All the hype for this season has been with Louisville QB Teddy Bridgewater. He is a stud quarterback and is projected to be the number 1 quarterback taken in the draft.

Peter King says that there are at least a couple of teams that have Oregon redshirt sophomore QB Marcus Mariota higher on their draft board though. Here is what he wrote on MMQB:

"Mariota will be draft-eligible next May (as will many other attractive quarterbacks, including Johnny Manziel) because he’s in his third college season out of high school. And at least two teams love Mariota to the point that I believe if he comes out those teams would have him higher on their board than Bridgewater."

Could we see Mariota selected in that number 1 spot?

Would either player be a bad selection? Both can lead their teams to victories and both have big time playmaking abilities. It will be interesting to see which teams are higher on Mariota though. Are the Jacksonville Jaguars one of those teams? It will be an interesting draft season with both quarterbacks coming out and Jadeveon Clowney coming out as well. There are playmakers to be picked up.
