With most of the NFL beginning their OTAs soon, let's unveil our latest power rankings. Most of the rest of the NFL will begin OTAs in a few days after the Memorial Day weekend, and this does signal a new beginning in the 2025 NFL Offseason.

The offseason activities will hopefully fly by, and it'll then bring us to preseason action, and in the first week of September, the regular season begins. There is still a good bit of time left, but the offseason in the summer months should hopefully fly by.

With OTAs now starting up, let's unveil our latest NFL power rankings.

2025 NFL Power Rankings: Latest power rankings as OTAs approach

32. New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints may have the worst QB room in the NFL and the worst roster in the league. Does this team even have a path to four wins in the 2025 NFL Season? In Kellen Moore's first year as an NFL head coach, he could be in for a brutal year.

31. Cleveland Browns

If nothing else, the Cleveland Browns did draft two quarterbacks in the 2025 NFL Draft, which is not a bad idea. It does seem like by them getting a first-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, they are looking to next year to bring in a legitimate QB.

The roster itself isn't terrible, but they were among the worst teams in the NFL in 2024 and will again be among the worst in 2025.

30. New York Giants

With a below-average QB situation and the hardest schedule in the NFL, the New York Giants are going to struggle mightily in 2025. Russell Wilson is going to be running for his life, so it would not shock me if we saw a good bit of Jameis Winston next season as well.

29. Tennessee Titans

Coming in at 29th in our power rankings is the Tennessee Titans, a team that did take QB Cam Ward with the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. That was the right idea, as Ward seems to have a high ceiling, but he will need some development.

Don't expect much from the Titans this season.

28. New York Jets

The New York Jets are planning to start Justin Fields at QB in the 2025 NFL Season, which should tell you everything you need to know about how competitive this team is going to be. Aaron Glenn is their new head coach, so with all of the newness with the Jets this year, they might struggle a bit and could limp to the finish line with five wins.

My thinking is that this team plans on making a huge push for a top QB prospect when the 2026 NFL Draft rolls around. They could find themselves picking in the top-5.

27. Indianapolis Colts

Daniel Jones and Anthony Richardson are the primary QBs in the Indianapolis Colts room. It's just not an ideal situation for a roster that is ready to compete. Unless Richardson makes an insane jump in 2025, the Colts are going to be bad again.

Daniel Jones is a known commodity in the NFL - and he's a bad quarterback, so the Colts really don't have many other options besides banking on Richardson or even seeing what Riley Leonard has at some point in the 2025 NFL Season.

26. Carolina Panthers

The Carolina Panthers might be a frisky team in 2025 if Bryce Young continues to play well, which is something he did down the stretch in 2024. However, this team is still quite unproven, so they come in 26th in our latest power rankings.

But adding Tet McMillan to this offense could be the final piece of the puzzle for what might be an encouraging season from the offense in 2025. The defense also needs to play better as well.

25. Jacksonville Jaguars

Liam Coen seemed to be their target as their next head coach, and ideally, the Jacksonville Jaguars find some stability on offense and with the run game, perhaps making life easier for Trevor Lawrence, who is already set to play in his fifth year in the league.

24. Pittsburgh Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers have been able to scrap and claw their way to winning seasons, but they have all ended in first-round playoff exits. Right now, unless they are able to sign Aaron Rodgers, the Steelers could be staring down their first losing season in quite some time.

The roster is average, but the QB room at the moment is among the worst in the NFL, so Pittsburgh comes in at 24th in our power rankings.

23. Dallas Cowboys

Dak Prescott returning to form and being able to throw to both George Pickens and CeeDee Lamb could actually make for an elite offense, and if the defense could just be average, Dallas might not be a bad team. However, that is asking a lot of the team, and until they prove they can compete, they'll come in this low in our power rankings.

Dallas is 23rd.

22. Seattle Seahawks

What were the Seattle Seahawks trying to do in the 2025 NFL Offseason? It made sense to move on from Geno Smith and to sign Sam Darnold, but it felt like the rest of the roster got a lot worse. Seattle did win 10 games in 2024, but they were the only double-digit win team to not make the postseason.

