Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy doesn’t plan on leaving his feet to gain a few more yards any more. He doesn’t think that it is worth it to leap over defenders in order to get those few extra yards.

Eddie Lacy suffered his first career concussion while trying to dive in week 2 against the Washington Redskins.

"“I don’t see me jumping like that anymore, unless it’s from the 5 or something like that,” Lacy said, via Mike Vandermause of the Green Bay Press-Gazette.“I feel a lot better, and anytime you get a chance to get back on the field you’re going to be excited about that,” Lacy said. “I’m just taking it one day at a time, still getting in the playbook, going through the process, and I’ll be happy when I get to play.” –  Packers News"

Lacy has not played since week 2, but was back on the practice field on Wednesday. He is looking to return to the field this week against the Detroit Lions. He won’t be leaping any time soon. BUT what happens when you are a yard out from the end zone and leaping over the pile is the only way to go? JUMP ON IN!
