The NFL trade market is heating up, so the 2025 NFL Draft could see some major player trades happen. Let's get into our latest mock draft. Top names like Myles Garrett, Jonathan Allen, Cooper Kupp, Deebo Samuel, and even Matthew Stafford could be on the move this offseason.

This could make the 2025 NFL Draft incredibly dramatic, and we have seen some major trades take place during the NFL Draft in recent years. One of the more notable ones was when the Tennessee Titans sent AJ Brown to the Philadelphia Eagles.

There could be multiple trades of that caliber that could go down during the 2025 NFL Draft this year. The free agency class is also not super deep, so teams may want to swing a player trade to find some immediate production at certain positions.

Let's get into our latest 2025 NFL Mock Draft with two massive trades.

2025 NFL Mock Draft: Latest three-round mock contains two massive trades

1. Tennessee Titans - Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State

I am sure the Tennessee Titans are actually keeping an open mind with the first overall pick.  They probably do not like a QB enough to use the first overall pick on if they are willing to trade down.  With this draft class being a weaker one overall, it would benefit them to accept a trade-down offer, but they do not get one they like in this 2025 NFL Mock Draft.

When you look at the top of the class, there is one prospect that is above the rest, and that is Abdul Carter from Penn State.  Even if pass-rusher is not the most urgent need for the Titans, they are in a position to be stacking as much talented as possible.  They could put off the franchise QB hunt until next offseason.

2. Cleveland Browns - Mason Graham, DT, Michigan

At pick two in this NFL Mock Draft, the Cleveland Browns take Mason Graham, the talented DT from Michigan.  Spoiler alert: the Browns are going to be making a huge trade later on in this mock draft.  The Browns are a lot like the Titans, but the teams got their in different ways.

Cleveland saw the Deshaun Watson trade blow up in their face over the past few seasons, and with Watson having torn his Achilles again, the team may not see him get back onto the field in their uniform, but this weak QB class has them going in another direction.

3. New York Giants - Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

I have no idea how many times I have talked about just how awful the New York Giants are and just how brutal their recent mistakes have been.  It has now all culminated in them being forced to take a QB in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft, and they settle on Shedeur Sanders in this mock draft.

The main issue here is that Sanders would have clearly been the seventh or eighth-best QB in the 2024 NFL Draft.  And the Giants had the sixth overall pick last year, passing up on Bo Nix, Michael Penix Jr, and JJ McCarthy.  Sanders is not a stellar prospect and may have a very low ceiling in the NFL.

The G-Men have no choice, though.  Joe Schoen is their General Manager and has done a horrific job in his short tenure.  You have to figure that if New York does not make notable progress in 2025, this front office and coaching staff could get reset in a big way.  Sanders to the Giants at pick three in this NFL Mock Draft.

4. New England Patriots - Will Campbell, OT, LSU

Will Campbell is a safe pick for the New England Patriots at pick four.  And yes, should the team really make a ‘safe’ pick with a top-5 selection in the NFL Draft?  I think for this team and their situation, the answer is yes.  The Pats have something special in Drake Maye, and it would not shock me to see this team take a huge leap ion 2025.

However, the offensive line just might be the worst in the NFL, and no NFL team sustains success without being good in the trenches.  New England also needs more playmakers on offense, but OL is a more pressing need.

Campbell might be a sure-thing type of player who has a lower ceiling at left tackle but could also have an extremely high floor as a stable starter for a decade-plus.  Drake Maye needs protection, or the development is going to go off the rails.  Will Campbell makes all the sense in the world for this team at pick four in the 2025 NFL Draft.

5. Jacksonville Jaguars - Travis Hunter, CB, Colorado

The Jacksonville Jaguars just hired someone who is 34 years old to be the General Manager of their team.  It is quite insane how young the Jags have gotten this offseason, but it could be for the better.  The Jags have needs on both sides of the ball, but they don’t have a bad roster by any means.  I understand that it is easy to bash former GM Trent Baalke, but he did hit on some draft picks.,

The Jaguars could compete for the AFC South in 2025 if the right players are sprinkled into this roster, and Travis Hunter could be one of them.  He won the Heisman Trophy in 2024 and can play both CB and WR in the NFL.  He probably settles more in at cornerback, which is an urgent need for the team.

But being that Liam Coen, their new head coach, is an offensive mind, I am sure he would have certain packages to deploy Hunter on offense.  He might just be a historically good athlete, and that is not a hyperbole at all.

