The Oakland Raiders believe that they have something special with young QB Terrelle Pryor. It is hard to disagree with them with the way that he has performed in this early season. Here is head coach Dennis Allen’s take on Pryor:

"“He’s still a young player,” Allen said Monday. “He’s still got a lot of growing to do and a lot of getting better to do. He’s a talented player and we’re going to continue to try to build with him and try to grow with him.” – NFL.com"

Pryor was sacked 10 times against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, but a lot of that was because of the poor offensive line that the Raiders had in front of him. If the Raiders would like to build around Pryor, they better start with the players up front. He can’t make everyone miss and he can’t be running for his life in every game.

Pryor has an awesome ability to escape pressure in the pocket and he can pick up a ton of yards on the ground. He has great speed to break loose outside and is good at throwing the ball rolling to his right side. He has poise and charisma under center and he should be handling that quarterback spot for a long time.

Give him some time and give him some options in the passing game and Pryor could be a very dangerous quarterback. He
