The work that the Seattle Seahawks are doing this offseason is not going unnoticed. It has caught the eye of players in San Francisco. 49ers tight end/wide receiver Vernon Davis has taken notice:

"“They’re building a dynasty over there,” the Niners tight end told NFL.com’s Jeff Darlington at the NFL Rookie Symposium in Ohio. “These guys are coming to take us out. I respect them, but we want to win, too. We have to … play each game like it’s our last game.” – NFL.com"

The 49ers may be the favorite to win the division and the conference, but the Seahawks are right on their heels. One misstep (or one injury) could put the Seahawks to the top of the food chain.

The Seahawks impressed last season with the play of Russell Wilson and they have only added more weapons on offense for Wilson. Wilson now will have a offensive weapon in Percy Harvin. Harvin will get plenty of touches and Pete Carroll will find different ways to get him the football.

This is going to be one of the best battles to watch during the season. There is some bitterness between the teams, but there is also a ton of respect between the two. Both teams have good young quarterbacks and a strong defense. It will be one fun battle to watch.