Hunter to the Jags at pick five in this 2025 NFL Mock Draft.

6. Las Vegas Raiders - Cameron Ward, QB, Miami (FL)

Cam Ward falling into the laps of the Las Vegas Raiders would be a great scenario for them.  Here in pick six, the Raiders make the move and set-up what could be a viable long-term QB situation.  Vegas would need to bring in a veteran bridge QB for a year or two, and I do wonder how willing the Seattle Seahawks would be to trade Geno Smith?

Smith could play for his old coach in Pete Carroll and could hold the fort down for a year or so.  Anyway, the Raiders aren’t going to make any progress in the loaded AFC until they draft and develop a quarterback.  Well, could Cam Ward be that guy?

Carroll also isn’t likely coaching for a super long time, so this could be a neat scenario for the head coach, as he could leave the team in great hands if Ward is able to develop.  Vegas also needs some defensive help as always and could absolutely use a RB1 and another wide receiver as well.

The focal point of the offense will be Brock Bowers until further notice.

7. New York Jets - Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia

The New York Jets may have taken Cam Ward if he fell into their laps at pick seven, but here in this NFL Mock Draft, the Jets were not able to trade up to pick one or grab either Shedeur Sanders or Cam Ward.

Mykel Williams is their pick as they get more stout along the defensive line.  The new General Manager for the Jets is Darren Mougey, who was with the Denver Broncos for quite a while.  They also hired Aaron Glenn, who was formerly an assistant on Sean Payton’s New Orleans Saints staff.

So, there are a lot of Broncos connections here.  New York is probably not going to be a very competitive team in 2025, but they do have enough talent to stay in just about every single game.  I would expect this team could entertain pursing a veteran QB for a year, but Tyrod Taylor is in the mix, and he is very capable for a year.

Mougey may want to look more toward the 2026 NFL Draft for the New York Jets to find their franchise passer.  This could be better than risking it with Sanders or Ward, who are not great prospects by any means.

8. Carolina Panthers - Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona

Bryce Young getting benched seems to have helped him down the stretch in the 2024 NFL Season, but he still isn’t quite there yet.  Year three is going to be huge for the young QB and the Carolina Panthers, who have to get another cornerback, pass rusher, and another weapon,.

At pick eight, Tetairoa McMillian is right there at pick eight and would make a lot of sense.  Many have compared him to Drake London at the NFL level, which would be an accurate comparison.  Young would absolutely benefit from having a player of his caliber.

The NFC South is also wide open, so if the Panthers have a strong offseason and fill some needs, there could be something frisky with this team heading into the 2025 NFL Season.  It would not shock me to see Carolina take a pass rusher here, but the WR class in the 2025 NFL Draft is not all that deep, so it might be wise to grab the best one.

9. New Orleans Saints - Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State

New Orleans Saints head coach Kellen Moore would probably love a dynamic weapon like Tyler Warren.  The team also simply needs to get more talent on the roster, as the roster right now is old and expensive.  General Manager Mickey Loomis has frankly done a terrible job at managing this roster in recent years, and the bubble is about to burst.

Hiring a new head coach gives the Saints every single reason to reset a little bit and to land a blue-chip prospect in the first round.  Tyler Warren can do it all from the TE position and could be a great weapon for Derek Carr in 2025.

That is, unless the Saints opt to trade or cut Carr, which I am sure can be an option.  Tyler Warren at pick nine to the New Orleans Saints in this 2025 NFL Mock Draft.

10. Chicago Bears - James Pearce Jr, EDGE, Tennessee

Needing another pass rusher, the Chicago Bears take James Pearce Jr from Tennessee at pick 10.  The Bears also need to improve their offensive line, but I would expect that they could address the OL in free agency.  They also do not have to take someone along the offensive line in the first round.

I understand that position is one to improve, and being that Caleb Williams is the QB, the offense will be under a microscope, but this team has other needs.  Getting Pearce would boost the DL and give the Bears the missing piece they need for that unit.

Dennis Allen is also their new defensive coordinator, and he has shown a great ability as a coordinator but has failed during his time as a head coach.  James Pearce Jr to the Chicago Bears at pick 10 in this NFL Mock Draft.

11. San Francisco 49ers - Armand Membou, OT, Missouri

Someone who may go higher than expected is Armand Membou, the offensive lineman from Missouri.  Membou is probably going to kick inside at the NFL level, but there is nothing wrong with that.  The San Francisco 49ers have to shift their thinking a bit and invest more along their OL.

