The Seattle Seahawks lost DE Michael Bennett in the game against the Houston Texans and the injury looked scary. He had to be carted off of the field.

Bennett was bent over backward after hitting QB Matt Schaub. There was a minute left in the 2nd quarter and Bennett was on the ground lying face down for a while. He was taken to the hospital to be evaluated.

He suffered a lower back injury and returned to the team on Sunday Night. Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll believes that Bennett is good to go and could be back on the practice field this week and play against Indianapolis on Sunday.

"“He went from where he was to he was feeling pretty good today,” Carroll said. “So we’re excited about that for him. He was really scared. They had him in all of the alerts and didn’t know what was going on. But, I just checked him before I came in, he’s going to go this week and we’ll see how much he can work with the thought that he can go this week.”"

Bennett has 2.5 sacks in the first 4 games this season and has been a nice contributor to the Seahawks defense.
