Former Minnesota Vikings DB Antoine Winfield is considering returning to the game. He was released by the Seattle Seahawks in preseason and had intentions to file his retirement papers, but he never actually got that done.

He has been working out in Houston and said that he would consider coming back if he can find the right situation. I am sure that he would want to play for a winner or he likely would consider returning to the Minnesota Vikings. Unfortunately, the Vikings have stumbled out of the gate.

“Antoine definitely appreciates coach (Leslie Frazier), and some of his best friends in life play on that team right now,” agent Ashanti Webb told Sean Jensen of the St. Paul Pioneer Press two weeks ago. “He was there for basically a decade, so Minnesota will always hold a special place in his heart. But I haven’t heard anything substantive from them to bring back to Antoine.”

So Antoine would love to go back to Minnesota. I am sure that there are other teams in the league that would love to get some help in the secondary also.
