Washington Redskins vs. San Diego Chargers Injury Report

The Washington Redskins are looking to finally get back on track tomorrow against the San Diego Chargers after blowing what would have been an incredible upset victory over the Denver Broncos. Another playoff-contending, AFC West foe awaits the Redskins tomorrow, as Philip Rivers looks to build his MVP resume with a favorable matchup against the Redskins secondary. Below are the injury reports for both teams, with kick-off scheduled for 1:00 p.m. ET tomorrow afternoon in Landover.

Washington Redskins

S Jose Gumbs (ankle)

WR Pierre Garcon (calf)

QB Robert Griffin III (knee)

DE Stephen Bowen (shoulder)

S Reed Doughty (concussion)

WR Leonard Hankerson (foot)

TE Logan Paulsen (knee)

RB Chris Thompson (shoulder)

DT Chris Neild (calf)

San Diego Chargers

OT Mike Remmers (ankle)

LB Donald Butler (groin)

WR Eddie Royal (toe)- He missed practice on both Thursday and Friday with a nagging toe injury, but I tentatively expect Royal to suit up and play.

G Chad Rinehart (toe)

LB Jarret Johnson (hamstring)

S Eric Weddle (toe)

DE Lawrence Guy (toe)

Both teams are healthy going into tomorrow’s matchup, and there are no major injuries to watch for on the Redskins side; this is about as healthy as you can be in the NFL during the middle of the season.