It's hard to envision Seattle being any good in 2025. They're 22nd in our latest NFL power rankings.

21. Las Vegas Raiders

Speaking of Geno Smith, the Las Vegas Raiders traded a third-round pick for the QB and also took Ashton Jeanty in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft. It's clear what the Raiders want to do with Pete Carroll as their head coach.

But that isn't going to be a winning formula in the AFC at all. Don't expect much from the Raiders in the 2025 season. They're not going to be very good.

20. Chicago Bears

With the amount of talent that the Chicago Bears added in the 2025 NFL Season, it is hard to imagine that this team does not drastically improve. Ben Johnson may have been the most crucial addition, but their moves along the interior offensive line were slam-dunks by Ryan Poles, who has built a top-12 roster.

If Caleb Williams can get rid of the ball quicker and not take too many sacks, Chicago is going to be dangerous immediately.

19. Miami Dolphins

This could be the final year of this current Miami Dolphins era, as there isn't a ton to love with this team, but you have to give GM Chris Grier credit, as they did prioritize physicality in the 2025 NFL Draft, but it might be too little, too late.

Tua Tagovailoa has struggled to stay on the field, and the one thing a team can't do in today's NFL is invest in the wrong QB, and that might be the case for the Miami Dolphins. They are right around average.

18. New England Patriots

The New England Patriots added a ton of talent this offseason and now have a legitimate coaching staff and a competent offensive line. Their projected starting tackles in 2025 are Will Campbell and Morgan Moses, which are great additions for Drake Maye, who played a lot better than the stats may indicate.

The Pats are the second-best team in the AFC East and could shock the NFL very soon.

17. Arizona Cardinals

Another team I believe could shock the NFL in 2025 is the Arizona Cardinals. They rebuilt their defensive line in free agency and should be a lot more stout up front. They were also 6-4 at one point in 2024, so it's not like Arizona isn't competitive.

Right now, though, it's hard to rank them any higher, as there is still a lot unknown with this team approaching 2025.

16. Minnesota Vikings

What am I missing with the Minnesota Vikings? This team is essentially starting a rookie QB in 2025, so their success in 2024 really does not matter. The Vikes are, until they prove otherwise, an average NFL team at this point. JJ McCarthy is also still just 22 years old, so he is far from a finished product and might have to take his rookie lumps in 2025.

I am not saying that this team is going to be bad or anything, but let's pump the brakes a bit.

15. Atlanta Falcons

With the Atlanta Falcons having the best roster in the NFC South, they should be in contention for the NFC South title in the 2025 NFL Season. Most of this is going to hinge on Michael Penix Jr, who did get some action near the end of the 2024 NFL Season.

But with Bijan Robinson in the backfield and Drake London at wide receiver, Penix has the necessary weapons to make a huge leap in his second year in the NFL.

14. Cincinnati Bengals

Having among the worst defenses in the NFL in 2024, the nine-win Cincinnati Bengals wasted a prime year of Joe Burrow's career, and Burrow actually played the best football of his career. Wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase also won the triple crown, leading the league in receptions, yards, and touchdowns.

The Bengals defense simply just has to be average, but that seems to be a tall task for this inept franchise. Cincy comes in at 14th in our latest NFL power rankings.

13. San Francisco 49ers

The San Francisco 49ers have an ultra-soft schedule in the 2025 NFL Season and could reset in a big way. While they did say goodbye to former foundational players, the roster is fine and the coaching staff is good enough to lead this team to more wins than you think.

With Brock Purdy now locked-up for the long-term, the Niners can enter into a new era and get back into contention in the NFC West.

12. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Maybe the most 'good' team in the NFL, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers might be due to take a step back in the 2025 NFL Season, as they lost Liam Coen to the Jacksonville Jaguars head coaching job, so they will have yet another new offensive coordinator.

Baker Mayfield is also a good QB... he's not great, and that could end up being a problem after so long. Tampa is 12th in our latest NFL power rankings.

11. Houston Texans

The Houston Texans did make a ton of moves to fix their offensive line for the 2025 NFL Season, and that was their downfall, but it is interesting that most of us would consider the Texans 2024 season as a regression.

