Chicago Bears CB Charles Tillman is officially done for the season because of a torn triceps. Head Coach Mark Trestman made the announcement on Monday during his press conference. Tillman’s recovery from the injury has not gone as smoothly as he would have hoped and he will not be able to return from the short term IR list. He will return to play next season, but we shall see what uniform he will be wearing. He is 33 years old and becomes a free agent at the end of the year. Some team will want to bring him onto the roster. He still is a good corner and can provide a veteran presence to a team.

The Bears will miss having Tillman on the field for their defense. He is the team’s best corner and he would be huge to help support the team defense and help make the playoff run for the Bears. The Bears currently hold the top spot in the NFC North and need to keep winning in order to keep the Lions off of their tail.
