Pro football is a fast paced, hard hitting sport, and by its very nature, a violent one. All to often we see players getting hit so hard they almost jump out their boots. But what happens when the victims of these hits are innocent bystanders on the sideline?
Cast your mind back to this year’s NFC Conference Championship game, when Falcons receiver, Julio Jones almost killed a security guard.
Well, that seems like a good place to start. The term ‘broken coccyx’ springs to mind. The poor security guard obviously did not see this coming and he got levelled. Not sure how I feel about Julio Jones just walking away like it was no big deal.
So, apparently Devin Aromashodu doesn’t like having his picture taken:
Cowboys tight end, Jason Witten does his best to cushion her fall, but this cheerleader seems to find the whole ordeal quite amusing:
Looks like the cameraman put a bit of a hit on Rashard Mendenhall, judging by how long it takes the Steelers RB to recover. I always wonder what happens to these sideline victims afterwards. We never hear about their injuries. This guy just ends up lying on the ground. Again, the player doesn’t seem too concerned with the dude he just wiped out.
Okay, so the last one isn’t from the NFL, but it features probably one of the toughest cameramen you will find. Guy just gets up and shakes it off like it happens all the time – and holds onto the camera!!
