Record: 6-2

Quarterback

Joe Flacco is something of an enigma as a fantasy quarterback. Some weeks he looks like Peyton Manning in his prime, some weeks he looks like Ryan Leaf on a bad day. It is this inconsistency that makes him tough to trust. The Raiders have had a much better defense this year and I expect Flacco to be held under 250 yards once again. He’s barely top 20 at this point if he is at all.

Running Back

While the Raiders defense has improved this year, I expect they will be no match for Ray Rice who is a must start as he is every week. His backup Bernard Pierce is interesting – he got a score last week and has shown the good ability that made him a sleeper for his rookie year. He’s worth a look in deeper leagues.

Wide Receiver

While picking between the Ravens wide receivers can be tough at times due to Flacco’s inconsistency, Oakland is a team susceptible to big plays which lends towards this being a good matchup for Torrey Smith. I’d project 80 yards and a touchdown. In PPR formats, Anquan Boldin doesn’t have the value he once did opposite Larry Fitzgerald in Arizona but he is still one of the better possession receivers in the game – he’s a solid flex to low end WR2 in that format.

Tight End

At the beginning of the season, Dennis Pitta looked like he was one his way to being the next Gronk. Now however he just looks sad with 3 or less fantasy points in his last five games. I think he will get better soon but I wouldn’t count on it in this game. If Pitta looks sad, Ed Dickson looks absolutely miserable as he appears to have fallen completely out of favor – he should be nowhere near your fantasy radar just now.
