With the 2025 NFL Draft officially beginning this week, we have rolled out a seven-round mock draft to get you ready for the real thing. We've not yet rolled out a seven-round mock draft until today. With the draft beginning in four days, the final preparations from teams are surely being made.

The 2025 NFL Draft class is an interesting one - the QB class is weaker and the blue-chip talent is not there, but this could be a good draft to simply find good, solid football players. The player you take with the 10th pick might be similar to the player you take with the 25th pick.

However, all of that could be untrue if these prospects end up being better than expected. We're nearing the final countdown of the 2025 NFL Draft after long last.

Let's celebrate that a bit with this seven-round mock.

2025 NFL Mock Draft: Complete seven-round mock draft predictions

Round 1

1. Tennessee Titans - Cam Ward, QB, Miami (FL)

The first pick in the 2025 NFL Draft is likely set in stone at this point. The Tennessee Titans should be taking Cam Ward, the best quarterback in the class. This is a weaker QB class, but if nothing else, there is no doubt who the top prospect is.

Ward is more on the raw side and will need some refinement, but the ceiling is there and the qualities that he already has down pat are very enticing. The Titans new GM is Mike Borgonzi, and this should be his first draft pick for the franchise.

2. Cleveland Browns - Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado

Travis Hunter may primarily play wide receiver for the Cleveland Browns but is plenty good enough to play both sides of the ball. Hunter is perhaps the Shohei Ohtani of football and should make an immediate impact in Cleveland. If nothing else, Hunter should help the Cleveland Browns sell more tickets.

He is the second overall pick in our seven-round mock draft.

3. New York Giants - Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State

The New York Giants have studied up a ton on Shedeur Sanders, and it seems like that is still firmly a possibility with the third overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. However, the Giants signed both Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston and do not necessarily have to reach for Sanders at pick three.

Frankly, Sanders is not a special prospect at all and has been compared to NFL passers like Teddy Bridgewater and Geno Smith - so yeah - not great. New York will instead grab Abdul Carter with this pick and continue to load up on the defensive side of the ball.

It would not shock me if the Giants tried to trade up in the first round to land Sanders, but they could also stay put at the top of the second round and likely be able to grab someone like Jalen Milroe or Jaxson Dart. Carter to the Giants at pick three.

4. New England Patriots - Will Campbell, OT, LSU

Will Campbell might just be the missing piece along the offensive line for the New England Patriots, and I truly believe people need to stop complaining about his arm length. Campbell is a well-rounded left tackle prospect and might be able to bring stability on the left side of the offensive line for the Pats, who also signed right tackle Morgan Moses in free agency.

Protecting Drake Maye has to be this team's top priority heading into the 2025 NFL Season, so potential OL additions of Moses, Campbell, and center Garrett Bradbury could be what keeps Maye upright and helps him flourish in his second year in the NFL.

It truly would not shock me if the Patriots surprised many people across the league in 2025 and were better than expected.

5. Jacksonville Jaguars - Mason Graham, DT, Michigan

This should not be a surprising pick for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Their first-year GM, James Gladstone, came from the Los Angeles Rams organization, and what did the Rams just do so well over the past few draft cycles?

They rebuilt the defensive line in a massive way, hitting on a ton of draft picks. There is not a secret formula to sustaining success and winning games in the NFL - you find the franchise QB and get strong in the trenches. When a team does that, most of their issues vanish overnight.

I do believe Trevor Lawrence is a franchise QB, but he has not played as well as many of us thought he would. To be fair, though, the Jaguars have been horribly dysfunctional during his time in the NFL. Well, the Jags hope to stop that dysfunction with Gladstone leading the way. They'll use the fifth pick in this NFL mock draft on the best defensive tackle in the draft, Mason Graham from Michigan.

6. Las Vegas Raiders - Armand Membou, OT, Missouri

The Las Vegas Raiders might be the first team that can realistically take Ashton Jeanty from Boise State, but if they were smart and looked at their roster seriously, they would see that Armand Membou should be the pick. Membou is a flat-out stellar athlete and a long-term starter along the offensive line for the Raiders.