The unit has always kind of been average, and it’s even been average when Trent Williams is healthy and in the lineup.  The major move this team has made thus far this offseason is re-hiring Robert Saleh back as their defensive coordinator, and with the roster getting a bit old and brittle, you would think that they would perhaps try to rebuild a bit.

Well, it does not seem like that’s the way they will go.  I reckon that they will try to retool the roster while remaining competitive, and this is kind of what the Minnesota Vikings have been doing.  The Niners will also have to decide if they want to extend Brock Purdy at a figure that is surely going to be north of $50 million per season.

This is going to be a massive offseason for the San Francisco 49ers.  Armand Membou at pick 11 is solid.

12. Dallas Cowboys - Kelvin Banks Jr, OT, Texas

The Dallas Cowboys take Kelvin Banks Jr at pick 12 in this 2025 NFL Mock Draft.  What a mess this franchise is right now.  They let Mike McCarthy walk out the door and have since hired long-time NFL assistant Brian Schottenheimer as their next head coach.

They just saw long-time guard Zack Martin retire and have a top-heavy roster and a QB who is making more than he should.  Until they get out from under the Dak Prescott contract, the Cowboys won’t be very good.

However, Prescott is a very solid QB, but he will be coming off of a pretty nasty hamstring injury suffered during the 2024 NFL Season, and is is now into his 30s.  The other big thing to note with Dallas this offseason is how they approach the contract situation with Micah Parsons.  We saw this team get cute with Prescott’s extension and the extension for CeeDee Lamb.  Will they make it 3/3 and do the same with Parsons?

All that aside for a second, they take Kelvin Banks Jr and hope that he can be another young force along their OL for years to come.

13. Miami Dolphins - Tyler Booker, OG, Alabama

I would have to think that the 2025 NFL Season is going to be huge for the Miami Dolphins.  With some of the key players slowly getting older and the team’s QB not being able to stay consistently healthy, you get the feeling that major changes could be coming next offseason if they fail to get it done this season.

And I think the Dolphins would have to at least win a playoff game for the operation to continue.  One area of the roster that could be improved and could help the Dolphins play in the cold is the offensive line.  Tyler Booker is one of the more sure-fire prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft and is a day one starter at guard.

The Dolphins should not hesitate to submit his draft card if he is there at pick 13.  They could probably also use a running back and a tight end.  Heck, they could use a lot of things, but overall, the roster isn’t terrible and it is plenty good enough for this team to win 10-ish games in 2025 and compete for a Wild Card spot.

Much of their success will depend on the health of Tua Tagovailoa.

14. Indianapolis Colts - Malaki Starks, S, Georgia

I truly have no idea how the Indianapolis Colts will do in 2025.  They have a nice roster overall, but are missing the main QB piece with Anthony Richardson, who has truly been awful in his two-year NFL career.  Now to be fair to Richardson, a guy like Josh Allen did not breakout until year three, so perhaps the raw Richardson could be a late-bloomer.

If he is, the Colts will be a dangerous team, but they cannot neglect their needs in the offseason.  One area they have to address is the secondary.  They need another safety and another cornerback, so I went with Malaki Starks from Georgia here in the middle of the first round.

You also get the feeling that Chris Ballard might be on his last straw as the team’s GM.  He’s got virtually no broad success as the GM and has survived in the GM chair a lot longer than I thought he would have.

15. Atlanta Falcons - Will Johnson, CB, Michigan

The Atlanta Falcons are approaching a huge offseason here in 2025.  This team had playoff hopes in 2025, but the decline of Kirk Cousins spelled their demise.  However, GM Terry Fontenot may have saved his job by taking Michael Penix Jr at pick eight in the 2024 NFL Draft.

If they had their eyes on Penix the entire time, signing Kirk Cousins makes zero sense, but here we are.  If I had to guess, Cousins is probably not on the team in 2025 and the Falcons go full-force all-in with Penix.

There is a lot to like with the young QB, and with the personnel around him on offense being strong, he could enjoy some success.  Atlanta has to fix their inept defense, so they take Michigan cornerback Will Johnson at pick 15 here in this mock draft.

They also need another safety and some pass rush help.  Their defensive line is old, so the DL could be a first-round need for them here.  For now, though, they address the secondary.

