Oakland Raiders QB Matt Flynn has now been demoted to the 3rd string spot on the depth chart. He is falling off the planet’s depth chart.

Matt Flynn signed a nice deal with the Seattle Seahawks last season and was supposed to start the year as their starting quarterback and lost the job to Russell Wilson. Then he was traded over to the Raiders this last offseason and was supposed to compete for the starting job with Oakland. He then lost out on that job to Terrelle Pryor.

He got his first opportunity to start last week with the Raiders and that opportunity was short lived. Now he is getting droppe on the depth chart and might as well hit the unemployment line now. Why would the Raiders want to keep an overpriced 3rd string quarterback around. Would another team try to trade for him all over again?

Undrafted rookie Matt McGloin was elevated to the team’s number 2 quarterback spot. Terrelle Pryor will be back starting for the Raiders against the San Diego Chargers this weekend.
