Tim Tebow signed a 2-year deal with no guarantees and no signing bonus.
Contract for #Patriots QB Tim Tebow: 2-year deal worth the minimum. No signing bonus or guarantees. Play-time incentives only in 2014

Tebow is going to have to work his tail off in order to make the roster. There is no incentive for the Patriots to keep him around. If he doesn’t work out as the 3rd quarterback, then he will be right back on the streets.
If he actually surprises people and looks like an NFL quarterback (if that is how they use him), then they can use him as a trading chip so that Bill Belichick can hoard more draft picks.
Or Bill will just get tired of talking about Tebow and he will cut him because he is tired of talking about it. I can’t wait to see how many times the media asks him about Tebow. How much can they bug him! Should be fun.
