Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Justin Blackmon is predictably immature. He’s already suspended for the first four games of the 2013 NFL season, but that did not stop him from getting into a fight on the sidelines during the Jaguars preseason matchup with the Miami Dolphins.

Blackmon was reportedly fighting the Dolphins; Nolan Carroll—and his own teammates—before being removed from the sideline. Mark Long has the report:

"Blackmon sat out the preseason game Friday night while recovering from groin surgery, but he was on the sideline in street clothes when he started jawing with Carroll. It was unclear who or what prompted the verbal tiff. The exchange intensified to the point where Jaguars coach Gus Bradley got involved.Running back Maurice Jones-Drew stepped in, calmed Blackmon down and escorted him to the locker room."

Long further elaborated via Twitter:

Shocking, right? Blackmon has a long way to go before showing he is mature enough to handle the NFL. The intensity for a preseason game is nice, but the smart players would use it to help motivate his team.

Not cause a distraction. For now, that’s all Blackmon has been good for in 2013.