Their new GM is Geno Smith, who the Raiders acquired from the Seattle Seahawks for a third-round pick. The main issue with the Smith era in Seattle was the poor offensive line. The Raiders have to ensure their OL is competent enough to keep their QB upright.

Armand Membou is the smart pick for this franchise, and they truly should not overthink it here.

7. New York Jets - Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State

The New York Jets could use a well-rounded player like Tyler Warren on their offense. The team doesn't have much at all at TE and apparently are very interested in him. He's the best prospect in the 2025 NFL Draft and can both block and catch.

The Jets have to get another weapon or two for Justin Fields or whoever they decide is their long-term QB. This might seem like a very rich spot for a tight end, but he's one of the few blue-chip prospect in this draft class.

New York blew it up this past offseason, bringing in Aaron Glenn as their new head coach and Darren Mougey. Glenn was recently the defensive coordinator with the Detroit Lions, and Mougey spent years in the Denver Broncos front office.

8. Denver Broncos (via CAR) - Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

Trade! The Denver Broncos make a major trade, moving up 12 slots with the Carolina Panthers to take Ashton Jeanty, a generational running back prospect from Boise State. The Broncos truly might be an Ashton Jeanty away from legitimate contention, and Denver's roster is plenty good enough to make a bold move like this in the first round.

Denver will have to part with draft capital to make this happen, but we do know that Panthers GM Dan Morgan straight-up said that they would be interested in moving down. This eighth pick could be a logical spot for Broncos GM George Paton to execute this move for Jeanty.

It'll be interesting to see if a team like the Jaguars, Raiders, or even Jets take Jeanty. If not, it would not shock me if multiple teams tried to trade up to take the running back, who is the clear-cut best in the NFL Draft class.

9. New Orleans Saints - Tet McMillan, WR, Arizona

The New Orleans Saints have all of a sudden become a very interesting team in the 2025 NFL Draft. Derek Carr is all of a sudden dealing with a shoulder injury that could impact is availability for the 2025 NFL Season. Frankly, this team should not have signed Carr to begin with, but here we are.

The Saints are rudderless and aren't really building to anything notable. They hire Kellen Moore as their new head coach and somehow signed veterans in free agency. What this team needs is a total rebuild - they should blow this roster up and start from scratch. Well, they could slowly begin this process by taking some players in the 2025 NFL Draft who could provide some long-term stability and are also obviously on their cheap rookie contracts.

Tet McMillan is a great wide receiver prospect and is there for the taking with the ninth pick in this NFL mock draft. The Saints could be solid candidates to take a QB here, so Shedeur Sanders must be considered.

10. Chicago Bears - Kelvin Banks Jr, OT, Texas

Kelvin Banks might have both tackle and guard versatility in the NFL. He could be their long-term answer at left tackle. The Chicago Bears invested big-time into their offensive line in free agency, signing Drew Dalman and swinging two trades for Joe Thuney and Jonah Jackson.

All of a sudden, this unit looks quite good, but they do need to try and draft-and-develop at left tackle. Teams can spend big along the offensive line, but home-grown talent is the best talent here.

The Bears take Banks in their efforts to become the Chicago version of the Detroit Lions. New head coach Ben Johnson spent a few years with the Lions as their offensive coordinator.

11. San Francisco 49ers - Will Johnson, CB, Michigan

The San Francisco 49es have commonly been mocked a cornerback in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft. Will Johnson would be a great pick for them, but this team could also look to invest some resources into the trenches and perhaps get stronger along the offensive line.

This team is clearly trying to rebuild a bit, as former key players like Dre Greenlaw, Talanoa Hufanga, and Deebo Samuel have moved on. It would not shock me if other veteran players ended up getting dealt at the NFL trade deadline if the success isn't there.

The Niners don't have a great roster and need to restart a new era of 49ers football. Will Johnson could be a great start, and with them having a ton of draft picks, this could be a franchise-altering rookie class when it's all said and done.

