Guess what happened to Darren McFadden again? McFadden is sidelined with another injury. He hurt his hamstring in the second quarter against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday and never returned. He may not be available for this weekend’s game because of the injury. We will be watching the practice reports this week with him, but this has been the same old song and dance with McFadden.

Fans used to think that McFadden was one of the best backs in the game IF he could stay healthy. Then he was fairly healthy last season and fans blamed the offensive scheme for his lack of success. The power running game made it’s return this season, but McFadden still has not been able to pick up the big chunks of yards like we were used to seeing.

This is his contract year and he needed to impress in order to pick up that big contract, but he has not had the numbers that he would like to see and now this injury that could get him sidelined for a bit is going to hurt his stock either. The Raiders should look in a different direction for a running back. They have watched the same  injury story happen year after year and they should make that come to an end as the season comes to an end. Time to find someone that can last for the whole season. Ben Tate?