16. Arizona Cardinals - Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

Ashton Jeanty falling to pick 16 was a bit of a shock, but here we are.  Even with James Conner in the mix, the Arizona Cardinals cannot pass up on the possibility of taking Jeanty, who is the clear-cut best RB in the 2025 NFL Draft class.

He also may be a top-3 player in the entire 2025 NFL Draft and projects out to be an elite NFL player.  The Cardinals doubled their win total from 2023 and managed to win eight games in 2024.  I am telling you right now; this team has the right coaching staff in place and simply needs to acquire more talent.

If GM Monti Ossenfort can do that, the Cards will win double-digit games in 2025 and compete for the NFC West.  Heck, they could win the division next year, especially if the Los Angeles Rams decide to trade away QB Matthew Stafford.

Ashton Jeanty and Marvin Harrison Jr become the two focal points of the offense in Arizona after this draft pick.

17. Cincinnati Bengals - Jalon Walker, EDGE, Georgia

I am not sure the Cincinnati Bengals will truly be able to pay all of Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and Trey Hendrickson this coming offseason.  While they have the cap space to do so, the Bengals are a cheap and outdated franchise, so they may do cheap and outdated things.

With how important Joe Burrow and the offense is to their success, it would not shock me if they just weren’t able to get anything done with Hendrickson, the NFL sack leader in 2024.  That could prompt them to perhaps consider a trade.

Even in the event that Hendrickson were to return to the mix in 2025, the Bengals need more defensive help, so at pick 17 in this NFL Mock Draft, I went with pass rusher Jalon Walker.  Cincy hired a new defensive coordinator and will probably try and find some immediate-impact defensive players in free agency and the 2025 NFL Draft.

Jalon Walker could be an immediate impact layer.

18. Seattle Seahawks - Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State

The Seattle Seahawks have to get better along their offensive line in the 2025 NFL Offseason.  It’s a huge need for them, but the need for a long-term QB is also present.  The QB part probably won’t happen this offseason, but they can at least lay the groundwork for this.

Getting Josh Simmons gives them a much-needed starter along their offensive line, and the unit was even iffy before Connor Williams unexpectedly retired in the middle of the 2024 NFL Season.  Seattle managed to win 10 games in 2024 but were the only double-digit win team to not make the postseason.

That’s kind of the story with Geno Smith - he’s good enough to be average, if that makes sense.  I would expect some major changes coming for the Seahawks in the 2026 NFL Offseason.  They may hold firm in 2025.

19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Matthew Golden, WR, Texas

Matthew Golden is a polished prospect and someone who may sneak into the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft.  The wide receiver class is not all that great, but Golden does profile nicely at the next level.  The Tampa Bay Buccaneers did lose former offensive coordinator Liam Coen to the Jacksonville Jaguars head coaching job, and additionally, Chris Godwin is a free agent.

They could benefit from bringing in another weapon at WR.  Mike Evans is also getting old, so there’s that.  The Bucs feel like the epitome of a good team, and if you ask me, an eventual upgrade over Baker Mayfield could put this team over the edge, but Mayfield was pretty darn good in 2024.

The Buccaneers settle on Matthew Golden from Texans in the first round of this 2025 NFL Mock Draft.  I would also add that them taking a cornerback or pass rusher here at pick 19 makes a ton of sense for this team as well.

20. Denver Broncos - Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State

A player that has a great shot at being an excellent pro and someone who comes from a great school for the position, Emeka Egbuka is the stud Ohio State wide receiver and fits the Denver Broncos offense like a glove.  He can block, can run sharp routes, and has adequate size for the position.  He is in the mold of guys like Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave, two former WRs from Ohio State.

Denver has to find a compliment to Courtland Sutton and Marvin Mims Jr, their big-bodied target and their gadget player.  You may think that the team made a mistake passing up on Colston Loveland, but the TE class in the 2025 NFL Draft is insanely deep, buy the same cannot be said for the WR position.

It would make a lot of sense for Denver to take Egbuka in the first round and target a TE and even a running back in the later rounds.  Emeka Egbuka makes a ton of sense for the Denver Broncos and to help elevate Bo Nix in year two.

21. Pittsburgh Steelers - Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri

The Pittsburgh Steelers could be players for a major quarterback upgrade, but there may not be a clear-cut upgrade available.  We will see if the team is able to pull off a major trade later on in this NFL Mock Draft…

Pittsburgh needs another wide receiver, and they could totally reset the room depending on how they feel about George Pickens, who does come with some personality quirks.  The Steelers also need to figure out how to get with the program in today’s NFL.

