Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger says that he will do anything to stay in Pittsburgh. With all the rumors that are flying around about him wanting a trade, he is saying everything in order to clear that noise. One point of discussion is his contract and here is what he said about that:

“You know what? Obviously, I will do whatever I need to do,” Roethlisberger said. “That’s something that can be discussed when the time comes. It’s not really my thing. I play football. I have people to deal with all that stuff. I will do whatever it takes to stay here and be a part of this team and help this team win.”

Why wouldn’t Pittsburgh want to take advantage of that. If they need some cap space in order to bring more weapons, then might as well get that room.

I still think that Big Ben is one of the top quarterbacks in the game and that he should finish out his career in a Steelers uniform. I can’t really think of him in any other uni.