12. Dallas Cowboys - Matthew Golden, WR, Texas

The Dallas Cowboys have again had another terrible offseason with questionable decisions. Mike McCarthy is no longer the head coach, and stud pass rusher Micah Parsons still does not have a long-term deal. Zack Martin retired this offseason, and their biggest free agent signing might have been Javonte Williams.

Who knows what the Cowboys are trying to do for the 2025 NFL Season, but it's probably not going to work. They do need a running mate for CeeDee Lamb on offense and could get that person in Matthew Golden, the well-rounded receiver from Texas.

If nothing else, Dak Prescott should have another viable weapon to throw to, and that could help him return to his old form. He missed much of the 2024 NFL Season with that nasty hamstring injury. Golden to the Cowboys at pick 12 in our latest 2025 NFL mock draft.

13. Miami Dolphins - Tyler Booker, OG, Alabama

Someone who seems to be one of the safer prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft is Tyler Booker, the talented guard from Alabama, and he is a true guard in every sense of the world. The Miami Dolphins are a total mess and do not appear to have any direction. It's unclear how safe GM Chris Grier is at this point, but the latest news coming from Miami is that the team is going to be exploring ways to move on from Jalen Ramsey.

They literally just rewarded him with a fresh extension, so this situation is all a bit odd, and when you couple that with the roster not being all that special and QB Tua Tagovailoa not being good enough to hand with the big-guns in the AFC, the Dolphins are not going to go anywhere in 2025. If nothing else, they can stand to beef up the trenches.

It could help them protect their QB longer and could also help them play a bit more competitively when the weather gets cold. Tyler Booker would be a solid pick for this directionless franchise.

14. Indianapolis Colts - Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan

The Indianapolis Colts do have needs at guard and tight end, and those seem to be their most urgent needs. Well, with Tyler Booker off the board, the Colts pivot to an elite receiving tight end in Colston Loveland, who could be the lone missing weapon on offense.

It's really a shame that the team doesn't have a viable QB, as their weaponry on offense is flat-out legit. Daniel Jones and Anthony Richardson will compete for the starting job in one of the more underwhelming QB situations the NFL has seen in quite some time. Colston Loveland to the Colts with pick 14 in this NFL mock draft.

15. Atlanta Falcons - Jalon Walker, LB/EDGE, Georgia

The Atlanta Falcons might be close to figuring this thing out. They notably drafted Michael Penix Jr with the eighth overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, but that came after signing Kirk Cousins to a four-year deal. Them doing homework at QB like this wasn't necessarily wrong, but they definitely did not have to pay Cousins all of that money if they intended to draft a first-round rookie.

With Penix now clearly the guy in Atlanta, the Falcons have to field the best roster possible, and a strong defense is able to directly help the offense. Atlanta needs to improve and get younger and more explosive along the defensive line. Jalon Walker is a neat player who could potentially float between EDGE and inside linebacker.

He could be that fun utility player that can operate in multiple roles within the defense. He'd be a solid pick for the Falcons in the middle of the first round and is one of the best prospects in this class.

16. Arizona Cardinals - Shemar Stewart, EDGE, Texas A&M

Even after signing Calais Campbell, Josh Sweat, and Dalvin Tomlinson, the Arizona Cardinals are still making huge investments along the defensive line, grabbing some future production with Shemar Stewart. The Cardinals came into the 2025 NFL Offseason with a huge need along the defensive line, and they totally shut the door on that position in a great way.

With another strong NFL Draft class, the Cardinals could legitimately compete for the NFC West title in the 2025 NFL Season. At one point during the 2024 NFL Season, they were 6-4 and in first place, so do not count this team out from being frisky next year.

From 2023 into 2024, they doubled their win total from four to eight.

17. Cincinnati Bengals - Mike Green, EDGE, Marshall

With the uncertainty regarding Trey Hendrickson, it would not be a bad idea for the Cincinnati Bengals to draft a first-round pass rusher. As of now, there is nothing to indicate that the Bengals and Hendrickson will agree to a long-term deal, so a trade could be on the horizon.