They seem to be stuck in 2008 and still seem to think they can win a Super Bowl with average QB play and good defenses.  That just isn’t going to work in today’s NFL.  Luther Burden III is their pick with the 21st selection.  He is an explosive player with similarities to Deebo Samuel and Garrett Wilson.

He could be an immediate contributor on offense regardless of who is playing the QB position.

22. Los Angeles Chargers - Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan

Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh is getting yet another Michigan player on his team, and Colston Loveland does fill a legitimate need for this team.  The Chargers need more production from their playmakers on offense, and they could stand to add more talent at RB, WR, and TE this offseason.  The RB and TE draft classes are very deep, but the Chargers cannot pass up on Loveland, who played for Harbaugh.  Loveland is actually a better blocker than people think and is going to be an immediate contributor in the receiving game for LA.

The team took Ladd McConkey in the 2024 NFL Draft, so they now have a young and encouraging duo with McConkey and Loveland.

This pick almost makes too much sense.  Watch out for the Chargers to explode in 2025.

23. Green Bay Packers - Shavon Revel, CB, East Carolina

The Green Bay Packers are likely set to move on from Jaire Alexanders this coming offseason and may need to fill another starting CB spot this coming offseason.  Shavon Revel did tear his ACL early into the 2024 college football season, but he could be ready for Week 1 of the 2025 NFL Season.

However, he’s the first-round pick for the Packers, a team that feels right on the cusp of taking the next step.  With the Detroit Lions losing both of their coordinators to head coaching jobs and the Minnesota Vikings likely turning to a de-facto rookie GM in JJ McCarthy, the Packers might have an avenue to take a leap.

It would not shock me to see the Packers win another game or two in 2025 and actually come away with the title.  They won 11 games in 2024 and are missing a few elite players, but this offseason could be where they put the finishing touches on.

24. Minnesota Vikings - Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina

One area for the Minnesota Vikings that could get a total makeover in the offseason is the secondary.  This is going to be a huge unit to upgrade for GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah, who seems to be building something sustainable.  They could also use a true RB1 and another interior offensive lineman as well.

However, the physically imposing Nick Emmanwori makes a ton of sense for them in the latter part of the first round here in this mock draft.  In 2024, the Vikings were one of the most surprising teams in the NFL, winning 14 games and nearly coming away with the NFC North title.

They won 14 games but had to settle for a Wild Card seed, losing in the first round of the playoffs to the Los Angeles Rams.  The final few weeks of the season did truly show perhaps why Sam Darnold may not be their long-term QB option, as his ceiling seems to be a bit low when the stakes get high.

Now to be fair, Darnold played extremely well in 2024, but I would guess that the Vikes trot out JJ McCarthy for Week 1 of 2025 with a few new defensive starters.

25. Houston Texans - Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon

The Houston Texans went 10-7 in the 2024 NFL Season and won the AFC South for a second year in a row.  Like in 2023, they also won a single playoff game and lost in the Divisional Round.  It’s actually quite impressive that they were essentially able to have identical seasons in 2023 and 2024.

And much of the talk with the Texans was how they took a step back in 2024, but they did make the postseason.  Houston has to get stronger in the trenches, especially along the interior offensive line, but they grab Derrick Harmon from Oregon at pick 25 in this 2025 NFL Mock Draft.

I could anticipate the Texans addressing their iOL in free agency, and if they were able to snag Trey Smith from the Kansas City Chiefs, that would be stellar.  This is going to be a huge year for CJ Stroud and the Texans - can they take the next step into legitimate contention?

26. Los Angeles Rams - Cameron Williams, OT, Texas

You may want to continue reading through this 2025 NFL Mock Draft, as we have a huge trade involving the Los Angeles Rams.  Even if we put this trade to the side for a second, the Rams do need some OL help.  Rob Havenstein, their right tackle, is old, and their left tackle, Alaric Jackson, is set to be a free agent in 2025.

Even if both players are still in the picture for 2025, the OT position is still one to address for the future, and the Rams have done a really nice job at building for the future and being proactive in that regard.

That’s a huge reason why I mocked Texas tackle Cameron Williams to them at the bottom of the first round.  This could be a great payoff in the long-term for the Rams, and beyond the offensive line, the Rams are also going to need to bring in some young talent in the secondary, and will also need a franchise quarterback for the long-term.

