Another Sunday, another 2025 NFL Mock Draft. Our latest mock is a full first-round and includes some pretty ridiculous trades. The 2025 NFL Draft is not far away if we're being honest. The 2024 NFL Season is actually nearly over, and after that, all eyes will turn to NFL free agency, the NFL Combine, and then the NFL Draft.
A couple things to note here with the 2025 NFL Draft; the QB class is not nearly as talented as it was in 2024, and the top-end talent in 2025 does not seem to be there, so it'll be interesting to see how certain teams go about navigating this year's draft.
We could see more movement at the top if teams do not have a prospect they like enough inside the top-10, for example. There does seem to be two clear-cut QB prospects who are better than the rest, but will they be good enough to go as high as projected?
Let's dive into our latest 2025 NFL Mock Draft. It's one round lock and has some wild trades.
2025 NFL Mock Draft: Raiders and Giants nab their QB of the future
1. Las Vegas Raiders - Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
The Las Vegas Raiders probably have no choice here but to take one of Shedeur Sanders or Cam Ward at the top of the 2025 NFL Draft. They currently hold the first overall pick and may end up staying in that slot. If they do, Sanders could very easily be the pick, heading to Las Vegas.
The Raiders probably wanted to take Michael Penix Jr in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, but the Atlanta Falcons got in the way of that, and 2024 seemed to be the year to get the QB. The 2025 NFL Draft's QB class doesn't appear to be as good, so the Raiders may have to hold out more hope that Shedeur Sanders develops into a franchise QB.
2. New York Giants - Cam Ward, QB, Miami (FL)
At pick two of this 2025 NFL mock draft, the New York Giants take Cam Ward from Miami (FL). Ward has arguably been the best QB in college football this year, but from what I have gathered, many think that Sanders is a more polished QB prospect, so Ward may end up being the consensus second-best QB in this coming class.
The Giants decision to extend Daniel Jones two offseasons ago was a horrific decision, and one that may put multiple people out of a job here in the next few weeks or so. The Giants are 2-11 on the season and a flat-out awful football team from top to bottom. They need a total reset and must get the QB right this time around.
What were they thinking extending Daniel Jones?
3. New England Patriots - Will Campbell, OT, LSU
The New England Patriots have their franchise QB in Drake Maye if you ask me. Maye is on perhaps the worst offensive personnel group in the NFL. The Pats have a horrific offensive line and no one viable at WR.
Hunter Henry is a good tight end, but that's about it. However, in the NFL, teams are built from the inside, out, so the team needs to focus on fixing their offensive line this coming offseason. The one tried-and-true way to do this the right way is to build through the NFL Draft.
Will Campbell heads to New England in this 2025 NFL mock draft. Some have said that Campbell may have to kick inside at the NFL level, but he's the best LT prospect in the NFL Draft, so it's likely that he can make it as a tackle in the NFL.
Drake Maye needs a blindside protector that won't get him killed. De-facto GM Eliot Wolf will have a ton of cap space to sign free agents to fix the WR and OL rooms, but it's also imperative that he gets some prospects at each position in the NFL Draft as well. Campbell seems to be a safe pick for the Pats with the third overall selection.
4. Chicago Bears (via CAR) - Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State
Trade! The Chicago Bears trade up a few slots with the Carolina Panthers and take Abdul Carter from Penn State with the fourth overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Bears have a solid roster if you ask me and would be in the Wild Card chase if they had a competent coaching staff.
The right hire for the Bears in 2025 and beyond is Mike Vrabel. The Bears have to make sure that gets done somehow, as Matt Eberflus' incompetence cost the Bears several games this year and got him fired. Chicago could benefit from bolstering their defensive line to continue to build around their young defensive tackles and Montez Sweat.
It would not shock me if Chicago also tried to bring along some OL help as well.
5. Jacksonville Jaguars - Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado
The Jacksonville Jaguars, at pick five of this NFL mock draft, are able to nab the best player in college football in 2024 and take Travis Hunter. It would not shock me if Hunter was truly able to play both cornerback and wide receiver at the NFL level. The one concern here is that if it happens, Hunter could risk putting a lot of miles on his tires in such a short amount of time.
I would think that he settles into one of those positions but could also play the other side of the ball if needed. For example, maybe Travis Hunter settles into a WR at the NFL level but is also a defensive back in dime defense situations, where a defense would deploy six defensive backs. Heck, I don't know, man, this is just an idea.
