The Denver Broncos will deactivate Ronnie Hillman this weekend against the Washington Redskins because of all the fumbling issues that he has had this season. Instead of Hillman, rookie RB C.J. Anderson will get his chance to be activated on the roster. Hillman has been active for the first 7 games this season, but he has had an issue with holding onto the football. He lost a fumble on Sunday against the Colts and he fumbled the week before against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Broncos coaching staff wants to make sure that he understands the importance of ball security and will not have him active for this week. Anderson will get his first chance of the season, hopefully he will be able to hold onto the football when he gets the call.

Knowshon Moreno will get more of the work load in the Broncos backfield with Hillman on the sideline though. Hillman was getting into some of that share, but he won’t be participating this time around.
