Of course, Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Josh Freeman is requesting to be traded. I am sure that the Bucs would move him if they can find someone that is interested. But who is interested in his services?

Earlier in the day, Freeman was benched for rookie Mike Glennon. The Buccaneers are 0-3 and are looking for any answer right now to right the ship. When things go bad, everyone points to the leader first. Freeman is running the ship and is the scapegoat for the poor start.

Now that he has been benched, he wants to be traded. The Jacksonville Jaguars and the Cleveland Browns have already said that they are not interested in trading for the quarterback. There was some interest in Freeman during the offseason, but not sure if a team would want to bring in a new quarterback in the middle of the season to run the show.

Maybe the Minnesota Vikings would be interested in Freeman. They are in the same situation as the Buccaneers in the standings and have their own issues at quarterback. Maybe the Cardinals would be interested in having a young quarterback learn from Carson Palmer? I don’t see many spots available that would use Freeman as a starter at this point.