But we can all agree that Hunter is the most talented player in college football and is a favorite for the Heisman Trophy this season. Him falling to five may be a pick of a shock, though. The Jags waste no time handing in their draft card.
6. Cincinnati Bengals (via TEN) - Mason Graham, DT, Michigan
Trade! The Cincinnati Bengals make a stellar, home-run draft pick here and trade up for Mason Graham, who is the best defensive prospect in the 2025 NFL Draft. Graham is fierce at defensive tackle and would bring some much-needed juice to the Bengals defensive front.
Really, outside of Trey Hendrickson, the Bengals defense has been non-existent this year, and they do have a ton of veteran players who could be replaced in 2025. The hope here is that Cincy invests and cap dollars into their defense, and they could, as always, use more help along the offensive line.
The Bengals build the trenches up in this NFL mock draft and take Mason Graham from Michigan. This would be an A+ pick.
7. New York Jets - Will Johnson, CB, Michigan
The New York Jets are a mess, and in hindsight, it was such a poor decision to think that Aaron Rodgers could have saved this franchise. At the time, former Jets GM Joe Douglas really had no choice, as him missing on Zach Wilson in the 2021 NFL Draft really threw a wrench into things.
The Jets are creeping closer to a top-5 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, so it's likely that they blow this thing up, and while it's needed, they have to get the right people to work through this rebuild. The Jets do have a solid roster, as Douglas was able to hit on a ton of quality players. His NFL Draft were generally good, but some of his FA signings were not.
With DJ Reed slated to be a free agent in 2025, the Jets take Will Johnson, the top CB in the country. Perhaps not the best use of a first-round pick, the Jets go with a player that could be at the top of their board.
8. Cleveland Browns - Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona
The Cleveland Browns are another team that is a huge mess. They may be just out of range to take one of the top QBs in the 2025 NFL Draft, but they could build-up their WR room. Cleveland traded Amari Cooper to the Buffalo Bills earlier this season, so it's pretty much Jerry Jeudy and everyone else.
The Browns could take Tetairoa McMillan in the 2025 NFL Draft and really add another needed element to their WR room. Now, what they do with the QB situaiton is still up in the air at this point, but it would not hurt to ensure Jameis Winston is brought back in 2025 as the bridge-starter.
Cleveland could look in a later round of the 2025 NFL Draft to find their QB of the future, and for what it's worth, Kevin Stefanski should remain as the head coach. He could develop a young QB.
9. Dallas Cowboys (via CAR) - Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
Trade! The Carolina Panthers move even further down in the first round of this NFL mock draft, and the Dallas Cowboys move up. To the surprise if no one, the Cowboys take Ashton Jeanty, the best RB in the country and someone who could come away with the Heisman Trophy this year.
Jeanty feels like the next great RB in the NFL, and it's clear that Dallas was missing a clear-cut RB1 among other things in 2024. This would also be a pretty awful draft pick for Dallas if you ask me. This team is missing another quality starter along the offensive line and perhaps missing more help along the defensive line.
Heck, they could use another WR to pair with CeeDee Lamb, but doesn't this feel like a 'Jerry Jones' pick? That's kind of my reasoning for this. Jerry Jones won't get out of his own way and won't accept that his team probably needs to press the reset button and move on from guys like Lamb and even Dak Prescott. However, they will again try to quickly fill their holes and hit the ground running in 2025, maybe even with a new coaching staff.
10. New Orleans Saints - Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia
Consistently the most cap-messy team in the NFL, the New Orleans Saints have to blow it up in 2025. They have to.
I don't see how they don't, but it will be interesting to see if GM Mickey Loomis is actually going to hit the reset button and if he is actually going to be there to do the rebuild. When a team rebuilds, they need to have two things at the very top of their to-do list;
Find the franchise QB and rebuild the trenches. The Saints do have sparse talent on their OL and DL, so they could use more. I went with Mykel Williams at pick 10 with the hope that the Saints DL can become solid once again.
New Orleans would still need to bring in some more OL help and perhaps even take another young QB. Spencer Rattler was a rookie in 2024, so maybe they bring in another rookie and have those two battle it out for the starting job in 2025.
11. Tennessee Titans (via CIN) - Kelvin Banks Jr, OT, Texas
With the Tennessee Titans trading down from the Cincinnati Bengals move-up, they sit just outside the top-10 and take OT Kelvin Banks Jr from Texas. And you know what; Will Levis has actually put some nice football on film in recent weeks, and I really do not think that the Titans are a slam-dunk team to take a QB at any point in 2025.