Matthew Stafford does have permission to seek a trade partner, so could a divorce be coming between the Rams and Stafford here in the coming weeks?  Maybe…

27. Baltimore Ravens - Jahdae Barron, DB, Texas

Someone who plays a lot like Brian Branch, Jahdae Barron at pick 27 for the Baltimore Ravens is a huge steal in my opinion.  This could be a logical case of a team simply taking the best player available.  But when you look at the Baltimore Ravens, where are the clear-cut needs?

The Ravens have gotten so close to the Super Bowl for several years, so that could actually make it harder to figure how what a team needs to get over the hump.  They have not won multiple games in the postseason since winning the Super Bowl back in 2012.  Yes, it has been that long.

Lamar Jackson was also robbed of the NFL MVP in 2024, so it’s not been a good couple of months for the Ravens.  At some point, they have to make a Super Bowl run, right?  Perhaps Jahdae Barron at pick 27 could put the defense over the edge.

Targeting someone along the offensive line makes a lot of sense here as well.

28. Detroit Lions - Mike Green, EDGE, Marshall

If not for some brutal defensive injuries in the 2024 NFL Season, we could be talking about the Detroit Lions having won the Super Bowl and picking 32nd overall here in the first round.  Well, that was not the case, and even with them earning the no. 1 seed in the NFC and the bye week, they got booted out in the first round by the Washington Commanders.

And to top it off, the Lions lost both Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn to head coaching jobs, so this team is a logical candidate to regress in 2025.  They do need to continue adding bodies to their defensive line, so I went with Mike Green here from Marshall.

Green was tearing it up at the Senior Bowl and is probably going to have his name called in the first 20 picks, actually.  Him dropping to 28 in this 2025 NFL Mock Draft may not be fair to how talented of a player he is.

Mike Green to the Detroit Lions at pick 28 in this NFL Mock Draft.

29. Washington Commanders - Nic Scourton, EDGE, Texas A&M

It would not shock me if the Washington Commanders swung a major trade this offseason.  They have the draft capital and the financial resources to pull something off.  This team was outstanding in 2024 with rookie QB sensation Jayden Daniels.

They went 12-5 in the regular season and won 14 total games in 2024, making it within one game of the Super Bowl.  Washington was probably not expected to make the playoffs, let alone face the Philadelphia Eagles in the conference championship game, but here we are.

The team is now slated to pick 29th in the 2025 NFL Draft, and another pass rusher makes a lot of sense for this team.  Heck, if you told me they were able to come away with Myles Garrett, I would not be shocked.

For now, though, they won’t pull that trade off here.  They will instead take Texas A&M pass rusher Nic Scourton and continue building through the NFL Draft.

30. Cleveland Browns (via BUF) - Walter Nolen, DT, Ole Miss

Here we go!  The Cleveland Browns are going to make the right move for the long-term and send Myles Garrett to a new team.  The full trade package is below.

But the main part of the deal for this 2025 NFL Mock Draft is the first-round pick coming to the Browns to the Buffalo Bills.  Buffalo gets Garrett and truly puts a bow on what could be an elite defensive line in 2025.

The Browns take their second defensive tackle of the first round and grab Walter Nolen from Ole Miss.  Cleveland isn’t messing around with the trenches in the event that they do indeed trade Garrett.  This could be one of the more major moves we see in quite some time, but it’s the right move at the end of the day.

Cleveland is in a rebuilding mode, and the Bills simply need to get a few elite players to perhaps finally get over the edge in the NFL playoffs.  They again fell to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game.  Myles Garrett to the Buffalo Bills as one major trade in this 2025 NFL Mock Draft.

31. Kansas City Chiefs - Josh Conerly Jr, OT, Oregon

There should be no shock that the Kansas City Chiefs take a tackle with their first-round pick.  The Chiefs offensive line could undergo some major change this offseason.  The most notable thing going on with the OL is that Trey Smith, their stud right guard, is a free agent.

If Smith were to leave, he would likely reset the guard market.  The Chiefs do not have a ton of cap space, so whatever deal they are able to get done would be tough to complete if you ask me.  We have seen Kansas City kick their other stud guard, Joe Thuney, out to left tackle at times.

