The St. Louis Rams are going to bring in former New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator Gregg Williams onto the coaching staff so that he can run the Ram defense.

Williams runs an aggressive, attacking defense and will be sure to get after the quarterback. Wiliams will have a talented roster to work with. Robert Quinn and the rest of the guys on defense are going to get after opposing quarterbacks.

Williams was originally hired by the Rams in 2012, but was suspended by the league for his involvement with the New Orleans Saints bounty scandal. Williams returned to the NFL in 2013 as a Senior Assistant Coach on Defense for the Tennessee Titans and will not be joining Jeff Fisher’s staff again for 2014.

In order to make room for Williams, the Rams have fired DC Tim Walton. Williams was Fisher’s man all along.

How will Gregg Williams do controlling the defense all over again?