Levis hasn't been a disater this year and has grown from his rookie season in 2023. I would be shocked if they didn't keep him as the starter in 2025. If that is the case, Tennessee can take Banks and finally have a viable pair of tackles along their offensive line. Titans GM Ran Carthon definitely made a noticeable investment along their OL in 2024, signing center Lloyd Cushenberry and drafting OT JC Latham in 2024 from Alabama.
He continues the smart roster-building in the NFL Draft and takes Kelvin Banks Jr from Texas. Do not sleep on the Titans from being frisky in 2025.
12. Carolina Panthers (via DAL) - James Pearce Jr, EDGE, Tennessee
With the Carolina Panthers having traded down twice now in the first round of this 2025 NFL mock draft, they have a ton of extra draft capital and are still able to get a blue-chip prospect in James Pearce Jr from Tennessee. Pearce Jr lives in the backfield and could be the replacement for Brian Burns that Carolina is missing.
Second-year QB Bryce Young has played quite well over the last few weeks, and while the Panthers are still losing, it seems like this franchise is starting to settle down a bit. They have a very good offensive line and may be another weapon away on offense from being truly great.
They look to beef-up their defense by picking James Pearce Jr at pick 12 in our latest NFL mock draft.
13. San Francisco 49ers - Cameron Williams, OT, Texas
The San Francisco 49ers have pretty much hit disaster status at this point. The team is now 6-8 on the season and have not a ton going for them at the moment. Some of their best, most key players from this recent Super Bowl window are getting older and seemingly always hurt. The QB isn't great, and the roster itself just needs a refresh.
Well, building the trenches back up is a wise idea to kickstart a mini-rebuild that the team must embark on. I am not sure if it would be smart to extend Brock Purdy at this point. Heck, could the 49ers save a ton of money and sign someone like Sam Darnold in free agency? At this point, I am not sure Purdy is better than Darnold.
The 49ers have a ton of work to do in the coming offseason, and that's being kind. The team takes OT Cameron Williams from Texans in the first round of this mock draft, making it two Texans tackles off the board over the last three picks.
San Fran must not get cute with their first round pick. This is the way.
14. Miami Dolphins - Tyler Booker, OG, Alabama
Another team cut from the same cloth as the San Francisco 49ers is the Miami Dolphins, who need to add more of an 'edge' to their roster. Again, like SF, this is done in the trenches. The team takes Alabama guard Tyler Booker at pick 14 of this NFL mock draft.
The team has a QB in Tua Tagovailoa they paid a ton of money to recently, so he's entrenched as their starter for the long-term, but it doesn't seem like Tagovailoa is someone they can win a SB with. He's honestly in the same tier as Brock Purdy.
And the Dolphins, like the Niners, have to get better in the trenches. Tyler Booker can hopefully help them do that. Miami has a huge game in Week 15 versus the Houston Texans.
15. Indianapolis Colts - Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan
This feels like a logical pick for the Indianapolis Colts. At wide receiver, Indy deploys Michael Pittman Jr, Josh Downs, and Alec Pierce. At RB, they have Jonathan Taylor, and they've got a rock-solid offensive line as well. Offensively, they are close. They're missing a TE, which is great, because the 2025 NFL Draft is deep at that position.
They're also missing a franchise QB, but I guess we'll now at some point if the answer there is Anthony Richardson, who has thrown more interceptions than touchdowns this year. The Colts are not all that far away. Defensively, they do need help at both safety and CB, so that is another position of need they must address. However, it'd be hard to pass up Colston Loveland in the 2025 NFL Draft.
If you ask me, I am not 100% sold on the idea that GM Chris Ballard is again going to remain in Indy in 2025, as it's taken them a long time to find their footing after the unexpected retirement of Andrew Luck, and he may have missed big-time on Richardson.
In either instance, we'll mock Colston Loveland to the Colts at pick 15.
16. Atlanta Falcons - Malaki Starks, S, Georgia
The Atlanta Falcons defense is horrific. It stinks! The team must rebuild this unit in the 2025 NFL Draft, and Malaki Starks may be the next great safety in the NFL. At safety right now, the Falcons are rocking with two veterans in Jessie Bates III and Justin Simmons, but the entire secondary is to blame here.
