Now that the Giants have won, do they feel like their is hope this season again? They may have won their first game of the year, but that doesn’t mean that they played well. They won one of the ugliest games of the season. They will be facing off against the Philadelphia Eagles in Philly this weekend. The Eagles still have not won a game at home this year, while the Giants have not won a game on the road. Someone’s streak is going to come to an end. Michael Vick will be back on the field for the Eagles. We will have to see how his hamstring reacts.

Giants Player to Watch: Victor Cruz

I would point to Eli Manning but he has been playing way too ugly for people to watch him. Despite the poor play by the Giants on offense, Victor Cruz has still been able to put up some good numbers. He has 40 receptions this year for 591 yards and 4 tocuhdowns. Not bad for a player on a terrible terrible team.

Eagles Player to Watch: Michael Vick

Michael Vick is back on the field as the starter for the Eagles, but he is heading out there with a bad hammy. His athleticism is the big reason why he is a threat with the football, so that bad hammy could slow him down. He has 1185 passing yards this season for 5 touchdowns. He is in charge of this fast pace offense and it will be up to him to get this team to put up more than 3 points on the scoreboard.

The Giants may have won their first game, but they won’t be winning that second game this week. They are not playing well and the Eagles are looking to get back into contention. They are at 3-4 and are looking to get back to .500 football. They have everything to play for and will leave the game victorious.
