Buccaneers found a spark with Baker Mayfield in 2023 but do need some help at pass rusher if they want to build on that season.  Chop Robinson seems to be a good bet late in the first round.

27. Arizona Cardinals - Kool-Aid McKinstry, CB, Alabama

The Cardinals can go in a number of different directions with their first-round selections.  After taking Malik Nabers on offense, they’ll address the defense in round one and take Kool-Aid McKinstry.

28. Buffalo Bills - Adonai Mitchell, WR, Texas

The Buffalo BIlls no longer have Stefon Diggs or Gabe Davis in their WR room, so it’s a first-round need.  The team could also use some help in the secondary but have a hard time passing up Adonai Mitchell.

29. Detroit Lions - Cooper DeJean, DB, Iowa

I don’t know how to explain it, but Cooper DeJean feels like be belongs in the NFC North, especially on the Detriot Lions.

30. Baltimore Ravens - Tyler Guyton, OT, Oklahoma

They traded Morgan Moses back to the New York Jets and cannot see Ronnie Stanley stay on the field, so they’ll take a huge area of need and draft a tackle in the first round.

31. San Francisco 49ers - Kingsley Suamataia, OT, BYU

The 49ers need some help along the offensive line, and they could also use a first-round draft pick at CB and WR, too.  The Niners could hit this pick in a number of different ways but opt for Kingsley Suamataia.

32. Kansas City Chiefs - Xavier Worthy, WR, Texas

Xavier Worthy is the fastest man in NFL Combine history and the Kansas City Chiefs simply cannot help themselves.  I could also see them target a defensive tackle or cornerback in the first round as well.

Round Two

33. Las Vegas Raiders (via CAR) - Michael Penix Jr, QB, Washington

Trade!  After taking Taliese Fuaga in the first round, the Las Vegas Raiders traded up with the Carolina Panthers at the top of the second round to land Michael Penix Jr from Washington.  The Raiders decide to take Penix over another high-profile QB still on the board in Bo Nix.

34. New England Patriots - Jordan Morgan, OT, Arizona

The New England Patriots make a deliberate effort to address their urgent needs on offense, first by taking QB JJ McCarthy and secondly by taking OT Jordan Morgan.  Eliot Wolf is clearly making the offense a top priority in the 2024 NFL Draft.

35. Arizona Cardinals - Christian Haynes, OG, UConn

Again with the theme of just needing a ton of talent everywhere, the Cardinals take Christian Haynes to add to the interior OL which would now feature Paris Johnson Jr and Jonah Williams at the two tackle spot and Haynes at one of the guard spots.

36. Washington Commanders - Keon Coleman, WR, Florida State

Keon Coleman is the selection here for the Washington Commanders at the top of the second round, as Jayden Daniels now has an encouraging duo of wide receivers at his disposal with Terry McLaurin and Coleman.

37. Los Angeles Chargers - Zach Frazier, OC, West Virginia

An addition on the offensive line, the LA Chargers draft Zach Frazier.  They did sign Bradley Bozeman earlier this offseason, but one of them could man one of the guard spots surely.

38. Tennessee Titans - Ladd McConkey, WR, Georgia

This would be an excellent draft pick to compliment the rest of the WR room for the Titans.  DeAndre Hopkins are a great but older WR duo, but Ladd McConkey as the underneath/possession receiver is a perfect trio for second-year QB Will Levis.

39. Carolina Panthers - Troy Franklin, WR, Oregon

The Carolina Panthers needing a wide receiver is the most obvious need of any team in the NFL in my opinion.  Making their first pick of the 2024 NFL Draft, Carolina hopes that the new WR trio of Troy Franklin, Adam Thielen, and Diontae Johnson can be just what Bryce Young needs for his development.

40. Washington Commanders - Tyler Nubin, S, Minnesota

The Commanders continue to rebuild their roster with the new era underway and will look to replace the departed Kamren Kurl with Tyler Nubin.  While taking a safety this high might not be popular, Dan Quinn loves his defensive backs.

41. Green Bay Packers - Darius Robinson, EDGE, Missouri

In their quest to finally have a defense not underperform, the Green Bay Packers take Darius Robinson near the top of the second round.  If Jordan Love can take a step forward in 2024, the Packers are going to be very good.

42. Houston Texans - Ruke Orhorhoro, DT, Clemson

Games in the NFL are won and lost in the trenches, and it’s clear that the Houston Texans have prioritized that unit this offseason, as Danielle Hunter and Denico Autry are also along the DL.  Oh yeah, Will Anderson Jr is pretty good, too.

43. Atlanta Falcons - TJ Tampa, CB, Iowa State

It should be a defensive focus for the Atlanta Falcons in the 2024 NFL Draft, and while the team definitely won’t win a Super Bowl with Kirk Cousins, this team can easily win the NFC South in 2024.

44. Carolina Panthers (via LVR) - Adisa Isaac, EDGE, Penn State

Believe it or not, the Carolina Panthers need more than just wide receivers.  After trading Brian Burns, the defensive front could use another boost, so I went with EDGE Adisa Isaac in the second round.

45. New Orleans Saints - Cooper Beebe, OG, Kansas State

With two picks along the offensive line thus far for the New Orleans Saints, GM Mickey Loomis is clearly embracing a certain strategy in the NFL Draft.  I would not be shocked if the Saints took a chance on a QB later on in the draft as well.