Falcons GM Terry Fontenot is probably on the hot seat, but even if they bring in a new GM, the defense needs some young talent in the worst way, so taking a DB like Starks makes a ton of sense if you ask me. Could 2025 bring a new front office, new starting QB, and new defensive players?
17. Arizona Cardinals - Nic Scourton, EDGE, Texas A&M
The Arizona Cardinals were once 6-4 and in first place in the NFC West. Oh, how the times have changed. They’re now 6-7 on the season and are clearly not a playoff-caliber team at this point. The Cards only won four games in 2023, and that felt like year one of this rebuild. They are clearly a better team than they were in 2023, so the franchise is trending in the right direction.
Arizona needs to simply add more talent, period. I believe they have the coaching down and the franchise QB down. Kyler Murray is a very good QB, and no franchise QB is perfect, so spare me your complaints of him.
The Cardinals draft Nic Scourton from Texas A&M in the first round of this 2025 NFL Mock Draft. Just adding more DL talent is probably going to be the top priority for Cardinals GM Monti Ossenfort. I would not rule them out from competing for the NFC West in 2025 and beyond, actually.
The frustration with them having now lost three games in a row and losing their lead in the division is understandable, but this team is fine for the long-term.
18. Los Angeles Rams - Jalon Walker, LB, Georgia
To me, two areas on defense where the Los Angeles Rams will need to add talent will be at the inside linebacker position and in the secondary. The Rams could use a couple of young, talented cornerbacks. They could also use a stud ILB. They had one in Ernest Jones IV, but they traded him away, likely because they did not want to meet his contract demands.
I guess if they could come away with a stud LB prospect in Jalon Walker from Georgia, there isn’t any harm done here if they just reset their situation at the position. The Rams are now 8-6 on the season after their shaky 1-4 start.
19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Shavon Revel, CB, East Carolina
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers do have some issues on defense. They could also lose WR Chris Godwin in free agency in 2025, so this team may have some work to do this coming offseason. The good thing here is that GM Jason Licht is very good at his job, so you know he’ll draft well. At pick 19 in this NFL mock draft, I went with CB Shavon Revel from East Carolina. He tore his ACL a few months ago, so he should still be ready for Week 1 of the 2025 NFL Season.
The Bucs are benefitting from a few wins in a row and Baker Mayfield playing the best football of his career. They could win the NFC South for a second year in a row in the Mayfield era. And it’s interesting, as Mayfield is good, but I am not sure he’s good enough to eventually lead this team to a Super Bowl.
He has won playoff games before, so to me, he’s right on the edge of being a high-end franchise QB. One thing that could help the Bucs in their quest to get back to the Super Bowl is to put a good roster around their QB. Revel can help with that.
20. Washington Commanders - Luther Burden, WR, Missouri
At pick 20 in our latest NFL mock draft, the Washington Commanders take Luther Burden from Missouri and give Jayden Daniels another weapon. The Commanders took Daniels a pick two in the 2024 NFL Draft, and they got an immediate return on their investment with the QB. It’s been a very good year for the franchise overall as well.
And while they have lost four games in a row, they’re still 8-5 on the season and likely making the playoffs this year. Washington is missing another weapon in the passing game, so Luther Burden comes on board. Burden has very good YAC ability.
21. Los Angeles Chargers - Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State
The Los Angeles Chargers made the right move in the 2024 NFL Draft to take Joe Alt over Mailk Nabers, but now in the 2025 NFL Draft, they can go diving for another wide receiver. Emeka Egbuka is the pick here, and being that he is a first-round WR prospect from Ohio State, he's likely to succeed in the NFL.
He could follow in the footsteps of guys like Chris Olave, Garrett Wilson, Marvin Harrison Jr, and Terry McLaurin. Ohio State is quickly becoming WRU in the NFL. Egbuka joins a LA Chargers team sitting at 8-5 with a very bright future ahead.
They are likely making the playoffs in 2024 and could go all-in in 2025 and beyond. Jim Harbaugh has brought immediate change for this franchise. Would Egbuka be the right pick in the 2025 NFL Draft for the Bolts?d
22. Denver Broncos - Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State
How about the best tight end in the country heading to the team with the worst TE situation in the NFL? The fit almost makes too much sense, as Tyler Warren from Penn State is the most complete tight end in this year's class. He eclipsed 1,000 receiving yards this year and also added nearly 200 rushing yards.
