The Cleveland Browns have passed up on Jason Campbell to be the starting quarterback a number of time already. He was in the mix during preseason and then Brandon Weeden was selected as the starter. Then when Weeden went down with an injury, they selected Brian Hoyer to be the starter over Campbell. When Hoyer went down, they went back to Weeden. Finally, Weeden has not shown anything in his opportunity to play and Jason Campbell has been named the starter for the Cleveland Browns for Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

I don’t know how the Chiefs get to face backup quarterbacks all the time, but sometime you get all the luck in the world. Campbell gives the Browns the best chance to win the game though. He is a veteran starter and he has some weapons on offense that he can use. Jordan Cameron is a stud tight end that did a lot of great things when Brian Hoyer was the starter and Josh Gordon is a really good wide receiver that everyone wants to trade for.

Campbell will have to deal with a tough defense and the Kansas City crowd noise, but he has dealt with them before with his time in Oakland. He gives the Browns the best chance to win. The Chiefs are due for a loss also.
