Dallas Cowboys DE DeMarcus Ware and RB DeMarco Murray have traveled with the team to Philadelphia for the game against the Eagles. Both are not expected to play, but they will work out before the game to see if they are ready to face off against the division rivals. Both Murray and Ware were listed as doubtful on the injury report, but it looks like they have a chance to play. Usually players that are not able to play will stay home for the game.
The Cowboys would love to have both of their star players in the lineup in the matchup for first place. Murray is the team’s leading rusher with 428 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns this season. Without him in the lineup, the Cowboys will have to rely on Lance Dunbar to carry the football. I would expect the offense to rely on Tony Romo to move the ball on offense if Murray is unable to go.
Ware has 4 sacks this season for the Cowboys. With Ware out, the team will rely on Kyle Wilber to start at defensive end for the defense. George Selvie is the starter opposite of Ware and he is taking the spot for injured Anthony Spencer.
We will have to see how they both feel before the game and see what their status is at the start of the game.