I can only imagine the ways that Broncos head coach Sean Payton could deploy Tyler Warren. There were rumblings that the Broncos really liked Brock Bowers in the 2024 NFL Draft, but obviously went with Bo Nix, and he could be the Offensive Rookie of the Year. Nix is doing a lot with a little, as the Broncos best playmaker is Courtland Sutton.
Their second-best playmakers is seventh round rookie WR Devaughn Vele. The team has no viable TE on the roster and lack a consistent run game. It's an offense that very much needs another playmaker or two, so them taking Tyler Warren in this NFL mock draft makes a lot of sense if you ask me.
23. Seattle Seahawks - Jonah Savaiinaea, OT, Arizona
The Seattle Seahawks saw former starting center Connor Williams retire in the middle of the season. The team does need some OL help all across the board. Seattle also needs a franchise QB, as I am not sure what this franchise thinks they are winning with Geno Smith.
With them currently picking in the 20s, they won’t be in range for a top QB unless they want to make a huge move up the draft board in the first round. This coming NFL Draft is also not going to be very good at the QB position, so there’s that as well.
Seattle will take OL Jonah Savaiinaea at pick 23 in this NFL mock draft. He’s a tackle in college but is probably going to kick inside to guard at the next level. To me, OL is almost a slam-dunk pick for the Seahawks in the first round at this point. They could continue to lay this groundwork for a rookie QB to be inserted into the equation in 2026 or even 2027, depending on how long they want to keep Geno Smith around.
24. Baltimore Ravens - Isaiah Bond, WR, Texas
At pick 24 in this NFL mock draft, the Baltimore Ravens take Isaiah Bond, a WR from Texas. The Ravens have had some WR inconsistencies for years now, and they swung a trade for former Panther and Steeler WR Diontae Johnson. That has not paid off for them at all, so it’s likely that Johnson is not a part of their team going forward into 2025.
The Ravens have never really needed a top-tier WR to run the offense they want, which is centered around Lamar Jackson, but some have argued that they do need more talent at WR to make Jackson’s life easier on offense. That’s kind of my reasoning for mocking Bond to them here at pick 24.
I could be wrong, though. The Ravens could boost the secondary or even their offensive line as well in round one.
25. Houston Texans - Tyleik Williams, DT, Ohio State
The Houston Texans are 8-5, lead their division heading into Week 15, and are very likely making the playoffs this year and hosting a playoff game for the second year in a row. Nonetheless, many have said that this team has disappointed this season. That kind of tells you just how well-equipped this team is for the long-term, right?
I’ll own up to it; I predicted that not only would CJ Stroud win the NFL MVP this year, but that the Texans would win the Super Bowl. I am not sure either would happen. It has been a bit of a sophomore slump for Houston in the DeMeco Ryans/CJ Stroud era.
One area that Houston is most definitely going to address this coming offseason is along the offensive line. I remember after the Kansas City Chiefs got blown out in the Super Bowl a few years ago, they totally redid their offensive line, and they have used free agency to do that.
I would think that Texans GM Nick Caserio will do the same thing; I predict that he’ll overhaul the offensive line when free agency rolls around and further bolster the trenches in the 2025 NFL Draft. In our latest mock draft, Houston takes a player along the DL in Tyleik Williams from Ohio State
26. Green Bay Packers - Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon
At pick 26 in our NFL mock draft, the Green Bay Packers can go in a number of directions. I went with Derrick Harmon, a talented DL from Oregon. The Packers are a great team on both sides of the ball, but don’t they still feel a year away? They got swept by the Detroit Lions, the top team in the NFC.
It just seems like they’re not quite there yet, which is OK! This is only the second year of the Jordan Love era, and many of the top QBs today did not make a substantial playoff run until they were pushing 30 years old. The Packers will be fine and will need to continue drafting well. Harmon is the pick here at the bottom of the first round.
27. Pittsburgh Steelers - Walter Nolen, DT, Ole Miss
The Pittsburgh Steelers have always invested a ton of resources into their defensive line, and it’s a good roster-building idea. Guys like TJ Watt, Keanu Benton, Cam Heyward, and Alex Highsmith have all contributed to the Steelers having one of the best defensive fronts in football.
With guy like Heyward and even TJ Watt beginning to get up there in age, it would be wise for the Steelers to consider adding to the unit in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft. The Steelers did invest into their OL last draft, taking guys like Troy Fautanu and Zach Frazier.
