The only two players absent at practice yesterday for the New England Patriots were rookie wide receiver Aaron Dobson and star left tackle Nate Solder, as Dobson has been dealing with a foot sprain for a few weeks now and Solder suffered a concussion on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns. According to ESPN Boston’s Field Yates, Dobson still isn’t practicing today, but Solder has returned to practice today. That’s definitely great news for the Patriots, since Solder is one of the best tackles in the league and his loss would have been a brutal one for the Pats- even for one game. Solder has already been cleared from the concussion, and he’s a full-go this week.

Meanwhile, Dobson is anything but a full-go, and it would be beyond shocking to see him return to the field this week. It looks like Kenbrell Thompkins is ready to return and start as the “X” receiver in the Patriots offense this week after missing last week’s game with a hip injury, but Dobson is still at least one week away from returning.

His foot sprain is clearly more severe than once thought, and he hasn’t practiced ever since the team’s win over the Denver Broncos. Dobson is a no-go for this week’s game after missing practice today, and fantasy owners should definitely be looking elsewhere.