That isn’t a sustainable move unless they want to make it permanent, which would be silly.  The Chiefs take Josh Conerly Jr, the tackle from Oregon.  And heck, Jawaan Taylor hasn’t been all that good for them at right tackle, either.  General Manager Brett Veach may have to again, in the near future, overhaul the offensive line like he did after the Chiefs got blown out in the Super Bowl against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers back in the 2020 NFL Season.

Josh Conerly heads to the Chiefs at pick 31 in this NFL Mock Draft.

32. Philadelphia Eagles - Tyleik Williams, DT, Ohio State

Now yes, you might find it annoying that the Philadelphia Eagles take another defensive lineman in the NFL Draft, but the team could lose both Milton Williams and Josh Sweat in free agency.  Zack Baun, their stud inside linebacker, is also set to hit the open market.  It truly would not shock me if one of Williams or Sweat was not with the team in 2025.

That could open up a need and give GM Howie Roseman every reason to dip into the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft to grab someone else along the defensive line.  Tyleik Williams is the pick as the Eagles stick to what got them to Super Bowl LIX, where they took apart the Kansas City Chiefs.

They also won the Super Bowl back in 2017 with a similar roster.  Roseman puts a huge emphasis on the trenches, and it’s the way to sustain success in the NFL.  I could see Philly actually taking an ILB here if Baun leaves, or even a guard if Mekhi Becton leaves in free agency as well.  For now, let’s go with Tyleik Williams.

Round 2

Let’s get into the second round, highlighting the key selections.

33. Cleveland Browns - Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame
34. New York Giants - Aireontae Ersery, OT, Minnesota
35. Tennessee Titans - Jonah Savaiinaea, OT, Arizona
36. Jacksonville Jaguars - Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan
37. Las Vegas Raiders - Xavier Watts, S, Notre Dame
38. New England Patriots - Harold Fannin Jr, TE, Bowling Green
39. Chicago Bears - Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama
40. New Orleans Saints - Omarion Hampton, RB, North Carolina
41. Chicago Bears - Shemar Stewart, EDGE, Texas A&M
42. New York Jets - Tre Harris, WR, Ole Miss
43. San Francisco 49ers - Tre Amos, CB, Ole Miss
44. Dallas Cowboys - Jalen Milroe, QB, Alabama
45. Indianapolis Colts - Wyatt Milum, OG, West Virginia
46. Atlanta Falcons - Jack Sawyer, EDGE, Ohio State
47. Arizona Cardinals - Donovan Ezeiruaku, EDGE, Boston College
48. Miami Dolphins - Grey Zabel, OT, North Dakota State
49. Cincinnati Bengals - Donovan Jackson, OG, Ohio State
50. Seattle Seahawks - Landon Jackson, EDGE, Arkansas

The Los Angeles Rams did it. They actually traded Matthew Stafford to the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the full trade is below.

LA acquires picks 52 and 83 from the Steelers for Stafford, who, after four years in LA, now figures to finish his NFL career with Pittsburgh, who is in desperate need of stable, high-end QB play. Matthew Stafford can definitely provide that for a few seasons, and Pittsburgh does have enough cap space and need to extend Stafford at the price he wants.

This is a huge move that could end up being the biggest of the 2025 NFL Offseason.

In their second pick coming back in the 2025 NFL Draft for the Myles Garrett trade, the Cleveland Browns take RB TreVeyon Henderson from Ohio State. This is a solid pick for the Browns after investing a little bit into their trenches on the defensive side of the ball.

It’s a new era in Cleveland, but the bigger question is who the heck is playing QB for them in the 2025 NFL Season? Let’s get into the third and final round of this NFL Mock Draft.

101. Detroit Lions - Dorian Strong, CB, Virginia Tech

The second pick heading to the Los Angeles Rams in the major Matthew Stafford trade is the 83rd overall selection. The Rams bolster their weak ILB room and take Chris Paul Jr from Ole Miss. The Rams making this bold move to trade Stafford signals the beginning of a new era for the team.

At pick 92, the New York Jets take Quinn Ewers and get some decent value with this being in the back-half of the third round. The Jets aren’t going to be a very competitive team in 2025, so grabbing a developmental QB prospect in year one of a new regime makes a ton of sense if you ask me.

The very next pick sees the New Orleans Saints grabbing Will Howard from Ohio State. In the same vein as the Jets; the Saints are not going to be competitive in 2025 and do need to try and find a franchise QB. Howard might be in a great spot if he’s developed by Kellen Moore, who is a sharp offensive mind.

There you have it; our latest three-round 2025 NFL Mock Draft.
