The New York Jets are in the playoff race and have been riding behind the performance of their defense and the rollercoaster ride of Geno Smith. They will have the visiting New Orleans Saints to deal with this weekend. The Saints have one loss this season, but they are looking to get home field advantage for the playoffs. They have to keep grabbing those wins against teams that they should beat.

Saints Player to Watch: Kenny Stills

Kenny Stills has been breaking out the last couple of games. Drew Brees has a new target to get the ball to. Stills has caught 6 passes in the last couple of games for a total of 193 yards and 3 touchdowns. He can get down the field quick and he stretches the football field for the rest of the guys.

Jets Player to Watch: Chris Ivory

Chris Ivory gets an opportunity to face off against his old team and will look to excel. He hasn’t had a great season, but I am sure he will have a little extra motivation against the Saints. He has 230 yards this season on the ground for a 3.1 yard average per carry.

Prediction:

Oct 27, 2013; New Orleans, LA, USA; New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees (9) and wide receiver Kenny Stills (84) celebrates after a touchdown against the Buffalo Bills during the second half of a game at Mercedes-Benz Superdome. This game will be close. The Jets have a solid defense that can slow down the Saints and the Saints will not be on their home field. The game will depend on Geno Smith. If he comes out on fire, then the Jets can take it. If he has another stinker, then it will be a blow out.