Cincy was able to get two deals done for Tee Higgins and Ja'Marr Chase, but what they probably should have done is extend Chase and Hendrickson, trading Higgins instead. This roster isn't all that great and is pretty top-heavy if you ask me.

They'll need to hit on some immediate-impact players on defense if they want to get back to the postseason for the first time since the 2022 season. They have gone 9-8 in each of the last two years and sported one of the NFL's worst defenses in the 2024 season.

Mike Green could instantly help the defensive line and is their pick in this mock draft.

18. Seattle Seahawks - Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State

The Seattle Seahawks need some offensive line help in the worst way and could truly take a guard or tackle. Seattle notably moved on from Geno Smith, trading him to the Las Vegas Raiders for a third-round pick. They take Josh Simmons in this mock draft and will now try to build a contending team around Sam Darnold.

Seattle won 10 games last year but missed the playoffs, which kind of tells you what position they were in as a franchise with Geno Smith as their QB. If nothing else, Darnold at least gives you a higher ceiling, as he is a better athlete and has a better arm than Smith does.

The Seattle Seahawks take Ohio State tackle Josh Simmons in our latest NFL mock draft.

19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina

It is obvious that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers need some help in the secondary, so while you may be bored of seeing a defensive back mocked to the team in the first round, it's a need. Tampa again won the NFC South in 2024; they finished 10-7 but lost in the Wild Card Round to the Washington Commanders.

This team is good, and nothing more. Baker Mayfield did have the best year of his career last season, but his offensive coordinator, Liam Coen, is now the head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Bucs will again have a new play-caller but should still remain atop the division.

I could see the Atlanta Falcons making a push, but until further notice, the Buccaneers should again be the favorites.

20. Carolina Panthers (via DEN) - Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas

With the Denver Broncos having traded up with the Carolina Panthers, the Panthers are now picking at the Broncos original first-round slot - pick 20. The Panthers were still able to land an elite prospect in Jahdae Barron, a defensive back from Texas who is like Brian Branch in that both can play all over the secondary.

GM Dan Morgan has really been an aggressive GM during his short tenure with the team, and it's all centered around trying to give Bryce Young everything he needs to success. And yes, a competent defense will help out Young and the offense in 2025.

The Panthers will need to add another body at wide receiver at some point in the 2025 NFL Draft, but if things continue to click for the young QB, the Panthers might be able to make a run at the NFC South in 2025. Barron to the Panthers at pick 20 in our latest NFL mock draft.

21. Pittsburgh Steelers - Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

The Pittsburgh Steelers being able to grab Shedeur Sanders at pick 21 would be the ideal scenario. The biggest threat to the Steelers quest to take Sanders, if that is what they want, is a team leap-frogging them with a trade up to the 20th pick, for example. Well, that did not happen in this mock draft, as Steelers GM Omar Khan is able to stay put and take who they hope to be their franchise QB.

Right now, it could not be more unclear what Aaron Rodgers will do, but at this point, it might be best that the Steelers do not pursue Rodgers and instead work with the QB room that would now feature Sanders and Mason Rudolph. Some have said that Sanders is the most pro-ready QB in the class, but that also might come with a limited ceiling in the NFL.

At this point, Pittsburgh has to take a chance on a QB, and they don’t even have to trade up to get it done in this mock draft.

22. Los Angeles Chargers - Malaki Starks, S, Georgia

The Los Angeles Chargers taking a first-round safety might come as a shock, but with the rugged culture that Jim Harbaugh has instilled, you figure that they want to keep their top defense atop the NFL. LA missed out on signing Evan Engram this offseason, as he ended up choosing to sign with the Denver Broncos.

The Bolts signed Tyler Conklin instead and effectively replaced JK Dobbins with Najee Harris. The Chargers absolutely still need to draft some offensive playmakers with some of their remaining picks in this mock draft, and I bet they end up doing that.

