Texas A&M Aggies QB Johnny Manziel is one of the top prospects in the country. He won the Heisman Trophy last year and today it looks like he has a serious knee injury. He went down in the first quarter of the game against Ole Miss grabbing his knee and he was not hit on the play. Sounds like he blew his knee out. It never is good if a player goes down without even getting touched.

Manziel did walk off of the football field with a little help though. It will be interesting to see how this all develops.

Manziel is one of the top prospects for this years draft and has been the headline of all kinds of stories. Hopefully the injury isn’t too bad for Manziel, it definitely will be something that everyone will be watching. He is a playmaker and was looking to scramble and his knee buckled on him.

If he is out with a season ending injury, it will be interesting to see how teams are going to view him for the upcoming draft. He has shown a ton of promise, but injuries will definitely hurt someone’s draft stock.

UPDATE: Johnny Manziel put a brace on and is jogging up and down the sideline getting it loosened up. Looks like he might be OK.

ANOTHER UPDATE: Manziel is back on the field and things seem alright again. I guess he just rubbed some dirt on it and walked it off.
