Houston Texans Interested in QB Brock Osweiler

The Houston Texans are looking at all the possible options for a quarterback next season. Thatwill be their biggest hole to fill on the roster and they may not want to use their top draft choice to fill that spot. They are doing their scouting on the rosters on the league and it seems that they have some interest in Denver Broncos backup QB Brock Osweiler.

He has been on the Broncos roster since 2012 and is stuck behind Peyton Manning. He is learning from one of the best in the game, but he has not gotten much time on the field to show his value to other teams. How can you get on the field if Peyton Manning is running the show though? The only time he would get to see on the field is to kneel the ball down or to hand the ball off to the running backs to kill the clock.

This could be an opportunity for Osweiler to get some significant playing time. Would Osweiler be a better option than the guys that are entering the draft though?
