UCLA’s Anthony Barr is making his push up the draft boards with his play this season. The senior OLB recorded 3 more tackles for loss, including a pair of sacks against Utah on Thursday. Barr now has a total of 8 tackles for loss this season and 3 sacks through the first 4 games. There were plenty of NFL scouts on hand keeping their eyes on the linebacker.

Barr has added weight this season and is starting to use his hands and length better. This is only his second season playing defense and he already looks like he could be a top 5 draft pick next season. There is already talk that he could be passing up South Carolina phenom Jadeveon Clowney in the draft.

"“If we’re just going off of what has been done on the tape, Anthony Barr has outplayed him. And when you really think about his versatility and what he brings to the table, I think you can make an argument that he may be a guy that is more worthy of being selected at the top of the board than Jadeveon Clowney based on what we have seen on the tape on the field,” (Bucky) Brooks said on the College Football 24/7 Podcast."

Any team that runs a 3-4 defense should be interested in bringing in the stud outside linebacker in the draft.
