The Philadelphia Eagles will be getting both Michael Vick and LeSean McCoy back at practice today after brief, very minor injury scares in Thursday’s loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Eagles will only be missing one player at today’s practice. Per CSN Philly’s Geoff Mosher, that player is starting safety Patrick Chung, who is one of the most injury prone players in the game.

According to Mosher, Patrick Chung is still suffering from the shoulder injury he sustained on Thursday, and it looked like a significant one that could even hold him out of Week 4’s big game against the Denver Broncos. Chung has a long week to rest, though, and the injury is only minor and less severe than it could have been- he had to have his arm in a sling. The Eagles free safety is day-to-day with a left shoulder contusion, and he is reportedly day-to-day with the injury.

I doubt Chung will end up missing this week’s game against the Broncos, and there was actually a chance of him being able to practice today. He will almost certainly be able to practice later on this week, and we shouldn’t anticipate him being out. Despite his struggles this season, Chung’s health is definitely important to the Eagles, because the players backing him up are severe downgrades.
