The Houston Texans have had a star wide receiver on their sideline for years with Andre Johnson. He has been one of the elite receivers in this league for years and the team has always been trying to find someone that can take the pressure off of him that could line up on the other side.

The Texans have finally found that guy with rookie WR DeAndre Hopkins. Hopkins has impressed in this young season and started out his career by winning offensive rookie of the month for September.

In his first month of action, Hopkins has 20 receptions for 271 yards and a touchdown. As he continues to get comfortable in the league, those numbers will only get better. He makes spectacular catches in practice all the time and has made those catches in game action as well:

"“If you’re out at practice watching him, he makes a spectacular catch at least once a day and sometimes three times a day,” offensive coordinator Rick Dennison said.“So for us to put the ball up and him to make a play, that’s great to see, but we kind of expected it. That’s what he’s here for.” – KHOU.com"

He has become a great weapon for the Texans and has had a nice start to his career.
