CONTEST: Take NFL Player To School With Verizon’s ‘Show & Tell’
By Josh Sanchez
The fine folks at Verizon Wireless are holding a contest where your child could end up winning the experience of a lifetime and receive the chance to take a NFL player to school for “Show and Tell.” The contest will be held in various cities across the Midwest — Cleveland, Cincinnati, Chicago, Detroit and Pittsburgh.
The rules for the contest are simple:
"Open only to legal residents who are 18 years or older at time of entry, and who are the parent or legal guardian of a child enrolled in grades K-8 in a school located in the eligible area. Void where prohibited. Contest ends October 15, 2012, at 11:59 PST. See Official Rules for complete details."
A winner from each city will be selected at a random drawing by a sponsor or an agent of a sponsor. Your chances of winning depend on the number of entries into the competition. Which players will be participating in the show and tell? Here is a list:
- Cincinnati Bengals — A.J. Green
- Cleveland Browns — Joe Thomas
- Chicago Bears — Roberto Garza
- Detroit Lions — Kyle Vanden Bosch
- Pittsburgh Steelers — LaMarr Woodley