Well, could they have the same mindset for the defensive line? I think so. Now that it’s likely Russell Wilson is their QB for at least the short-term, perhaps another few years, the Steelers can make some magic happen with other positions. I went with Walter Nolen with their first-round pick in this 2025 NFL Mock Draft.
Nolen may not be an immediate contributor, but could be someone that emerges in year two or year three. He also gives the Steelers another player that helps further their rugged, established culture.
28. Minnesota Vikings - Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame
If you ask me, one of the last positions that the Minnesota Vikings need to figure out is the CB position. This team is humming on both sides of the ball, but they may have a huge decision coming for their QB room. Sam Darnold is playing like an MVP but is a free agent in 2025. You would think that a re-signing would be obvious.
But JJ McCarthy is waiting in the wings, so this is just an intriguing situation overall. The Vikings will come to a resolution there, but they have to add to their secondary. I went with Benjamin Morrison from Notre Dame, who is the third CB taken in the first round of this 2025 NFL mock draft.
The Vikings could end up as one of the most well-positioned teams for the long-term in 2025 if they give the reigns over to McCarthy and he turns out to be a stud.
29. Buffalo Bills - Shemar Stewart - EDGE, Texas A&M
The Buffalo Bills are now 10-3 on the season and are playing the best football they have in quite some time. The loss in Week 14 against the LA Rams was pretty brutal, as they are now two games behind the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC standing. If Buffalo wants to capture the no. 1 seed in the AFC, they’ll have to hope that KC loses two more games.
That may not happen, so this team may again have to go on the road in the playoffs. At the bottom of the first round of this mock draft, they go with Shemar Stewart from Texas A&M. The talented defensive lineman does not have the statistical production, but many have said that his tools are elite.
That was kind of the same thing that people said about Travon Walker of the Jacksonville Jaguars, and it’s worked out well for them. Buffalo could go in a number of different directions with their first round pick if you ask me.
The Bills underwent a bit of a roster retooling this past offseason, and many said that this team was not going to be as good as we think. They proved a lot of us wrong.
30. Philadelphia Eagles - Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama
How about the Philadelphia Eagles? They have now won nine games in a row and are 11-2 on the season. About two months ago, this team was 2-2, and many of us were wondering if Nick Sirianni was on the hot seat, and for all of the criticism that comes his way, the guy just wins, and wins a lot.
The Eagles defense has really taken strides during their win streak. Defensive coordinator Vic Fangio is hitting his stride as well, as his group is playing their tails off. They take Jihaad Campbell in the first round of this NFL mock draft, giving Fangio a patroller for the middle of his unit.
The cool thing here is that Fangio probably does not leave for a head coaching job, as he probably isn’t going to get another one, so this Eagles D is going to be in good hands for a while.
31. Kansas City Chiefs - Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina
The Kansas City Chiefs are two-time defending Super Bowl champions and are looking to become the first team in NFL history to win three Super Bowls in a row. There is a reason why it’s never been done before, and with the way the Chiefs have won games this year, I am not sure they have ‘it’ this year.
I could be wrong; as you could easily argue that they’re 12-1 despite being a great team. And we have all seen Patrick Mahomes turn it on in the playoffs. They’re likely making the conference championship game at least, right?
It’s likely, but one area they could improve in 2025 is at the left tackle spot and in the secondary. I went with safety Nick Emmanwori from South Carolina. KC will give up a good bit of yards through the air, and their secondary is clearly not as good as it has been in previous years, so this is a logical position for me.
However, you could argue that they take an OT at this point, as they have had success developing mid and late-round defensive backs in prior years. Perhaps losing L’Jarius Sneed is having more of an impact than they thought.
32. Detroit Lions - Landon Jackson, EDGE, Arkansas
At pick 32 to close out our latest NFL mock draft, the Detroit Lions take Landon Jackson, an EDGE from Arkansas. The Lions tragically lost stud defensive end Aidan Hutchinson earlier this year, and there are rumors that Hutchinson could be back very late in the season.
The Lions have taken some time to get their defense right, and despite all of their injuries to that unit this year, it’s a top-5 unit in football. I would continue making a strength a strength, so Lions GM Brad Holmes, who is the best in the business at what he does, takes a defensive lineman in the first round in the 2025 NFL Draft.
There you have it, our latest 2025 NFL Mock Draft.