Los Angeles went 11-6 in the first year of the Jim Harbaugh era, but they got blown out in the first round of the NFL playoffs.

23. Green Bay Packers - Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon

The Green Bay Packers have so many good players on their roster that it’s almost hard to keep track of them. However, they do not have many elite players, which is a huge reason why this team went 11-6 in 2024 and lost in the first round of the playoffs.

With another elite player or two on either side of the ball, and perhaps one more leap from Jordan Love, this team can be a huge problem in the NFC North. They’ll go with Oregon defensive tackle Derrick Harmon in this NFL mock draft.

However, Green Bay could perhaps use another wide receiver and maybe even a cornerback. Harmon is a very good DT prospect - one of the best in the draft, so this is still a great pick. Being that the Detroit Lions lost both coordinators to head coaching jobs this offseason, and the Minnesota Vikings are essentially returning to a rookie QB, Green Bay could be a team to watch out for as a sneaky candidate to win the division in the 2025 NFL Season.

Derrick Harmon might be able to help that much more in that quest.

24. Minnesota Vikings - Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia

With limited capital in the 2025 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings have to get some of these picks right, but this roster is nearly ready to go. The biggest thing Minnesota did this offseason was saying goodbye to Sam Darnold in free agency and handing the keys over to de-facto rookie, JJ McCarthy.

However, while that may seem like a shaky situation, this Vikings offensive personnel group is outstanding. They bolstered the OL in free agency with the signings of Will Fries and Ryan Kelly, and they also still have, you know, the best WR in the NFL in Justin Jefferson.

Aaron Jones was brought back on a free agency deal, and Jordan Addison is still a huge part of what they do. Minnesota will turn to the defensive side of the ball and take Mykel Williams from Georgia in the first round of this mock draft.

25. Houston Texans - Grey Zabel, OG, North Dakota State

Offensive line and wide receiver should be the primary first-round targets for the Houston Texans in the 2025 NFL Draft. Their OL was among the worst in the NFL back in 2024 and the primary reason why this team did not take that next step.

Heck, in 2023 and 2024, they won 10 games, won the AFC South, and won one playoff game. It’s actually impressive how consistent they have been, but that obviously isn’t what they are shooting for here. Grey Zabel is a Day 1 starter along the interior of the offensive line, but they could also take a left or right tackle with this pick.

Houston notably traded Laremy Tunsil to the Washington Commanders this offseason, but they also signed Trent Brown, Cam Robinson, and Laken Tomlinson. GM Nick Caserio is clearly bringing in some new faces to try and fix this OL, but more reinforcements in the 2025 NFL Draft are desperately needed.

I could see Houston grabbing Emeka Egbuka here, reuniting him and CJ Stroud from their days at Ohio State.

26. Los Angeles Rams - Nic Scourton, EDGE, Texas A&M

The Los Angeles Rams, it feels like, have hit on every single one of their defensive line draft picks over the last few seasons. It’s truly impressive how they have rebuilt this team. It’s not that top-heavy superteam anymore that won the Super Bowl back in 2021.

LA started the year 1-4 back in 2024 but managed to finish with a solid 10-7 record, which was good enough to capture the NFC West title. If the Rams do start off the 2025 NFL Season not dealing with insanely brutal injuries, they won’t start 1-4 and should be able to win 12 or more games this year.

Nic Scourton could be yet another ‘hit’ along the defensive line from the NFL Draft. It’s clear that GM Les Snead and head coach Sean McVay are still at the tops of their respective games, and there is no reason to believe why that cannot continue.

27. Baltimore Ravens - Jihaad Campbell, ILB, Alabama

Jihaad Campbell in the middle of the Baltimore Ravens defense alongside Roquan Smith feels unfair if you ask me. The Ravens do have such a solid roster that they could go in a number of different directions in the first round.

Campbell might be a fun player here - he is absolutely a first-round talent and is the best ILB prospect in the draft class. The Ravens again lost in the postseason and have not won multiple playoff games since the 2012 NFL Season.