But they won 10 games, won the AFC South, and also won a playoff game - replicating what they did in the 2024 NFL Season. The ceiling for this team is insanely high, but the OL has to come together, and the offense as a whole has to become less predictable. They absolutely have the talent to become a contender.

10. Green Bay packers

The Green Bay Packers might have the deepest roster in the entire NFL, but they are stuck in the talented NFC North and do not have a clear-cut path to the division title in the 2025 NFL Season. They have won 20 regular season games over the last two seasons, so they are doing something right, but it's clear that this team needs to do a bit more to ascend to contender status, which is a place they have been for multiple decades now.

Green Bay comes in 10th in our power rankings.

9. Denver Broncos

With the amount of talent that the Denver Broncos added, it was actually hard to rank them ninth in our latest NFL power rankings. Denver shocked the NFL world in 2024 and won 10 games, making the playoffs for the first time since the 2015 NFL Season when they won Super Bowl 50.

Denver is absolutely on the right track and just might have the best defense in the entire NFL, which is nothing to ignore. If the defense is again elite, and Bo Nix makes another leap forward, the Broncos could compete for the AFC West title.

8. Los Angeles Chargers

The Los Angeles Chargers more than doubled their win total in 2024 from the 2023 season, winning 11 games and making the playoffs. They finally got the head coach right with Jim Harbaugh, but they did get blown out in the Wild Card Round, and that loss did again make us think if Justin Herbert is going to be the guy to lead them to an eventual Super Bowl.

LA did add the necessary talent on offense to take that next step, and the defense should remain stout. The Chargers are pretty consistent on either side of the ball and are eight in our power rankings.

7. Los Angeles Rams

After beginning the 2024 NFL Season 1-4, the LA Rams finished 9-3, winning the NFC West. This team could easily win 12 games in the 2025 NFL Season, again winning the NFC Weat. And even as Matthew Stafford ages, he is still putting up some efficient numbers.

There isn't much to dislike about the Los Angeles Rams, as GM Les Snead has done an awesome job at building this roster up. LA comes in at seventh in our latest power rankings.

6. Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs won all of their one-score games in the 2025 NFL Season, which is simply not going to happen again. This team is still great, but let's be honest with ourselves - they aren't the dominant Chiefs team we have seen in prior years, and even Patrick Mahomes is not putting up the numbers he used to.

KC is still great and still the favorite to win the AFC West, but it's not as clear as it has been.

5. Washington Commanders

A team right on the cusp of contention, the Washington Commanders were cooking with fire in the 2025 NFL Season and won 14 total games between the regular and postseason. QB Jayden Daniels may already be among the NFL's elite, so this franchise is just on the right track to say the least.

They are just inside the top-5 in our latest NFL power rankings as OTAs draw near.

4. Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens have not won multiple games in the postseason since 2012, so it's been a decade-plus struggle for this franchise in the postseason. Lamar Jackson may have also gotten robbed of what would have been his third MVP award.

Can the Ravens put all of that behind them in 2025?

3. Detroit Lions

In my opinion, the Detroit Lions have the best roster in the NFL. They did lose both Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn to head coaching jobs in 2025. Losing both is going to be tough for this team to rebound from, but the roster itself is plenty good enough to soften the blow.

They come in at third in our power rankings, the second-best team in the NFC ahead of the 2025 season.

2. Buffalo Bills

A team that many thought would win the AFC in 2024, the Buffalo Bills lost in the AFC Championship Game and come in at no. 2 in our latest NFL power rankings. Buffalo may have the best roster in the conference, and at some point, they have to make a Super Bowl run, right?

Josh Allen is also the MVP of the NFL, so this franchise is riding pretty high. They've got a cupcake schedule in 2025 as well, so I would expect them to also contend for the top seed in the AFC.

1. Philadelphia Eagles

It's only fair to rank the defending Super Bowl champions no. 1 on our latest NFL power rankings. I am personally predicting that the Eagles do have a bit of a regression in 2025, but they'll still be a good team. It's hard to remain atop the league the year after winning a Super Bowl, and I am not sure Philly has a good enough QB or head coach to indeed do that.

For now, though, they are top in our power rankings.
