Buffalo Bills star wide receiver Stevie Johnson had a great game against the New Orleans Saints yesterday, as he was able to haul in seven receptions for 72 yards and a touchdown for his most productive game from a yardage standpoint since Week 3. Johnson’s touchdown was an excellent one, but he did suffer a minor hip injury during the game. According to WGR 550’s Joe Buscaglia , Johnson has a hip flexor injury, but he is still expected to be a limited participant in practice on Wednesday.

There is no doubt that Johnson will be out there for a big game against the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs this week, as Johnson’s hip injury definitely doesn’t look severe enough to cost him any games. I mean, he barely missed much time during the game as it is. It’s a crucial contest for Johnson, who will be going up against an excellent Chiefs secondary.

Fellow wide receiver Marquise Goodwin also suffered an injury yesterday, and he was actually carted off in the fourth quarter with a left elbow injury. Thankfully, the X-rays turned up negative, so he will most likely play against the Chiefs this week. It’s all hands on deck for the Bills, and their rookie speed demon adds a key wrinkle to the offense. He had a nice game for himself yesterday, by the way, with three receptions for 56 yards.