Lamar Jackson got snubbed of his third NFL MVP, and it was just all-around a frustrating year for the franchise. At least, that’s the way I would view it.

At some point, if the Ravens keep faltering in the playoffs, we may have to begin having more serious conversations here… is this turning out to be a coaching staff issue or even a quarterback issue? How can a team be so good but not have much of anything to show for it in the playoffs?

28. Detroit Lions - James Pearce Jr, EDGE, Tennessee

James Pearce Jr is an insane athlete and a great pick for the Detroit Lions at the bottom of the first round. The Lions have begun handing out some big-time contracts for some of the home-run draft picks that GM Brad Holmes and his staff have brought along. No NFL team can pay everyone, so Holmes will have to keep hitting on some of these younger players.

Pearce was a ridiculously productive collegiate player and would be entering into one of the best and most dedicated cultures in the NFL. This should help him reach his potential quite quickly in the NFL. Can the Detroit Lions stay healthy for most of the season and perhaps make a Super Bowl run in 2025?

29. Washington Commanders - Xavier Watts, S, Notre Dame

This might be a bit of an unexpected pick by the Washington Commanders, but they have more in the 2025 NFL Draft and can truly hone in on some key roster needs. Xavier Watts is their first-round selection, and what a turnaround it has been for this team over the last calendar year. They hit a grand-slam with the Jayden Daniels selection, as Daniels ended up putting up the best rookie QB season in the history of the NFL.

Between the regular and postseason, the Commanders won 14 games and were just one game away from Super Bowl LIX. In the offseason, they traded for a pair of quality veterans in Deebo Samuel and Laremy Tunsil, two players who could instantly become cornerstones of this offense.

Washington could use another weapon on the outside, but they also have some defensive needs, and with Dan Quinn obviously being a defensive-minded head coach, he’ll surely want to put an emphasis on that side of the ball in the NFL Draft.

30. Buffalo Bills - Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State

Emeka Egbuka could be a super fun player for the Buffalo Bills in this offense. He’s their pick with the 30th selection. Buffalo may have remaining needs in the secondary and along the defensive line, but this team definitely closed the gap with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2024. The Bills beat the Chiefs in the regular season but fell just short against them in the playoffs yet again.

However, the Chiefs margins of victory were insanely slim, and as of now, the Bills have improved their roster more than the Chiefs have this offseason. Egbuka is a Day 1 contributor and someone who could easily catch 50 passes on this offense in year one.

It’s now been two-straight seasons of Buffalo using top draft capital on the wide receiver position.

31. Kansas City Chiefs - Walter Nolen, DT, Ole Miss

Walter Nolen seems to come with a bit of maturity concerns, but he’s one of the best defensive tackles in the 2025 NFL Draft, and many have said that he has the highest ceiling of all DL players in this year’s class. That is both a huge compliment and a bit of caution as well.

One of the most well-run and successful NFL franchises this century should be able to get the most out of Nolen, and he’d be sharing a position room with the great Chris Jones, so this could be an overall outstanding situation for KC and Nolen himself.

The Chiefs do have a ton of offensive needs, so if this first-round pick was a running back, wide receiver, tight end, or tackle, that could fly as well.

It simply might be too hard for GM Brett Veach to pass up on Nolen. With his higher ceiling, that might be enough to take a swing here, as the Chiefs have constantly had picks at the bottom of rounds with all the success they have had in recent years.

32. Philadelphia Eagles - Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri

If you want to talk about unfair, how about Luther Burden III on the Philadelphia Eagles? The Eagles did lose a good bit on the defensive side of the ball this offseason, as players like Darius Slay, James Bradberry, Milton Williams, and Josh Sweat are no longer in the picture.

The Eagles could very, very easily go DL here in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft, but Burden might be too good of a player to pass up at pick 32. Philly blew out the Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX and will look to join the elite bunch of franchises that have won multiple Super Bowls in a row.

The roster does need a bit more work, but I would never doubt Howie Roseman, who is a wizard of a GM.
