Terrelle Pryor has been on the Oakland Raiders sideline with a knee injury, but he seems close to getting back onto the field. At least close to being fully recovered from the injury. Getting back onto the field will depend on how Matt McGloin does with his opportunity as the starter.

Pryor could be activated for the game on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans, but he would be starting the game as the team’s backup quarterback. McGloin has already been named the team’s starter for the game and he will continue to be the team’s starter as long as he keeps producing. He earned his start with his performance against the Houston Texans on Sunday. If he puts up a lot of points this weekend against the Titans on Sunday, then he should be back on the field again. The Raiders are going to ride out the hot hand.

Pryor has struggled with turnovers and with his knee injury, he hasn’t even been able to escape from the pressure. McGloin has done well in his limited opportunities. We will see how he does this weekend.