46. Atlanta Falcons (via IND) - Xavier Legette, WR, South Carolina

Originally belonging to the Indianapolis Colts, the Falcons still have a reason to invest in another wide receiver.  Xavier Legette seems to profile similarly to guys like AJ Brown and Deebo Samuel.

47. New England Patriots (via NYG) - Ja’Lynn Polk, WR, Washington

Getting the most urgent needs on offense filled in the 2024 NFL Draft is a great way for this team to kickstart their rebuild with new head coach Jerod Mayo and de-facto GM Eliot Wolf.  All of a sudden, the Patriots have several building blocks on offense to work with.

48. Jacksonville Jaguars - Max Melton, CB, Rutgers

I don’t believe them signing CB Ronald Darby in free agency is going to remove them from drafting a CB.  One thing to watch with the Jags is if Trevor Lawrence receives a contract extension.

49. Chicago Bears (via CIN) - Leonard Taylor II, DT, Miami (FL)

The Chicago Bears continue to bolster the defensive front, this time with DT Leonard Taylor II from Miami (FL).  At this point, if Caleb Williams is a stud, a Super Bowl window opens up for this team.  Yes, I just typed those words.

50. Denver Broncos (via PHI) - Bo Nix, QB, Oregon

If you were wondering when the Denver Broncos would take a QB, well, here you go.  Bo Nix could fall out of the second round, and if the Broncos can play their cards right, he could fall into their laps.  This pick originally belonged to the Eagles.

51. New York Jets (via PIT) - Patrick Paul, OT, Houston

The short-term situation at tackle looks great for the New York Jets, but they do need some stability there for the long-term.  Taking Patrick Paul is a great start as he does not have th play immediately.

52. Los Angeles Rams - Michael Hall Jr, DT, OSU

No one for the rest of the history of the NFL may come close to how good Aaron Donald was, but heck, you never know.  Michael Hall Jr might have a great chance to earn a starting spot as a rookie.

53. Philadelphia Eagles - Edgerrin Cooper, LB, Texas A&M

The Eagles ILB situation last year was surprisingly awful.  It’s not a hugely valuable position in the NFL anymore, but for Philly, it clearly was missed in 2023. Don’t be surprised if they came away with a top ILB prospect at some point.

54. Cleveland Browns - Kris Jenkins, DT, Michigan

The first time the Browns are picking in the 2024 NFL Draft, they take Kris Jenkins and further bolster their defensive front.  The team traded for WR Jerry Jeudy earlier this offseason, so that might take them out of the running for a second-round WR.

55. Miami Dolphins - Malachi Corley, WR, Western Kentucky

Oh boy, this almost seems unfair for the rest of the NFL.  Malachi Corley caught 22 touchdown passes over the last two seasons at Western Kentucky and hauled in 259 receptions over his collegiate career.

56. Dallas Cowboys - Trey Benson, RB, Florida State

To the surprise of no one, the Dallas Cowboys come away with a RB early in the NFL Draft.  Trey Benson rushed for over six yards per carry at Florida State over the last two seasons along with 23 rushing touchdowns.

57. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Ennis Rakestraw Jr, CB, Missouri

The Buccaneers traded Carlton Davis to the Detroit Lions, so they have a hole at the CB spot.  Ennis Rakestraw Jr comes aboard and joins a very talented unit on the backend.

58. Green Bay Packers - Roger Rosengarten, OT, Washington

The Packers might be able to benefit from a boost at tackle, so while Roger Rosengarten might have gone a bit too high here, he’s someone who can be a left and right tackle at the NFL leve.

59. Houston Texans - Kamari Lassiter, CB, Georgia

The Texans signed two young CBs in CJ Henderson and Jeff Okudah this offseason, but that doesn’t mean GM Nick Caserio should stop adding to the unit, as both Henderson and Okudah have started off in the NFL shaky at best.

60. Buffalo Bills - Chris Braswell, EDGE, Alabama

Chris Braswell had 10.5 tackles for loss and eight sacks in 2023 for the Crimson tide.  The Bills need to rebuild their WR room and should perhaps get younger across the defensive front.  Braswell is certainly not a bad selection here.

61. Detroit Lions - Ben Sinnott, TE, Kansas State

The Lions can have a ton of fun in the 2024 NFL Draft.  You never know what may happen with Sam LaPorta, their 2023 stud rookie tight end.  The Lions did ship off their former stud TE in TJ Hockenson, so perhaps Ben Sinnott is some insurance is that regard.

62. Baltimore Ravens - Bralen Trice, EDGE, Washington

Jadaveon Clowney departing in free agency opens up a need for the Baltimore Ravens with their pass-rushing unit.  Bralen Trice is the selection here at the bottom of the second round.

63. San Francisco 49ers - Braden Fiske, DT, Florida State

The 49ers have always fielded a strong defensive front in the Kyle Shanahan/John Lynch era, and they have remade that unit a bit this offseason.  The remodel continues with Braden Fiske.

64. Kansas City Chiefs - Brandon Dorlus, EDGE, Oregon

In 2023, Brandon Dorlus combined for 11.5 sacks and tackles for loss, and somehow had nine passes defended.  He’s a five-year player for Oregon and the Kansas City Chiefs nab him up at the bottom of the second round.
