St Louis Rams LB Jo-Lonn Dunbar has been suspended for the first four games of the season for violating the league’s policy on PEDs. How many players have received that suspension this season? Sure seems to be a few guys this offseason to get that suspension. More than usual.

Dunbar is the starting strong side linebacker for the Rams and totaled 113 tackles last season, including a team-leading 16 for loss. He also had 4.5 sacks and 2 interceptions last season.

With Dunbar out for the first 4 games, veteran Will Witherspoon will likely be the man to step in as the starter on the strong side. Witherspoon should be a decent fill-in for the first 4 games. He has a ton of experience and should be able to hold the fort down for a bit.

It still will be a tough loss for the Rams. They have two conference games against the Cardinals and 49ers in the first 4 games. He will also be missing tough games against the Falcons and Cowboys. That is not an easy run to be missing your starting linebacker.
