Former Cincinnati Bengals WR Carl Pickens was arrested a couple of days ago for allegedly beating his wife on a movie date. Some of the details on the arrest have been released and the story on how the cops were able to find him are interesting.

When the authorities arrived at Pickens house in response to the domestic abuse call, Pickens’s wife lied and said that she did not know where Carl was and he wasn’t at the house. Then the deputies heard a loud crashing noise coming from the roof. FROM THE ROOF!

Guess who they found hiding in the attic? Carl Pickens!

AMAZING!

If you are going to hide in the attic, wouldn’t you want to sit still for a bit stay away from some of the soft spots in the ceiling? Try to lay low and try not to make any noise? Maybe Carl was dancing around celebrating his genius idea of hiding in the ceiling. Carl must have been terrible at playing hide-and-seek as a kid. Not a good look for Carl.
