New York Giants linebacker Dan Connor recently signed with the team this past March but is in the headlines for all the wrong reasons as he has reportedly been arrested at an airport for possession of a weapon.

A switch blade, that is.

Philadelphia TV station WPVI had the report first, saying Connor was arrested Saturday morning. According to NBCPhiladelphia.com, Connor is being hit with a possession of an offensive weapon charge.

Our Take: Oh look, another NFL player getting arrested. This time it’s case similar to the recent one with Andre Smith, right tackle for the Cincinnati Bengals.

At least Connor didn’t bring a loaded gun.

This is a bad look for Connor. He has to know that would not fly at an airport. He’s been in the league since 2008 and is with his third different team. By now he has to know what works and what doesn’t. He deserves whatever is coming to him for this one.
