Super Bowl XLVI Vegas Odds

There are only three games left in the NFL season — the AFC and NFC Championships, along with Super Bowl XLVI. With only four teams remaining, RJ Bell of Pregame.com has released the Vegas odds for each team. The New England Patriots (+120) are the favorite to win the Lombardi Trophy, followed by the New York Giants (+350) and San Francisco 49ers (+350), with the Baltimore Ravens being the long shot (+600).

What are the odds for each conference championship game?

The Patriots have opened up as 7.5 point favorites over the Ravens. It is the first time since 2007 that the Ravens have been underdogs of more than a touchdown. In the NFC bracket, the 49ers are a 2.5 point favorite over the Giants — the first time in ten years that a conference championship has had a spread of less than a field goal.

Which conference is favored to win Super Bowl XLVI? The answer caught me by surprise.

According to Vegas, the AFC is favored by 4 points to be the winners of the Lombardi Trophy. Just a weekend ago, the NFC was favored by four points. The loss of the Saints and the Packers seriously hurt the NFC’s odds.

Do you agree with the Vegas lines or do you have another idea of who should be favored? Leave your feelings known in the comments.
