Giacomini had surgery on his ailing knee. He missed Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans because of the injury. The team was also without C Max Unger and LT Russell Okung on the offensive line.

There is no timetable on Giacomini’s return. The procedure was to clean up some stuff on the knee, but the team is hoping that it will only be a few weeks for him to return, but it could take some time.

The Seahawks started rookie Michael Bowie on the right side this weekend against the Texans and he will likely be the starter while Giacomini is out. The offensive line struggled against the Texans pass rush and gave up 5 sacks in the game. They are going to have to go through a few more games without the bookends on that line. Wilson better have his running shoes ready.
