When is San Diego Chargers TE Ladarius Green going to get his chance? When Green has had his opportunities, he has shined. He looked like the best player on the field in the preseason and he has made some nice catches in the regular season, but he barely sees the playing field.

Currently, Green is a special teams stud that is making tackles on kickoffs for the Chargers. Some time, he will be the star tight end that is catching touchdowns in the end zone.

Green is a tough matchup for defenses as a tight end. He has ridiculous speed for his size and can burn by a lot of linebackers. He is too big for corners to cover him also. He presents that classic problem for team’s to cover a wide receiver that lines up at tight end.

Green doesn’t block as strong as the other tight ends on the roster and that likely is one reason why he isn’t out there on every play. He can pick up chunks of yards though.

Green will get his opportunity at some time. I just hope he makes the most of it.
